Love your stuff, thanks for all the advice over the years. So I’m in a keeper by round league and I went with Joker, Tatum, Trae with my top 3 picks… not a lot of value when there are teams keeping guys like Chet in the 9th, but I’ve got a strong base so we’re gonna try to draft our best around that. I traded away my 4th, so my first pick will be in the 5th and here are the top guys that I’m projecting to be around. That’s the context, H2H cat, 12 team league. Out of these guys, who do you take to compliment those other guys? Essentially I’m asking based on your knowledge of how the rest of the draft shakes out after round 5, am I adding rbds, assts, or scoring here? Cam Thomas, Nurkic, Capela, Herro, Giddey, Beal, Russell. Kuzma is interesting with both scoring and rbds, and Hartenstein as well. Also Porzingis maybe, but also maybe too much of a reach at 5. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Hey man, first off thanks for your support over the years -really really appreciate it. Based on your 3 keepers, your team’s strongest categories are scoring and ast. One option I would consider is to build off those stats, and try to target them as much as possible with my earlier picks Those categories dry up fast in drafts. So if you can land a few high ast or ppg guys, your team should be pretty dominant in those cats (granted your big 3 stays healthy all year). However, Jokic is an untraditional big with weak blocks and rebs averages. So I understand the Porzingis pick, especially if you want him to mitigate Joker's shortcomings. There are also not too many guys who can out block him, so if Porzingis stays healthy he could carry your team in that category all year. Rebounding is much easier to find later in the drafts/waivers. I personally wouldn’t chase too many high reb players with my early picks. Since many of them are one dimensional, and gives you below average numbers in important cats like 3pts, ppgs, ast, FT%.
Lamelo is the much better player on a per game basis but availability is a concern. If I were to take the risk, I would maybe ask if they are willing to throw in another extra player in trade as security.
Hey good video thanks for the tips. I'm a Raptors fan (ya I know ugly) but I'm steering clear of Gradey Dick. He just doesn't have any peripherals like a poor man's Gary Trent Jr. What do you think about Scottie Pippen Jr. as a deep sleeper pick? Perhaps not enough minutes to be impactful but Morant is always a risk to miss games.
@@fantasyguru26 yes I would take a flier on Pippen Jr especially in deeper leagues. Sure Morant is there, but the minute he gets injured I definitely wouldn’t mind going after Pippen Jr
Should I keep Scoot or Schroder? 9cat h2h, finished my draft and ended with only one SF, I need another looking at Noah Clowney or Risacher. Preseason scoot has looked atrocious but usually i’d keep scoot for an upside angle.
Hey bro i started a Fantasy League w my friends a couple days ago, i’m brand new to this Fantasy League shit so I was hoping you could tell me if you see any player in my roster you think i should look to trade later on or replace, i have pretty good ball knowledge but im new to Fantasy League like I said, hopefully you can give me some insight. This is the Roster I drafted: 1. Jrue Holiday 2.Derrick White 3.Jaylen Brown 4. Jayson Tatum 5. Naz Reid 6. Reed Sheppard 7. Scottie Barnes 8. Cade Cunningham 9. Brandon Miller 10. Domatas Sabonis 11. Daniel Gafford 12. Zach Risacher 13. Amen Thompson
Hey man, need some more context. What type of league you play in ? how many teams? One thing I noticed, I don't recommend having too many players from 1 team. Looks like you have 4 Celtics. Your team will be short-handed for several weeks throughout the season. Also if BOS has a soft schedule during your 2-3 fantasy playoff weeks, your team will be at a huge man-games disadvantage. Double check your leagues' playoff schedule to see if Boston's plays at least 3 games.
What's up man, if you see this I'm pretty new to basketball fantasy and don't watch a lot of basketball but I have some knowledge so I'm not completely naive to it. But I need advice on players to lookout for since Jokic, Luka, Giannis, and players like that are high value players so I was looking for sleeper picks that I'd be able to get away with that can still bring good value to my team that way I don't get stomped on in my league. If you could give me more advice on things about fantasy basketball in general that'd be very helpful!
@@mustysimp3643 one thing I would suggest is to pay super close attention to waivers early on. Every year , 2-3 sleepers or breakout player emerge and can be had for nothing from there
Is Brandin Podziemski someone worth drafting?
He might be worth it in deeper leagues but with late pick
I got Kevin Porter Jr. do not sleep on this guy this season.
Ya I'm definetly gonna pick him up in few leagues. See what happens

Dyson, Clowney, KPJ.

I have Jalen green and someone is trying to trade me lamelo ball for him. Should I make the trade or keep green over ball?
I'd keep Green. What good is a player who can't stay healthy? Ball has played 58 games over the past two seasons. Green has played 158.
Lamelo is the much better player on a per game basis but availability is a concern. If I were to take the risk, I would maybe ask if they are willing to throw in another extra player in trade as security.
Big facts. The availability is a big concern. I’ll counter offer with another player to make up for that. Thanks for the input!
@@giovanniperez3168 yes good time to buy low on Ball. Try to see if you can get a good deal 👍
Man.....ill trade Green for Ball in a heartbeat. Lamelo will kill it.

Personally, I would keep Scoot for upside, since we already know what Schroeder is. I think Scoot gets better as season goes on.
