  • In the midst of deaths and the threat of international sanctions 'TV Eye's Julian Manyon' is in South Africa, where he speaks to both sides, including those wishing to take a path of reconciliation and a path to peace - however with increase in demonstrations and violence, even they see the path as a difficult one.

We as coloured people were living the anti apartheid struggle..here is the evidence. We were leading the struggle. But today government decided coloureds should get minimal jobs. Our townships are flooded with drugs. Things are worse now😢

The ANC were given a goose that lays golden eggs, but they’ve chosen to eat the goose instead.

Sadly Mandela's vision of a Rainbow Nation built upon compassion, forgiveness, unity and equality didn't outlive him. The scars of the past and yearning for revenge was too great.

The reporting team should go visit South Africa today. The country is in a worse state today than it was under the National Party.

Do you want to break into a police vehicle and try to steal from it you’re going to get shot. Justified

This channel opened my eyes while I was growing up in the 70s and 80s. South Africa was on the brink then. Sad that the work of Mandela and Mbeki could not be carried on. I was angry because change was not going on as fast as I expected but I didn't realise with whom the real power sat and how the system really works. It's sad that the system has won with a crony compliant governmentin tow.

‘They’re not prepared to work, our boy just decided to take the weekend off’... like how are his working conditions! If he’s fed up he’ll leave

I am not sure of when this was but looking at model of cars used, it later took over twenty years for a free South Africa to be fulfilled

We had more money and a higher living standard under apartheid but we had no freedom or rights, rhodesia was the prime example of an african multicultural society. rhodesia followed south africas model but the president wasnt a racist. rhodesia was a genuine meritocracy, if only we followed their model, if only mugabe didnt destroy rhodesia
