You must of forgot Chris Jericho was a big part of the attitude era, and the transition to the WWE. Despite him being a jerk outside of the ring. Chris Jericho had plenty of talent in. He made great rivalries with legends such as taker, Kurt, the rock, triple h. Him putting over Stephanie McMahon headlights. Him and the rock mic battles, him and Austin mic battles. The list goes on. He made us care about triple h after he returned from that year long knee injury. And Chris was undisputed champion at the time. He carried Kevin Owens universal championship run. He made a inanimate object list go over like a babyface while being a heel. He even made (John moxley) look good. He got us to buy into edge and his spear chants, leading into their world heavyweight championship match, and that was before edge announcement about retiring. When big show was on his last true run in the WWE, and nobody cared. But him and Chris Jericho as undisputed tag champions made us care. I don't follow his aew career, but I'm certain in the beginning when they started. Chris Jericho was helping put light on some unknown talent there too. But the man had definitely done a lot

I have seen a Mark Henry documentary before. It wasn’t A&E but it covered his life well. Search for it.
Roman's done a great job. Took a while for him to get to where he's at now because you had to see his growth; but it's worked. He's elevated and made everyone around him relevant, even those not in the ring with him, because of this Bloodline faction.
lets not forget paul heyman, working with the bloodline is probably his best work of his career..

Hulk Hogan did exactly what they discussed. He was cheered more as Hollywood than he was Hulk Hogan in WCW. The NWO shirts outsold everyone and everything else especially in 96 into 97. Mark and Bubba were in WWF and didn’t see it. Roman is the best today, but Hulk did whatever Ric Flair or Undertaker did he just wasn’t technically savy but the greatest draw in wrestling history up until today. When Roman retires, he will be the top guy of all time overall, for now enjoy the moment because he is magic.

Difference is Brock was a legitimate badass and it was perfectly obvious. It took a well written storyline and a willingness for Roman to go heel to make him APPEAR like a badass.
But there's no forgetting him saying "sufferin succotach" or showing him having a tea party with his kid (which is perfectly fine IRL, but not to be shown on WWE TV)
@@chuckles9767 it's been almost 4 years. Roman has held the belt long enough. And if he is barely there anyway, which has marred a fantastic storyline and title run. I want to see how dangerous Roman can be without the title and how desperate he is to get it back. Wouldn't that be an interesting change in status quo?
@@chuckles9767 4 years is long enough. They should have done Rock vs Roman last year where it would have made more sense. Rock vs Roman doesn't need a title, especially since we know who would win. Besides, if this is such a great story, why rush such a big match? Let it have a build so the payoff is awesome and Rock can get in better ring shape. Plus, Roman shouldn't need a title to stay relevant. There are so many more stories that can be told within the Bloodline after he loses.
Plus, who cares if Roman dethrones Hogan? He still won't surpass Sanmartino.
And Roman vs Rock didn't happen this year was because people wanted change. Don't get the fans invested in Cody and then kill his title push at the 10th hour. Finish that story so that other main eventers have a chance.

I agree Roman has been great and there's a solid argument for him as Mt. Rushmore. But let's not act like he's been carrying the company for nine years. He just started getting over four years ago, prior to that he was given victories in WM main events with Triple H and Undertaker, as well as several victories against every active legend at the time, Cena, Brock, Randy, Kane, Big Show, Jericho everyone possible and still couldn't get over. If half the investments made into Roman is made into Cody, Cody will be a much bigger star. Last year Cody surpassed Roman in merch sales without even being champion. Kids love the hell out of him. And he's the face of 2K and its still selling out. Babyface always do the best business, Roman has been the exception but Cody will do better if he's the one to take him down.
Hunter also got 2 Hall of Fame talent over in Randy and batista, and ppl like road dogg, Billy gunn, pac all awesome talent but as soon as there safety net went in hunter, backing on himself to get over like the rock did nation both factions crumbled to dust, hhh and the rock give there factions chance to get over and evolve but neither did where as hunter and rock, morphed in to the game, and the great one

How many Title Defenses in his reign? Fewer Title Defense in one year than Ric Flair would have in a Month, when Flair was The NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Fewer Title Defenses than most of the Champions whose reigns Reigns has passed.
Cena run in 07 was legendary not to mention the legendary matches he had on raw & ppv with RKo

WWE has never had a storyline like The Bloodline in years!!! Roman, Heyman, The Usos and Solo should be given their flowers because of what theyve done the last 3 years. All the wrestlers involved in the storyline have been amazing and have made WWE big time!!

@victorike3102 Actually i understand english and Henry's point just fine. He said this version of Roman is the only wrestler besides Flair to get cheers and boos at the same time meaning no one was quiet in the crowd and just as much as people love them they hated them. I pointed out not only another version of Rock but other wrestlers at points of there careers and theres even more than that.

Roman has only had an “aura” since the last few years as the Tribal Chief. - For the decade before that he was a nobody. - Hulk Hogan was the biggest wrestling star in the world even before he beat Iron Sheik for the WWF championship.
Roman is so Good. My favorite part is when he is never at live shows or TV. He beat everyone so bad that everyone became a mid-card. It came to the point that Roman had no one else to beat. It took 2 years for the main roster to be rebuilt.

This is what I hate about Cody's promos. Dusty knew Ric was the one moving the business and was climbing higher all time, but he never conceded to Ric being better than him on the mic cause they were opposite characters and he wanted to reward the fan loyalty, its the same case for Roman and Cody. Fans want Cody to win and be the next face of the company yet all he keeps talking about is how Roman is better than him and is this generation's Austin, Hogan, and is wishing Roman good luck and tries to shake his hand???🤦♂🤦♂
I don't want my babyface to be an ass kissing diplomat with no passion against his opponent. Cody is really making me regret all the time we spent with the #WeWantCody movement. He better make things right before Mania cause he's honestly getting really hard to root for.

I really don't understand people saying anybodys title reign is an accomplishment. If it was written for you to win for 1,000+ whatever days then what the hell did you accomplish?
He was champion for that long and people haven’t started getting tired of him since like 2 months ago. If you can keep people invested in your character as a world champion than you deserve to have the belt. Plain and simple.

Do people complaining about the lack of title defences realise that approximately 50 title defences in 1300 days averages out at one title defence every 26 days.
Now, obviously, he hasn't been defending the titles every 26 days. But that also means there have been times when he's defended the title more than once within 26 days.
Now imagine if he HAD been defending the title EVERY 26 DAYS on tv for the past 1300 days and it was just win after win after win after win after win after win after win. AND imagine if they were clean??? Because everyone complains about "oh he never wins clean". Well done captain obvious.
If you got what you CLAIM you want, youd have had your tantrum about this reign 500 days in.
The reign has kept its momentum. Everytime a new VIABLE challenger arises people get excited and think they MIGHT or COULD win. Very few times in those 50ish defences has anyone thought the opponent SHOULD win. A handful of times max.
The title run has been well paced and well booked. For anyone claiming about the "always cheating to win" issue. Its not an issue. It happens for a reason.
A. He's a fucking heel. Have him beat all your favourites clean and see how you feel then. That does nothing for his opponents.
B. The cheating to win will be paid off in storyline when it comes full circle and suddenly he can't cheat to win.
The irony is in bloodline rules, the idea is now roman can do anything he wants and can cheat to win... the IRONY is... now people can get involved to STOP him from cheating to win. They heels wanted no holds barred. Its going to bite them in the ass.

“Roman Reigns was given everything he has in the WWE” has to be one of the weakest arguments against him. Many before and many after him have been given the ball and told to run, only to stumble and fall not two steps after, but Roman Reigns took the ball and became an international superstar and brought others with him to another level for a historic 4 year company high. Acknowledge him.
