TRAVELER-FEATHER [Complete Jayfeather time travel themed Warriors MAP]

- Traveler-Feather is about the never ending time loop of pain and revenge that Jayfeather and Fallenleaves are trapped in until one of them finally decides to make a change. In this AU, Fallenleaves lives in modern day thunderclan and it's Fallenleaves who falls through the ice!
The mystery of the tunnels, Fallen leaves, Rock, and time travel have always been my favorite subplot of warrior cats. But despite all it's potential to be an interesting and compelling story, I've always felt let down by the direction that canon Warriors took. So I've been messing around with these story elements and trying to piece together some narrative I felt would meet that potential. Song choice after song choice, plot theme after plot theme, script after script... nothing seem to hit right until 3 years later... I finally came up with Traveler-Feather!

I’m not even joking this MAP brought me to tears. The concept of Jayfeather being Rock was outstanding and it worked so well, and the thought of the constant loop broke my heart. The seeking of vengeance from both sides bringing on the loop was such good storytelling, and the animators did so damn well portraying every emotion and scene. Well done CheetehZ, and well done to the participants, this was gorgeous, and I won’t be forgetting this.
i only read the first like two warriors series and even i teared up because thats how good the animation is

One thing I didn't notice in the first time is the fact of the start of the MAP is actually an auternative final where Fallenleafs doesn't save Rock and leaves him to die in the mud, my mind is 🤯🤯🤯 now

It's kinda crazy because I feel people forget that time travel was actually a thing in the series (not something made up with the whole Time Machine AU maps) And yes, it would have been cool to see more of it in the canon, but I suppose Jayfeather being able to go back in time was because he had the stars in his paws, he was an important cat of a prophecy.
Damnnn I didn't watch the whole storyboard nor read the script and BRO Jayfeather being Rock just caught me SO off-guard, that was the plot twist of the century holy shit
The was honestly what caught me off-guard aswell. In the middle of it I was like "Oh my god, they are killing eachother over and over again".

Ending the cycle, healing, hurting, revenge, the five stages of grief, everything about this map puts the greatest aspects of a cinematic masterpiece into a 2 minute work of art and I’m here for it
there really are undead zombie cats and time/space portals in the more recent series

Most AU maps are extremely hard to follow without reading paragraphs of context. This one is absolutely fantastic though, made sense all the way through and was gorgeous on top of it~
I think that Cheeteh is great at it in general
I just rewatched it a few times and I understood. I really love writing and I've seen many stories like this, but this one is really well written and pretty genius.

This is actually gorgeous. The animation, the smooth storytelling, and the way it portrayed Jayfeather’s panic/anger at Rock for not letting him risk himself for Fallenleaves was amazing. The fact Jayfeather’s blind and the frustration he must have felt to not be able to see Fallenleaves in the water, of how he must have dreaded him being so close to grab yet he literally couldn’t find him. And how he might have been able to save him had he not been dragged back up himself and the possible guilt, i can’t describe it but that part nearly brought me to tears. This MAP is definitely one of the best in Warriors animations.

This was actually amazing, Ik a lot of people already said this but the idea of Jayfeather actually being Rock was amazing, and each and every part was amazing! Each part of this MAP was just great!
I'm at a loss for words, every single part is just gorgeous and the editing and backgrounds AND LIGHTING AND ATMOSPHERE,, yet another masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!! All of these maps belong in warrior cat history

Wow. This might just be the best warrior cats map I’ve ever seen! The parts flow along so smoothly,,, the story was amazing and I wasn’t expecting that since I didn’t read the script for it. I don’t even need to now, this map perfectly portrays what’s going on and I don’t even need to read anything. You can tell how hard the hosts worked on this map and all the other participants too!! Outstanding job to everyone to participated in this map!!

I’m generally most of a ghost follower but I couldn’t just watch this map and say nothing about it. It is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking map I’ve ever seen. All the animators did an incredible work, I can’t even express the emotions it brought me, and the host always has so great ideas, we can never be disappointed. Seeing this project take form and ending up so amazing was a real pleasure. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to watch this incredible work of art ! 😍
5:41 I love how in this part it can look like they're both trying to reach each other on either side of their deaths. (Jayfeather trying to reach fallenleaves while he's drowning, but can also look like him falling from the cliff to the fire.)
I don't know if I have ever seen a Warriors MAP so creative and thought out, it actually made me think and analyze what was happening, and it was just an absolute gorgeous thing to watch. Thank you for all the talented animators who did so well to make this, and again kudos to Cheeteh for just making these stellar pieces of art. I hope to join one of these MAPs one day, but until then, keep up the great work!!

This MAP was very, very well done! Everyone who took part from the thumbnails to the animation, and the overall final product did a marvelous job and it is very impressive to see it all come together. To end off, I just wanted to give my congratulations to all who participated and say they should all be very proud of themselves and the work they have done. Never stop doing what you love cause your skills can contribute to more masterpieces such as this!!
This is the first time I’ve rewatched it in around a year, and holy shit it has me in tears all over again.
I seriously can not get over the cute interaction in the beginning, it was just too great! I just can't get over the creativity of this story! It's such a nice twist on things, that has both it's ups and downs! This was just so emotional, and it's truly hard to not shed a tear at the end! Amazing map everyone!
For a second I thought Fallenleaves was Flametail, did anybody else think that?
CHEEETZ it was such a great time being apart of this map and seeing everyone work on it and the progress has been so nice to see and seeing people work together is jsut a a a a athank you again for having me in the map
I have no words. The amount of effort, passion & love put into this is amazing! the story kind of reminds me of a post by captain-lovelace that goes: A time loop story takes the fact that any story can be reread, rewatched, relistened to forever without ever changing the end, and makes that a literal function of the story, the infinite repeatability becoming the driving factor. And then the story says "but what if the infinite repeating cycles did change? What if it was possible to get it right, to break the loop, to free yourself from the narrative? What if the universe (the reader, the author) wants you to get it right, no matter the cost?"
i'm happy they got it right in the end
That final shot almost had me in floods of tears, the whole MAP is a complete masterpiece
Little details that, the cats, even when alive dont end up "paw-touching" each other, fallenleaves try to help jayfeather up, by giving him his paw, jayfeather takes it away. jayfeather tries to touch his paw, fallenleaves takes it away. this map honestly made me cry, by how they were stuck on this forever and ever loop untill one decides to make a change, ending it and taking them out of the loop.
this map was such a joy to be a part of, everyone was so supportive and it was amazing to see it come together under such a short span of time!! thank you for having me among this amazing group of artists!

Lemme just say this.
This is the most gorgeous Warriors MAP i have ever seen - and I've seen a few. It has probably the most creative and moving concept - focusing on Jayfeather/Rock and Fallen Leaves' relationship, and the neverending loop of revenge and death,,, it has stunned me to words. The fact that Jay is Rock is such an intricate concept that really should be explored more in the books. The whole aesthetic, the designs, the pace, the animation,, just so fluid and beautiful. I can't wait to watch this over and over again

actually, this is one of the most beautiful and meaningful maps i’ve ever seen. the message in it is amazing.
I've grown up with Warrior cats fan made animation for years (I was 6 when I watched the first one, and now I'm 25 ) and I have to say, I've never been emotionally impacted this hard. I don't even know any of these characters, and yet I can feel tears coming by the end of this MAP. The choice of song, the animation, the story telling, everything is just perfect ! I'm so happy this MAP exists
This map is beautiful, everyone did such a good job. The plot is easy to follow and just so emotional. I absolutely love the repeated scenes but every time it's shown there's a slight difference to it, it's amazing!!!

This is AMAZING!! The way you show the cat's perspective in each transition shows a lot of the concept in the book. I honestly feel like Rock should've let JayFeather grab FlameTail and then drag him out but the decision is already made...
I'm in love with Jay's fur! right under his eyes, it's so amazing. This whole story is so beautiful. The scene at 1:44 where Jay is looking at the portal (made by Turnip Studios) is so incredible! We need that in a movie!

God I love this map, the concept behind it is amazing and the whole thing is gorgeous. Cheeteh z has never made a bad map, everything is so touching and beautiful I love it! The concept of Jay being Rock is so so cool and I'm in love with it, amazing work! All of the animators came together to create something amazing guided by one of the most creative and cool members of this community. Stunning work.

oh my god i had to watch it twice to understand the story and GOD when darkleaf and rock started fading away i actually started tearing up 😭 this was so beautiful !!!! i think this is the most peoplve ive seen work on a MAP project and everyone did fantastic with the sets and colors and just everything!!!

Im gonna say it straight, i teared up a little. The only other maps that gave me chills were probably rory and poor george, this is god tier. (Not tryna compare maps, just saying this is up with my personal favorites that made me feel a certain way)

This map is flipping beautiful, it left me genuinely feeling sad at the end, it’s definitely become one of my top favorite maps, everyone did so flipping amazing! Definitely one of the top warriors maps

This is a masterpiece! The outcome is spectacular, the plot and the animation is amazing. The animators and you have put a lot of hard work into this.
This MAP is absolutely stunning! I've never seen anything quite like it before, especially with Warriors. All of the animators did amazing and I loved every moment of it! The thumbnails are beautiful and the post-credit meme is golden.
I love how Jayfeather dosnt hesitate jumping into the freezing waters of leaf-bare to save Fallen leaves, especially since in the book Fallen Leaves tries to help jayfeather in the tunnels to save the windclan kits
This map has got me in TEARS. Every part is executed so well the visuals perfectly explain what's going on even if you didn't know the story. Bravo not only to the animators but to the storyboarder and scripter, as without a planned out storyboard this wouldn't work out so amazingly!

Ahh so I see, in the beginning Fallen Leaves lets Jayfeather die in the pool and the breaking of the cycle is when he decides to save him at the end. Plus his turning from a blue outline into a red outline showing that he's gonna show his younger self the portal to the fiery caves! And after Fallen Leaves leaves those caves after killing Jayfeather 2:13, it shows how it cycles back through from Fallen's parents, to him as a kit, to him and Jayfeather as it reaches that moment again.
This was so thought through!

There is SO MUCH in this MAP! The story is so enthralling, and each part tells it beautifully. Everyone involved (especially the host) clearly put a lot of time, thought, and talent into this. Cheers, this is awesome!

The fact that I wasn’t given the notification for this on my old account is very upsetting to me but the fact that I found it again at all makes up for it.
I haven’t had a warriors-related story bring out this much emotion in me since DOTC. Well done to everyone who worked on this. It’s a story that people can actually get attached to, which can’t be said for canon warriors as much as it used to be. This brings out the potential this part of the canon had if it were just a little different and was given just a bit more time. This is probably my favorite MAP of all time and I don’t plan on that changing any time soon. This is legitimately amazing and the art is so beautiful and everything looks amazing it’s all beyond what words can describe honestly. Good job, again, everyone who took part in this.
