That must have been one magical evening. Every single song from that session that is posted on You Tube is musically perfect and grabs at the heart and soul. I urge others to seek them out. The addition of Liam Maonlai is something they should consider making permanent, as he voice works so well with theirs. And by the way, what a wonderful sentiment to share and live by!
Foooor ever - one of the greatest songs - so well done & done & understood and tranferred and re-vamped and re-energized and ( oh this lovely female voice touch ... so daggering in da soul)
I think they are the only people i know of that are genuinely untouched by fame. like they are actually making music because its what they love to do, and not because of money or fame.
@jasonnwest , well put , thses guys are all passion and soul ........talent and inspiration that is so lacking in today`s pop/rock music , very refreshing
Please I'm looking for a song that featured in this episode, I remember it from years ago but it seems it has vanished from youtube :( I can't remember the name but I remember Glen playing that song that felt almost angry. If anyone remembers at the least the name of it I'll be eternally grateful.
I saw that someone said "no passion." Odd because, right now, I can think of no other performers/musicians/songwriters who display more enthusiasm and passion. Maybe one or two. But Liam and Glen are definately at the top of a very, very short list for unabated passion. Damien Rice would be another. There you have it.
@MsJCBurke Ah cutie that's not sad,in fact it is gorgeous.May you stay forever young--well he will because you and all that loved him will always remember it so :) In times of quiet reflection dwell upon he that loved you and forever will and if at all possible smile with the recollection of emotions the life ye shared brings.Time heals but deep scars never fade, however the joy of what was never fades either :) Live with the memory but remember with a smile hey!
Dylan's versions of the songs he has written are nearly always the definitive ones. But I must say that in this case, as with Hendrix's cover of "All Along the Watchtower," he was bested.
I learned to play & sing this song for my twin grandchildrens' 1st birthday. Such a treat to hear it done so beautifully!
Beautiful

So beautiful, I wonder if it is appropriate to play this song at my funeral?

Liam o maonlai is the frontman of the fantastic , Hothouse Flowers

that was really nice. i just wish Glen had gotten a verse of it to sing
Liam o' Maonlai is the best... i have a question: Where can i find the weinbach's grand piano for sale?
Go raibh maith agat Liam treasnu as an Gaeltacht le Liam Clancy...
no passion & its sounds like there is no meaning to the song but okish....6/10
