I have a 14k gold 6mm bracelet from Jacoje and a 10mm 18k gold bracelet from daniel jewelry, both box locks. I've never had a problem with them. I'm have a couple of your chains but I'm a wait for the 5mm. 10mm in a necklace is to big for me. I'm willing to wait for the 5mm the style and quality of your jewelry is by far the best I have come across Silver jewelry from other shops looks a little cheap
They look good, but that tension is a problem with those locks. Some People can just get 2” plus longer size that they can just put over they head so they won’t have to open and close a lot.
Ive bought from 3 different manufacturers, same common theme. I should have a new design in 1-2 months but it might be the same? true! bring back the longer chains! lol everyone wants short now.

I had a handmade and it was definitely an issue! The chain showed up with no pressure to lock. It was so bad that the figure 8 couldn't even hod the lock. Looking forward to the 12.5mm being available.
Buy from a better silversmith then I've been wearing mine for months and months with no issues as long as you know how to maintain the pressure on the lock it should work just fine I like to show off the box lock it'd be nice if luke brought them back until then I won't be able to get a Cuban Link from him

Im gona order one or even two of your cubans as soon as they drop. Im still wishn you would get some pendants like idk dog tags would be great. Keep up the great work!
Create video the chains look like they can hold up I’ve had one similar to it and they hold up good mine still feels solid to this day after 2 years but mann those fígaros you gotta do a review on those ASAP 👀👀 keep up the good work!
I have had this type of lock where it’s been great for years now and I have other that lasted 30 days also my biggest issue of the Box sticks out way to far and irritates my neck they need to make it flatter then it is to avoid the scratches and constant flipping lol f the chain
Something a lot of people don't talk about, it feels bulky on the back of your neck depending on the size of the chain and Box lock sometimes they even poke and it's annoying.

My 7mm miami cuban has a lobster clasp, to me lobster clasps are the absolute most secure , especially if it has a soldered jump ring

I wouldn’t be prying the box lock tongue apart as it will only weaken the metal. Possibly have a metal wafer added to it will give better tension.

Tell your manufacturer to add some alloy into the lock only. There will be no problem.

If they made the part that slides in thicker instead of thin sheet metal size silver there would be No need to adjust anything.
The use of a lobster clasp would be alot more durable but wouldn't be cuban style.
