First of all many many congrats Anusha on hitting 30k subs !! Your progress and growth is commendable. I have to say it was wonderful to start the video with your fresh face and lovely smile..adds a lot of happy vibes to the video. Loved all your diy ideas over here, can't really point one. I am curious though, you said you sold one of your old creations, is there a forum where we can do that? I am sure there are many would be interested to get their hands on more of your products !!
Thank you so much Ragini, means so much coming from a fellow creator ❤ I started selling some small items like painted terracotta pots here locally in Singapore via Carousell app... people can sell both new and used products via the app, I've used it to buy as well as sell 😊
The company Mod Podge themselves come with sealants separately which you can check, acrylic varnish also is a sealant, depending on the project one can even use Epoxy Resin as a sealant.
Ur wrk is brilliant i jst lvd dem🥰jst want to ask in terracotta pots u put d plants directly or with a plastic pot inside? Nd do we need to make hole den in d pot?
Thank you so much and Terracotta pots usually come with hole to let water out and you can directly pot in them... but if you plan to paint them you'll have to seal the pot inside and outside... first a primer before the paint job and then a sealant to ensure the paint doesn't get stained and spoiled... otherwise you can use it as a planter to just hold the plant in the original plastic pot...
@@NestArtfully sure 👍🏻😊Thanku so much.. Nd yes ur wax flwrs diy was awesome I tried dem in dis Diwali Nd they turned out beautiful ☺️though I didnt have clrs wax so have to make white 1 Nd spray few of den in gold☺️
Thank you Anupama, actually the fabric mod podge, I've used an outdoor purpose mod podge which itself acts as a sealant so if using a similar mod podge then no need to go over it again with varnish.
At Singapore, I bought the small pots at Daiso as they are very cheap. You can also find them at IKEA and a few plant nurseries. For India, I have given a link on Amazon India in the description. Pls do check thanks
yes, it does... all forms of painting do, though some more than the others, chalk paint and water-based emulsion/primers and varnish are better, they still maintain some level of porosity... oil-based or synthetic completely block the porosity...
Actually chalk paint is good for a variety of surfaces including terracotta it allows for more breathability than acrylic paint too :) but yes we can use acrylic paint as well, i liked the creamy texture of chalk paint better

Loved all your creative work. I have been into decoupage lately. Can you suggest a good sealant that is water proof?
The company Mod Podge themselves come with sealants separately which you can check, acrylic varnish also is a sealant, depending on the project one can even use Epoxy Resin as a sealant.

Does the Painting on terracotta pots block the porousness of the pot?
yes, it does... all forms of painting do, though some more than the others, chalk paint and water-based emulsion/primers and varnish are better, they still maintain some level of porosity... oil-based or synthetic completely block the porosity...
