When someone asks for exact places, dates and events, it is not imposing a Christian or Abrahamic template, as J Sai Deepak said. It is the historical critical method being applied. This is applied by historians no matter which religious or historical text is taken. And these are not applied by Christians per se but by scholars from all religious backgrounds including Hindus and a large number of atheists.
Interesting to see Mr. Sai talk about Christianity, and talk so authoritatively without having read the Holy Bible from cover to cover. It is easy to talk down other faiths, so as to build up your own. Anyways, the point is that Christians don't need to defend Christianity. When Christ does come, you will understand and the truth will be made known to you. Until then, may your faith give you strength. God Bless you Mr Sai, may he open your eyes to the truth.

People who are following the religion out of social obligations like women and children are compelled to do certain things out of religious obligations like sati, dasi, untouchability child sacrifices etc etc. Wouldn't that unfair practice of religion be questioned of its othenticity? When people question Ramayan then you guys jump to maha bharata and then when you are questioned for maha Bharat you jump to Vedas then from vedas to the unknown? So far we have found ancient civilizations of IVC and rakhigari and they dont at all match with what you guys currently follow which is Ramaya, Mahabharata and clasical hinduism of vedas. Evolution of religion is a natural anthropological and cognitive phenomenon that has a common evolutionary path but later it diversified into different branches. Animism, Shamanism and Dreamism is the basis of all religions including Islam, Christianity, Hinduism etc. Doctrinal religions like Islam and Christianity are totally against Shamanic Gods and rituals although their own monotheistic God and religious practices has Shamanic origins and Shamanic traditions and rituals are still practiced in Islam and Christianity but in a rebranded form. They both vow to end the Shamanic culture and practices of others. Dharmic, Hindu or Sanatani tradition consider Shamanic traditions as an extension as a continuity of its past heritage. Abrahamic cult or doctrinal religions has been responsible for the 95 percent of genocides all across the globe. ईसाईयत एक अब्राहमिक मज़हब है और एक गाड और एक किताब और एक पैगम्बर को मानते हैं यह खतना मे विश्वास करते हैं और टोपी पहनते हैं जन्नत जहन्नुम की अवधारणा मे विश्वास करते हैं और जो ईनके गाड बाईबल जीसस नाम के पैगम्बर को नहीं मानता है उसको वे शैतान कहते हैं और शैतान फिर कत्ल के योग्य है तभी फिर यहोवा गाड अर्थात जीसस गाड खुश होगा यह एक वास्तविक सच्चाई है जबकि सनातन धर्म प्रकृति से जुड़ा हुआ एक धर्म है सनातन धर्म मे 33 देवी-देवताओं की पूजा होती है और वेदों उपनिषदों रामायण महाभारत अठारह पुराणों गीता आयुर्वेद ज्योतिष जैसे बहुत से ग्रंथ होते हैं इनमें से किसी भी ग्रंथ को पड़ सकते हैं और उसका अनुसरण कर सकते हैं सनातन धर्म मे प्रकृति पशु पक्षियों जीव जंतुओं पर्यावरण मानव के कल्याण की बात की गई है और यह प्रकृति से जुड़ा हुआ धर्म है सनातन धर्म में शवों का अंतिम संस्कार आग मे इसलिए किया जाता है ताकि शव के साथ ढेर सारे बीमारी के वायरस बैक्टीरिया नष्ट हो जातें हैं और हवा मे फैले हुए वायरस बैक्टीरिया भी नष्ट हो जाते हैं और इससे महामरी भी नहीं फैलती है और खेती-बाड़ी उद्योगों के लिए जमीन भी आसानी से उपलब्ध भी हो जाती है और जमीन की भी बचत होती है शरीर पांच तत्वों का बना होता है जैसे पृथ्वी अग्नि वायु आकाश जल अंत शव को जलाने से यह शरीर पांच तत्वों मे विलीन हो जाता है जबकि शवों को गाड़ने से पर्यावरण भी प्रदूषित होता है क्योंकि शवों के साथ बीमारी के वायरस बैक्टीरिया भी होते हैं जो गाड़ने से हवा पानी जमीन के रास्ते यह वायरस बैक्टीरिया फ़ैल जाते हैं और महामंरी भी फैलाते हैं और फिर शवों को जमीन मे गाड़ने से जमीन भी कम हो जाती है और ईसके लिए फिर जमीन खरीदनी भी पड़ती है और कब्र बनाने का खर्चा भी अलग से आता है और ग़रीब आदमी के लिए अपने प्रियजनों के शवों के गाड़ने का खर्चा भी बहुत महंगा पड़ता है और वह यह खर्चा भी सहन नहीं कर पाता है जबकि सनातन धर्म मे मात्र कुछ हज़ार या थोड़े से रुपए मे शवों का अंतिम संस्कार हो जाता है इसलिए सनातन धर्म के ऋषियों ने बहुत सोच समझकर वैज्ञानिक तरीके से शवों का अग्नि संस्कार करने को कहा गया जिसका पालन अब दुनिया के बहुत से देश कर रहे हैं जहां पर शवो को गाड़ने की बजाय शवों को अब शमशान घंटों मे जला दिया जाता है चीन यूरोप अमेरिका और पश्चिमी देशों मे अब हिन्दुओं की तरह वहां के लोग शवों को जलाने लगें है यह एक वास्तविक सच्चाई है सनातन धर्म एक वैज्ञानिक धर्म है जिसको अब आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक भी मान रहे हैं

Dharmas (Bauddha, Vaishnav, Shaiva, Jain, Tantra, Sikh, etc.) are about seeking truth ‘Satya’ and disciplines of inner progress ‘Yoga.’ Dharmas overlap, learn from each other, and don’t fight. Hinduism is the collection of all the Dharmas evolved in our region. It is a geographical definition, not doctrinal. The central theme of Dharmas is inner and outer Peace. Dharmas are different spiritual paths \ margas \ tao \ways \ disciplines. We, Hindus, go to and pray in all temples \monasteries \ gurudwaras. It is up to an individual to be interested or practice any, all, or none; or specialize in any particular path.
Religions (Christianity, Islam, Communism, Fascism, etc.) are brainwashing systems for social control. Each claims exclusive truth, all others evil, and assumes divine right and duty to attack others. Violence is the central theme. Religions are sets of doctrines to believe and sets of commandments to obey, without any questions. This is militarization of society which is the totalitarian control of individuals leading to 'we vs. they', 'we are superior', ‘misogyny’, and 'violence.’
Christianity and Hinduism both are not religions.. Both are culture.. Yes Gods are different. In Hinduism you have to earn purity by your karma which is impossible for many.. While Christianity is beleive in karma of Jesus and turn away from prohibited karmas to get in to 100 purity.. Thats the fundamental difference..
Christianity is not a religion? The word religion was derived from the latin word religaire meaning to be bound (preferrably by a book with some non exitent transcendent "god"s commandments). Point is as long as you have a god, his commandemnts and organized institutions like the church. Christianity is a religion.
in fact all 3 ABRAHAMIC religions are "religions of books". But HIndu tradition is not. There is no concept of god or heaven or hell in HIndu tradition.
None of the ABRAHAMIC religions were built around any well validted metaphysics. But HIndu/Vedic tradition was built around vedic metaphysics which can be validated by logic, double slit quantum experiment and embodied experience.
