I agree, I think - like in any kind of relationship. It takes some time before you know who you are in it. A quiet confidence is often a lot louder than someone who tries to shove it down your throat. I feel a LOT of beauty You Tubers all try and be the same person in their videos. It's exhausting , and kind of sad. The "edit in the blooper at the beginning" (I"m quirky), "here's me pulling a funny face" (I'm down to earth).. here's an edit of me dancing" (I have a party girl side) - I really value when someone just exhales and is themselves. No over the top acting, no overt hyperbole and OMG I LOVE THIS PRODUCT IT's MY HG!!! - just talking to me like a normal person. Its so much nicer and such a breath of fresh air! Nice work, Chloe!

YES!! i play volleyball in a team and I always wear a full face of make up. The amount of make up that the rest of my team has on is less than the make up on my face :D they wear hardly any Im not going anywhere without make up, and I hate people that cant accept it, it annoys me so much:D

And yes you will see me in the mall, supermarket, during the day in cafe with full face of makeup..not superdark and evening one but yes. will everythin (foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara) and not matte natural eyeshadow shades:)) .and before I used to wear darker eye make-up:)
People who feel the need to denounce and insult others for different taste in makeup or clothing should take a deep breath and shut their mouth. Unless it's a matter of dresscode (like job interview or theatre), you can wear whatever the fuck you want. I like wearing dark eyeshadows at school (college) and so on and I dont give a damn. It's a way of expressing my personality and it's soooo funny. :D

Why is it on YT (or the general online beauty world), tons of people say that the dewy look is natural, but when I look at the people around me who don't wear a stitch of makeup, their skin is actually matte, no dew at all unless they're sweaty/oily from exercise or any intense humidity/sun? Having dew actually makes most of us look more "un-clean". It's so strange and I can never get my head around it! Wonder if its because the people around me are Asian and Asian features (rounder) generally don't do well with dewy skin as much as Caucasian features (sharper). Then again, while I would probably still do a light layer of powder on myself, I love the tips you gave, especially for the lashes! I will definitely be checking more Australis products x
I think the dewy look just helps to reflect the light. Its less obvious that you are wearing makeup when the light gets not sunk in to your face. The matte look often looks to powdery i think, i prefer the dewy look as well because i think it looks muuuuch more natural on me!

I usually just use translucent/light powders that mattify without adding that effect so that didn't cross my mind! Unfortunately I've seen many who 'overcompensate' and become so dewy it's unnatural, especially with the dewy look being so popular these days. :\ It definitely takes some skill to achieve the right balance!

I think there are just some people who don't want to go out totally bare faced, but also don't feel like being judged for the makeup they wear. So this video where she shows the light makeup look is kinda like the middle ground, or the happy compromise for those people

Thanks for this. I've got pretty good skin I think but I'm getting a tad older now and I'm starting to look less fresh faced! I've never worn makeup for an every day thing, I wear it when I go out but I'm a little self conscious of wearing it every day just because I never really have apart from a slick of mascara and lip gloss. I want my face to look fresh and smooth but without suddenly going to work in a full face of makeup. So yea. This is really helpful!

my tip is to wear a brown mascara. I often use it in the summer, when I want a natural look. And since I just want a regular mascara with no volume or length "powers", they often come very cheap. :)

I would buy some oil sheets and pad them on your face before powdering - I have really oily skin and that helps me. I use a oil sheet before my loose powder after foundation and then later in the day when I touch up. I know you didn't ask me, but just thought I would answer anyway😊

Hi I have some natural remedies you can use to lighten your lips to a pink rosy colour. Firstly Honey has amazing properties to rejeuvanate the lips and bring back moisture but mixing honey with lemon and applying is the perfect combination. The lemon will naturally lighten lips, as it does in hair, so smack some of this on in the morning and go out in the sun! Hope this helped xxx

I used to make up at the gym because my face get so red, I look like Tinkerbell when she is mad, so with a good foundation people don't ask me anymore if I am ok. And of course, after the workout you remove your makeup, is not like you're going to the party with it.

Firstly Honey has amazing properties to rejeuvanate the lips and bring back moisture but mixing honey with lemon and applying is the perfect combination. The lemon will naturally lighten lips, as it does in hair, so smack some of this on in the morning and go out in the sun! Hope this helped xxx
