I mean his license plate say OWNBAJA who else could say that nobody But Robby ...and he does own it . he also once said hes going to push the trucks as hard as he can and if he doesnt win its because the truck broke and for him doing everything on his own trucks is NOT HIS DOWN FALL

Pretty cool Robby threw compliments to Geiser and RPM. It's smart to admit this. Robby is a GREAT Baja driver. He will start winning if he continues with RPM. Can't do everything yourself. That's been Robby's downfall in recent years. But can't knock his "go for it" attitude either. Nothing ventured nothing gained, right Robby? Just tough to be Ferry Porsche in 2019.

Everything robby does is top notch and is at at the same level as rpm or better How could you say that is his down fall i just think the reason he doesnt win is because he pushes the truck or trucks harder then anyone else and to building and doing everything your self is not his down fall i mean the guy could win any given race he coyld even win in his mid engine tt

@@manueltovar9963 Consider his record for past 5-7 years. He did well driving the RPM Truggy a few years ago. Then went back to his truck. Look at the records. Lots of mechanicals. Lots of DNF's. Sure many of the parts are the same, or are constructed similarly. The differences between Robby's top notch shop and team and RPM/Gieser's top notch team are NOT easily spotted by fan from the outside. But there are differences, and these differences show up in the race results. Let's look at race results if you want to continue to have a friendly argument.

@@timkuitems4431 im not yryinf to take anything from gieser i know they pretty much have become the standard in the top level but again. Robbys truck is at the same level they use the same parts and those trucks could break just the same i think its more luck bad or good but not because of weaker equipment robby gordon trucks or special and to me personally a step above the gieser rpm trucks

The Baja 400 is a new SCORE event. This was the first year they held it. The finishing order at the 400 determines your start position at the Baja 1000.

I'd imagine that the rocks can take chunks out of a spinning tire, no matter how well it's made. I cut some circles on a dirt road and tore some chunks out within less than 20 minutes of screwing around. The desert is unforgiving.

@@joewoodchuck3824 Kind of relevant maybe. The old man Carl that does the Ezbererg Hard Enduro made a statement on one of Grahm Jarvis wins and it stuck with me. A reporter walked up to him and asked him about "Carls dinner", and how Jarvis navigated through it. Carl was looking at his back tire in the winners podium and he said.... "There it is. This is a lot why he wins. He takes care of his tire. Look at all the young bucks, spinning in the gravel the whole way. Some of them don't have a back tire left. The nobbies are gone. Look at his tire.... ". It was something to that affect. Anyhow, dirt and rocks can eat up a tire. Keeping an edge on those nobbies is important, regardless of how many wheels are on the ground.
