  • LETS TAKE IT OUTSIDE! Pro Motocross is here and Ping, Bruce and J-Law are ready to bring you the facts! The 250 Championship is wide open. Will Haiden Deegan grab a title? Can Tom Vialle and RJ Hampshire carry their momentum from SX into the outdoors? That leaves the biggest question: Will Jett Lawrence become the first to person to claim back-to-back perfect season?

    If chase and Dylan couldn’t beat Jett last year at all! Why do you think they’ll beat him this year ?

    • @chrisbuehler6868
      @chrisbuehler6868 Місяць тому +2

      Yeah now Jett has a full year on the 450. He's going to be even better than last summer. His mx starts are insane. He holeshots every moto. How do you beat him? And I like Chase but I'm a realist

    • @seanhaberman4619

      Jett will definitely dominate both of them for the title. But i do see him losing a couple of motos. No matter how good you are, a perfect season does require some luck. There's just too many things that can go wrong, and he's more likely than not to have an issue.

    Unless there's a mudder, I don't see any logical reason to think this season would go any differently for Jett than last season. How many riders are worse their 2nd season on the same bike without any injuries than their rookie season? Jett is likely stronger and more fit on the 450 now, has immense confidence, and logic would only dictate that it will be even easier for Jett this season. None of those other riders are going to magically find way more speed from last season. I would be very surprised to see Chase be as fast on the KTM as he was on the Honda, and he wasn't fast enough on the Honda. I guarantee you Jett is in Sexton's head big time as well. Dylan will likely be better than last season, but I just don't see him challenging Jett. Dylan is 29 now, and has had numerous serious injuries since he last won the MX championship. I doubt he will be willing to hang it out like he did before.

    It seems by mid season it always becomes a 2 man battle, 2 guys break away from the pack and go 1-2 the whole second half of the season. The first 3-4 rounds are the only truly competitive races which different winners and everyone gives 100%

    Remember Deegz at washugal? He was ripping. 1 deegz, 2 Hampshire, Vialle, Savatgy, shimoda, Levi

    • @jpesicka999
      @jpesicka999 Місяць тому +1

      Yeah but I don’t think RJ gets 2nd even though he is ripping you got to stay on the bike most of the season to get 2nd idk if he will be carry that momentum and be as crazy consistent as he was in SX. Outdoors he’s been more like a 1-11 guy instead of a 1-1 guy, much like Levi

    JLaw i hear you with the Savatgy pick. I think he is a sleeper mate and people arent giving him the respect he deserves. I dont know about a title but i think he steals some podiums from the top guys and keeps the points interesting come back end of the outdoor season. The Triumph has already proven itself outdoors in MXGP .

    My surprises were Kitchen (didn't think he'd do that good so soon since he was off and on last year outdoors), and Hunter, but only because he wasn't thought of as a bigger threat. I think he's really the guy that could take one from his brother, even more so that Chase.
    Oh, tried that Ketone IQ stuff. Umm....won't be re-ordering. It's an extremely high priced energy drink (shot), and little more. Kinda works, kinda doesn't. Definitely too expensive. Just my opinion...

    Not sure you can say rain stops Jett at this point, outdoors his mud has been fine, i mean he won his class at MXDN on his first ever 450 appearance in the mud at Redbud, what was he 1-2 on the day. Including riding around the outside of Chase when he was aruguably at his peak having just been within 1 point of Tomac in the final round.
    As for Jett vs Chase at Pala last year that was his AMA MX debut race so... Idk the odds are in his favor

    If Shimoda starts strong, I believe he can win this championship. His problem has been he always starts off slow and gets going by the end of the season, in 2022 he was able to edge out Hunter at the end to finish 2nd in points, and he smoked both Lawrence bros in the last moto of the year. Then he got hurt before SX, came back late and started off slow in outdoors. He has plenty of speed, he just has to have confidence in the beginning and go for it. I think it's gonna come down to Haiden vs Kitchen vs Shimoda for the title

    • @chrisbuehler6868
      @chrisbuehler6868 Місяць тому

      It just seems like he doesn't show up and start winning until he's already 60 points down. He's gotta be on the podium from the jump. His starts aren't good either and now he's on the Honda. The PC and Star bikes are faster. I think you're forgetting Vialle too. He's a world champ

    • @seanhaberman4619
      @seanhaberman4619 Місяць тому +1

      Jo is as fast as anyone when he's feeling it. If he can get it together in the first couple rounds he will be a serious contender.

    • @HeavyK_MXB
      @HeavyK_MXB Місяць тому

      @@chrisbuehler6868 he is a world champ but that didn't translate for him last year, he obviously improved a lot to win a SX championship, but I just don't think his speed will be at the level of Shimoda much less Deegan in outdoors, at least not consistently. I wanna see Shimoda do well, as well as some other guys, but tbh I think this is Deegans championship and the only way he doesn't win is if he beats himself

    • @chrisbuehler6868
      @chrisbuehler6868 Місяць тому

      @HeavyK_MXB the GP guys usually take a year to get adjusted to the Nationals. Roczen got smoked his first summer here. They get 2 days to learn the tracks in the GPs. The Nationals they get a couple 15min practices. He improved so much in sx he won the title. He'll be a threat this summer imo. He'll for sure be starting at the front consistently. Shimoda better get his starts sorted out
