That H5 gets me the sound and stereo image I'm looking for. of course I sold all my nicer mics when I stepped away from running my full recording studio not long before I found myself on this journey haha But it has forced me to think differently about how I approach recoding my stuff and I'm happy with it for now!

Thank you! They are not a matched set. Just ones I have slowly pieced together individually that work well together. Since they are hand made, you know how hard it can be to have different ones from different places play well together in a pleasing way 😅
Thank you! The ones in this video range from 5.5 to 11.5 inches. Though since they are handmade, just looking for one a similar size won’t get you the same sound. But a good rule of thumb is the larger the bowl, the more low frequency you can pull from it

It's my understanding the brass in these bowls is not 'tunable'- no specific note. The crystal bowls on the other hand, are. 🙏
