The adding coffee to white paint tip, is amazing! I'm always looking for warm whites but I don't like them to be too yellow or too dark beige and it can be tricky, I usually end up mixing my own but mixing in a hint of sepia or burnt umber but the coffee made the perfect colour and everyone has it. I am actually painting the bedroom in my new house a white colour called Swiss Coffee which is pretty much exactly the colour you created here! I love all your pots and your designs esthetic too!
Thank you so much, I loved the result in terms of the colour as well and yes it is sometimes hard to find that perfect shade of warm white but with this trick you can adjust how white or beige you want it to be. Swiss coffee sounds great, I don't think I would be able to get that on the market here, which brand have you purchased?

Wow done very perfectly...So if we paint on a terracotta pot where the plant is directly planted in it... won’t the paint gets damaged with the dampness..
It is tough especially if the pot is wet... I would strongly suggest removing the plant to a temp container and then painting, if that's not possible, avoid water about 3 days before you paint and use synthetic paint not acrylic...then let it dry at least 24 hrs before you water :)
If using them as plant holders without directly potting it's ok not to seal but otherwise it is indeed the correct thing to seal first as well as after painting.
@@NestArtfully hi...how to seal the pot before and after painting....and do we need to soak the pot in water for sometime before painting...please suggest

Will the paint on the inside of the pots get absorbed by the plant?
Well from pure science perspective I guess some bits can get absorbed. However, if that worries you Chalk paint is a more breathable and friendly option to consider.
@@NestArtfully thanks for the answer. I hope you have a great day!
From. Where did you get these plants as quality seems good
Hi Rabia everything is locally purchased in Singapore and yes the quality of plants available here is extremely good absolutely droolworthy plants here...
Which paint so you use?? Is it acrylic?? Doesnt it warn off due to moisture??
here I have used chalk paint, you can give a coat of acrylic varnish to make it more water resistant
What is the color of the paint you used on the stencil pot ? Is it the same one you made in the beginning mixing coffee ?
Yes, what I had was white and that had a bluish tinge to it so I made it warmer with the coffee. Same paint, of course pattern area was just pure black.
What type of colour you have used for the white base coat?
I used acrylic paint but I mixed a little coffee to it to achieve the creamy tone...
Can you please guide from where I can get terracotta pot for painting ? Am from Mumbai.
I'm sure there are local nurseries and pottery shops where you can search for what you need. We always stumbled on shops locally.
❤️
Would love to know from where did you purchase the pots .. and also the painting techniques are wonderful
Hi Sneha, thank you so much, regarding the pots I got them at a local nursery here in Singapore, but India has some amazing pottery and terracotta products, back home I stumbled on some great shops on the highway to AP .... you can check locally im sure you'll get better ones!
Ma'am is the paint waterproof...because we also have to water plants on daily basis..so it'll be difficult if this will be washed off.
For daily schedule of watering, ideal paint is synthetic that is oil based as acrylic is water based and will need a few layers of sealant coats to work both on the inside and the outside. Synthetic paint will be the easier option.

Harsh sun light and rains etc might affect. Better for indoor or balcony decor

Hi, are the pints used waterproof ?
Hi Pooja, the paint per se is not waterproof as I used chalk paint, but you can apply a coat of varnish to make it water proof.
Which color are you using? And wont these color fade away with time on watering the plants?
I have used Acrylic paint (same paint I use on fabrics) with acrylic sealant , the sealant usually when used both on the inside and outside keeps the paint intact. Without the sealant the paint does tend to peel off after some time, especially if the inside of the pot is not painted...
