  • This video shows a great example of a strategic session we organized for «METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine» on 22-23 January 2022.
    Session targets:
    • Develop Marketing strategy and action plan for 2 years (2022+)
    • Formulate mission, roles, and functionality of the marketing department
    Session participants: Marketing team of 10 people together with CMO Natalia Kosarevich
    Facilitator and session scenario designer - Anna Klymenko
    Session results achieved:
    • Formulated a new inspirational role and mission of the marketing department
    • Determined strategic marketing targets which are strongly connected with the company's long-term business strategy
    • Agreed on the necessary functionality of marketing department focused on strategic targets achievement
    • Developed 15 focus projects for 2022+
    Methods used:
    1. PinPoint and TOP facilitation techniques for collaboration on sticky walls
    2. Coaching instruments for reflection and deep group discussions
    3. Mentimeter online board for voting
    Key success factor was the deep dive into ongoing business and thorough preparation of all marketing team BEFORE the session. Each team member prepared an analysis of his projects and results. CMO organized a business review where each member shared his presentations with colleagues. Thus, all participants came to the strategic session with the unified understanding of business results, challenges and opportunities.
    That was the most appropriate background for development effective marketing strategy and action plan.
