Ruined the evening?! Ruined the evening?! WTF is Stephen A. Smith talking about?! It was the best evening in Vikings history! Skol Vikings!
Minneapolis Sledding Club Stephen A Smith is a Vikings hater! Always has been
Not even a Vikings fan but SAS is a party pooper
When you go to hit stick the qb but switch to the CB lmfao
Lol
Man...
Makes sense... lol
Nick Whitby 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Facts bro
People getting mad because they wanted to see brees vs Big Ben or brees vs Brady. Hahaha way to go Jags and Vikings for crushing those dreams
Villageboy exactly I see a lot of people and the comments talking about Vikings ain't s***
I hope the jags beat the patroits fuck the patroits every year they in there it make superbowl look boring have a new team in there
Villageboy me personally, I'm tired of seeing the same old ass niggas playing deep in the playoffs...and I'm a jags fan lol.
Idc who does it...long as the pats lose
Alfred Baxter I actually want the Patriots to be in the Super Bowl so they can lose it will be even more funnier
"Ruining the evening"
That seems oftly bias from someone who is suppose to give an impartial view on games.
Yeah, an intelligent opinion would be nice, seeing as he's a so-called "professional".
Sarno Watson No one wants to see him.
There, I fixed it for you.
Side note: calling someone dumb while you use "u" and "ur" kind of negates your argument.
Sarno Watson, Stephen A. Smith is widely known as the most hated sports analyst around because he's usually an asshole and his view on things is usually idiotic.
I'm going to second D Beaton's remark that your poor spelling and and confrontational "alpha male" temperament kind of proves that you're the dumbest one in this comment thread
D Beaton but you're here literally watching him while saying no one watches him, so are you no one?
Keenum leading the Skol clap was a magical moment for sports in general. And I'm not even a Vikings fan in the least, don't really care about them at all, but that gave me chills
It ruined the evening? That was amazing. It made the week.
Made my day, night, woke up, day already made because I watched this video and read all the salty comments. 🤣🤣🤣
Haters gonna hate. Obvious Saints fan and Keenum hater. Watch keenum flick him off with his super bowl ring
He really meant to say it ruined his betting on the saints.
I'm not even a Vikings fan and thought it was amazing. Hell, I'm a Bears fan and should want the Vikes to lose, but that play was too great. 3 days later and I'm still watching coverage on it. I hope the Vikes join the legion of Super Bowl champions.
21 m00g According to who? Lol
LOL Stephen A's face when Max said Keenum is forreal
Shows you how much Smith knows.. LOL
Tom Reyes yeah so uhhhh how is Keemum doing in Denver?
@@pirulobandit3701 The moment the Vikings got rid of Case Keenum was jumping the shark and it's been a downward spiral ever since.
@@manzac112 this aged like milk
It would be cool to see 2new and fresh teams in the superbowl
Trey Price same im tired of the same fuckin teams hopefully its jags vs vikings
Trey Price agreed!!
It's a fluke. Those teams won't be back in 20 years
Yes, but not for ratings unfortunately.
Vikings v Jags would be great, guaranteed first time Superbowl winner. But as a realist, the Pats look too good atm and I feel that it will be a Vikings v Pats bowl and both going for history.....the Vikings being the first home team in the bowl and the Pats going for ring #6 as the Belicheck/Brady dynasty ends after the Superbowl for selling Jimmy G.
It may have ruined the evening for you but not for Vikings fans.
sfgiantsmadhatter ....wait till tomorrow night Eagles and thier home crowd will make what happen last week for vikings obsolete.
EAGLES 43 ..... VIKINGS 10
I hate the Vikings but lets be honest, nobody is going to score 43 points on Minnesota's defense.
Yeah, Eagles put up zero against the Cowboys I'm sure they can put up 43 against the Vikings. They may win but it's only going to be because of their defense.
+Date Rape Face Vikings defense isn't that dominate 25 points 3 Touchdowns on the #1 defense? get real
43 - 13 EAGLES
Stephen,
When you said that the touchdown throw from Case Keenum to Diggs "ruined the evening," you made me laugh. It was one of those slight nose exhale type laughs where you think, "wow, did this so called professional analyst just say that?" I thought you were being sarcastic. Do you even understand how you tried to smear one of the greatest last second plays in the history of my lifetime? By the way Mr. Smith, I am a 24 year old Vikings fan from the tundra of Duluth, MN. So yes, I might be a little biased, but I have experienced heartbreak multiple times in my life rooting for the Vikings. For a moment like the one last Sunday to go our way, it is surreal. I haven't experienced a feeling like that in my 24 years of existence, and for you to say it "ruined the evening" just makes me laugh. You wanted a Drew Brees story line right? You got something much better, you got a 3rd string QB, a 5th round WR, even more undrafted free agents, and a team with more balls than the inseam on you pleated pants has ever seen. We deserved that win, and we deserve this feeling that we are still feeling. Don't discredit this moment you rat.
Sincerely,
Buffalo Right Seven Heaven.
ik i'm 2 years late but that was the greatest comment i've ever read
Young Jit Jay couldn’t say it better myself
I agree with max. Case Keenum is legit , stop downing him.
he played ok but if Williams makes that tackle then Keenum has less then 300 yards passing with no touchdowns and an interception. They got some luck at the end.
Ryan133 .....no...Keenum is not legit....his receivers are but the guy has no arm nor velocity. Those passes were like hot air balloons.......he just threw the ball straight up in the air on several occasions. I like the win but that's the last game he will win
Jerome Williams He had a couple suspect passes only when he was pressured heavily by the defense. That's it.
Juan Hernandez Even if he made the tackle he could have been hit out of bounds or stepped out and we would have hit the field goal.
Juan Hernandez We won after the catch no mater what , he would have went out of bounds with 3 seconds to go in field goal range
Revenge from 2009
TopBrand I blame that whole game in farve and the defense
Yea they fuck up Bret Favre 2 ring glad they lost
mrcooldeadly85 different situation, we came back, if they did one thing right in the 4th the game was over, but somehow they did everything wrong that could have gone wrong to loose. That was the biggest breakdown in a professional sports championship ever.
Chris Bard are you joking? Brett Favre was phenomenal that game. He carried them that whole year with AP

@Rogue Comedian What do you mean?
I know I’m 3 years late, but the saints went to the Super Bowl one time
For everyone that is talking crap, Marcus Williams is a good safety. 2nd round pick out of Utah, 21-years old and played well all year. Its really upsetting how this one play will most likely be remembered for his whole life, even if he turns into the next Charles Woodson.
Ryan Brady dude he made the worst tackle in nfl history! Lmao looked stage as fuck. I wanted Vikings to win but damn that shit was hilarious how you miss that tackle. This will forever be his mark for the rest of his career.
Acepilot12345 Sean Payton told the DB’s don’t get a penalty that could possibly put the Vikings in position to hit the game winning field goal. He tried to lead with his shoulder, and missed.
tbh if he ends up as good as charles woodson, they'll forget about this
Shizzy 2x lmao yeah but anybody would have at least stopped right in front of him and then make the tackle. He just ran and dodged. Look comical.
Acepilot12345 he put his head, & anticipated where he was gonna be. With refs calling targeting calls on everything, you kinda have to anticipate.
This is why I hate plays like this. This wasn't a good play. It was an absolutely awful play defensively. It wasn't some heroic offensive effort. It was a pathetic defensive effort.
blake knight its still a good play even if it the safety missed the tackle but still need to give diggs credit.
"boy you missed the tackle by a mile" coach boone
Its crazy cause the guy that lost them the game, kind of brought them back into the game when he got that interception the first time they threw it to diggs and they were down 17-0.
It's unfortunate he will have this hanging over his head after being such a stud all year... and in this game (overall), as you absolutely pointed out.
That's true. Unfortunately for that dude, people will only remember the final play.
If Marcus Williams happens to become a All-Pro type safety and doesn’t make it into the HOF, this is probably the reason why.
Well the officials giving a 17 point cushion to the Vikings kind of lost them the game. The final play shouldnt have mattered since Saints clearly outplayed them. TDs called back, bs PI calls...the fix was in before the coin flip.
This man needs to stop living in the past it's time for some new faces to shine we don't want the same hall of famers every year
the hall of famers aka the over-the-hill gang. let the young bloods shine. I loved that TD, and Stephen A. can go suck a ... lemon.

That last play was a great throw, a great catch, and bad defense. One of the most exciting games I have ever seen. Wow.
Ruin the night? That basically made everyone in Minnesota overwhelmed with joy. I literally bounced off the walls when this happened. I actually did, I jumped up and down like an idiot and ran across the halls of my hotel screaming skol Vikings.
Love the way Diggs pulled off his helmet and tossed it. Like a cowboy after staying on a badass bull for 8 seconds. AWSOME STUFF
Sad loss for us last night. shit happens. Sucks but we will come back better next season! But congratulations to the Vikings on an insane win.

josh cohen don't get me wrong I'm mad but on a lucky play I have to give respect lol
Lucky was the Saints getting our Defense to get comfortable and coming back. But yes it was luck and it finally fell our way. My reaction made the local news lol!
This is great for the NFL we finally getting some new blood winning.Whoever makes it to the SB good for me.
Except deflatriots
Kamren Chase You deflate the ball against the jags it don't matter they run the ball well so it won't make a huge difference,And Blake has shown the ability to run.
Exactly
Stephen is a bona Fide hater. The man never has anything good to say. Like damn history is being made by the eagles and the Vikings upset the saints. That’s some good stuff. Cheer the hell up.
Ryan Berger he’s speaking the truth nobody wants to see that shit
Ricky1920 but the truth is that Diggs made the catch so close to the sideline it wouldve been easy for Diggs to make it out of bounds even if Williams had the discipline to keep play in front (and where he caught it was in FG range).
cbenji07 nobody wants to see that
Ryan Berger
He speak great things on the giants
Ricky1920 who gives a fuck what people want to see other than the NFL and these commentators who circle jerk it to Brady, Brees, and Matt Ryan highlights week in and week out?
FOH football is about the team. Offense, defense, special teams and coaching.
It’s about competing for the ultimate prize for fans and players, not what’s gonna pull in more viewers, fuck face
It's hilarious how he called the 4th and 10 to Snead a 'winning drive'. Sorry, buddy. Your team lost the game. It's a team effort, always, without question. The Saints lost that game when they allowed themselves to get down 17-0 in the first half. Man the fuck up and give the Vikings their due. They put it together and finally the ball bounced their way.
It "ruined the evening"? Oh boo freaking hoo. Who cares about a Brady/Brees matchup? Jesus Christ, it's more about matchups in sports that make it fun. I'm an Eagles fan, and I'm hoping the Vikings get destroyed on Sunday to Philly...but even I was very happy for them and excited to see that happen. I was hoping they'd win. I don't give a shit who their players are; all I care about is seeing teams that deserve to win...well, win! The Vikings, Jaguars, and Eagles have never won a Super Bowl. One of them definitely deserves it this season, and who their QB is shouldn't make one fucking difference. So knock it off.
Don't really know what ya mean about "deserve to win." to come back 17 down against a D like the Vikes, shutout in the first half, 2 defensive back to back pass interference calls for 54 total yards yards-the second of which was bullshit, then come back in the second half after that and block a punt, covert on 4th and ten for thirteen yards, score the TDs, make the kicks and do what needed to be done when it was nut cutting time is what it is all about in sports and in life-all seems pretty deserving to me. And to lose the game cause a free safety has a brain lock when a Pop Warner kid would know that he only needed to let the Vike make the catch and destroy him Ronnie Lott-style (when he ain't looking) and maybe old man Brees doesn't get another shot (very likely) is pathetic. I guess, in the end, the winner "deserves" to win in sports and in life cause, well, he won.
George Wallace Both teams deserved to win that game. Vikings defense collapsed in the second half and Brees looked like a hof qb. You can go on and on about reasons why one team deserves to win over the other. Deservedness is just your perspective. Don't forget that if Williams makes that tackle, the Vikings still have a 45-50 yard field goal try... both teams never gave up, and in the end the Vikings made the last play. They won because Keenum made a great throw and Diggs made a great catch at the perfect moment. not because of penalties or any other bs. It sucks for Saints fans that it had to end that way, but at least you have a super bowl lol unlike some teams....
Tailslover13 ay no matter what happens next week, I'm just satisfied with the way the Vikings won yesterday. Cant wait to watch the game on Sunday. If my Vikings don't win, I'll be cheering the Eagles on here in Minneapolis on Feb 4!! It's a shame you guys lost Wentz. That guy is the real deal but you still have a complete team and Foles looked competent on Saturday. Whatever happens the Eagles have a very bright future. Good luck to you this weekend!! SKOL
there's so much history between the Vikings and New Orleans. I remember the Super Bowl in New Orleans when the Vikes came down here with one of the greatest football teams in history Alan Page the Purple People Eaters Joe Kapp with that single bar face guard looking like the baddest mofo ever and the great Bud Grant. what a team! what a coach! and they got outgameplanned by Hank Stramm Dawson and the Chiefs-a team that position to position didn't deserve to be on the field with the Vikings. And the Chiefs won. The way I read the game clock, if we make the tackle, time expires game over. Keenum is a great story and that was a perfect throw. the guy's been around a long time. I expected him to play well. The Saints and Vikes have been bumping into each other in the playoffs for a long time (I remember when we blew something like a three TD lead back in the 90s) and its always a brawl and that's why we love sports. I like the Vikings and I will close with your phrase 'unlike some other teams...." good luck
Tailslover13 a lot of these fans and analysts don’t realize that’s it’s a new era in the nfl. The Big Ben , Brady , Rodgers, and the Brees days are coming to an end. Now is the time that these young qbs such as Wentz, Goff, Keenum , Watson, and Bortles all take over the game
Jags vs Vikings for the Super Bowl
NBA King never brady will walk into the superbowl vs vikings
Fouu Productions 😂 gotcha, we'll see
I dont usually agree with Max but hes 100 p right about Case. I'll never understand why people say "they should have won they were sensational the second half" that means they were trash the first half. The Vikings dominated the first half the saints dominated the second half the saints and Vikings both dominated the last two minutes. Either team could have won.
Robert Jandrue k
Robert Jandrue someone is salty
So the flags were what made Brees throw 2 picks? Or your double headed monster rush for 70 YDS? Or Brees go 8/18 in the 1st half? Also, the PI you are referring too only turned into 3 points. They missed a clear hold on Thielen in the 2nd half that potentially could have won it for the Vikes. Refs weren't perfect yesterday and they NEVER are.
Locked them down? Down 17-0 at halftime. Do you own a dictionary? Locked down = 17 points in a half, or if doubled, would be 34 points? Yeah, I'd say allowing 17 points in 1 half is locked down. Saints fans have looooved to rub the '09 Bounty Gate in our faces. Now you get to hold that L. Don't worry, though; L's are in your nature being from (L)ouisiana.
Rob H Coming from a neutral side, officiating has been easily as atrocious this year as it has any other year. It's disgusting to have some of the rules they have regarding officiating, like no reviews or re-thinks, no technology assistance allowed for penalty calls, etc. There is ZERO reason (aside from a few bucks) they can't have their "guys in the box" watching and correcting things as the game goes, so that the game isn't "bogged down" as they like to say.
It really makes it hard to watch, because we may not even be watching these same teams in the playoffs if officiating was more accurate. Of course it'll never be perfect, but it can certainly be better.
No one wants to see the Patriots against the Saints Stephen a hating on the Vikings hope they go to the superbowl
No one wants to see Patriots and Saints? Are you crazy? Who doesnt want to see 2 of the greatest QBs battling each other in the SB?
I did cuz the Saints is the last team to beat the patriots in the SB
that would be boring as fuck the same qbs every year
SAS hating bc his weak ass curtain stealers defense folded to a team who nobody felt they could make it this far all the three other teams were legit making it.. Steelers are booty!!! LoL
People are underrating what Could possibly be the greatest story in nfl\Sports history. We have chance to see the number one defense, Who by the way Would be the first team to host there on superbowl. Vs tom brady. We know Brady is great, but can he conquer this feat. To me that was the best story before the season even started. Jags and Vikings are a mere image of eachother, so the question is which team is the better version? And the Eagles, well i love phili, i actually picked them to go to the superbowl after week 3, but without wentz its not looking good. So what im saying is we need Minnesota in the Superbowl. The NFL needs Minnesota in the superbowl, as a matter-of-fact the whole world needs Minnesota in the superbowl!
Rap Brown Skol
mark pfromm I feel your pain bro, I feel your pain regarding 3 statements you made. First i to have lost quite a bit betting against new England. I actually live in vegas now so you can only imaging the amount of funds that i have coughed up. With the amount of money that i have lost i could have easily caught a limo to Carson and walked right into the moonlight bunnyranch and had what we call a Neapolitan special. The crazy part is that the one time that i actually did bet on new England they lost to the Giants in the superbowl. Second I also Would like to see New England lose and i do believe that Jacksonville has somewhat of a chance. Finally i feel really bad for phily fans. Such a great year for the Eagles only to Have "who i consider the MVP of the league in Carson Wentz" go down. But there is gsome Good news. No matter what happens on Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles have one extremely bright future.
no its pretty clear that Brady vs Brees would've been EPIC and much better for ratings since its to hall of game QBS and the north vs the south. so whatever bs rant you just preached is just that bs total garbage. are the vikings the no 1 defense??? i couldn't tell in second half plus eagles and jags both have great defenses so regardless a great D will be in bowl. As far as playing at home for bowl goes that means nothing to people outside of Minnesota tbh
Actually, the NFL is one of the few sports Where you Don't actually need a brees vs brady matchup for ratings. Its the NFL and the fucking superbowl, they sell out preseason games. The browns and lions Could be playing in the Superbowl and people would watch it. Its a sporting event like no other that comes down to 1 final game. Therer's people that watch it just for the commercials........ But that's beside the point. That last statement you just typed has to be arguably the most unintelligent, idiotic, statements that i have ever had the misfortune enough to read. Now when you said that Minnesota playing a home superbowl game does not mean nothing to people outside of Minnesota please tell me what in the hell do you mean by that? And what planet do you live on? There Has been no team, ill repeat no team in NFL history to host there own superbowl and What is America’s biggest annual sporting event. How that's somehow only a big deal to Minnesota fans is somewhat mind boggling to me. So lets use your logical way of thinking pertaining to major history being set. When the Dolphins went undefeated was that only a big deal to Miami or does the majority of nfl fans still remember the 72 dolphins? When doug Williams became the first black quarterback to When a superbowl was that only a big deal to Washington? If i remember history correctly usually when we go an extremely long time without ever seeing something and than it finally happens, its more than likely cosidered making history "which i could be wrong" but most people, even outside of Where it takes place at cosiderers it a big deal. So if the eagles play in the superbowl instead of Minnesota your saying that its not only not a big deal, but its probably a better story than Minnesota playing in the superbowl in there home stadium? Thats basically what you just said. And you go the audacity to talk about Minnesota’s defense? How many points did Jacksonville give up last week? Then last time i checked Minnesota had drew brees looking like Tim tebow in the first half. Maybe if he Would have played better in the first half the saints could have won? Or maybe if case keenum doesn't throw that horrendous interception or Minnesota doesn't have their punt get blocked this game would have never even been close? Oh yeah speaking of North vs South, now im no geographical Nazi but What was Minnesota vs the saints cosidered???? Who would have actually called the patriots vs the saints a North vs South rivalry? Do brees and Brady literally play against eachother? If the Other quarterback is facing a tougher defense how can you fairly call it a head to head match up? Brady would be playing against the saints defense while drew brees would be playing against the patriots defense. I think tom brady vs the Minnesota Vikings is technically more of a match up than brees vs brady. Look bottom line your some butthurt fan who should have told the vikings to it slow when they Where pounding you from the back so hard it made your butt-hurt. Most non Minnesota Viking fans are actually pulling for Minnesota and have acknowledge that history Could be made if Minnesota in fact goes all the way . Its just your to busy on the ground sucking drew brees´s dick its going way over your head plus the head that you have in your mouth.
“I think you look back at the things we accomplished and some of the memories that were made and the relationships that were built and the way this team came together. It really leaves me excited for the future of Saints football,” Drew Brees said after the loss. We really don't deserve you but damn we fucking love and appreciate what you've given us so far, Drew Brees!!!
Baupylypuab yeah as a saints fan I really want him to stay on the team, but considering how trash the coaching and the franchise at general I gotta be honest, it's sad to see drew.
@@god-sd3zl oh boy......
That man made plays all season including a pick this game and had a great rookie season. 4 picks and 5 missed tackles on 90 attempts. Was it an epic mistake...yes. But he’ll bounce back and have a great follow season to this rookie campaign. You can’t run cover 2 man in that situation vs a quarters prevent type of D. And fyi, we lost this game on that 3rd and 1. If we get that first with a to left, we run the clock down. This shit hurt but we will bounce back. Only bandwagon Saints fans would want him gone. Kenny Vaccaro made a lot more mistakes and penalties than he did this year. His just came at the absolute wrong time. Simple

+Branden Gray Fr unless you're Brady, Rodgers, or Brees, don't expect the media to give them props when its due
Stephen A. was clearly the diversity hire.
Why would he be a "diversity hire"?
100%
As an NFL fan with no dog in that fight I was heart-broken for Saints fans, but also exhilarated for Vikings fans. Being from Texas, I wanted Brees in the Super Bowl, but the next best thing is having the Vikings be the first team in NFL history to play the Super Bowl in their own back yard. Now THAT would be super cool! One game away, finish it !
The biggest miracle was how the Saints even caught up to lead at all.
That took *multiple* miracles
Honestly if the super bowl is Bortles vs Keenum/Foles it will decrease the value of the QB cuz now everyone will realize that you DON'T need a top teir QB to win a SB, So GM's and Owners are probably hoping for this
King Mo Or maybe it would refirm the saying that defense wins championships. BTW keenum has been playing very well, just as good as a lot of the good QBs I'm the league. Manning's ring already proved that a defense can win you a ring even if you don't play like a star.
Timmy Tom this is true
Bryant vs Bortles would be awesome cuz.........UCF are the national champs.
It's coming down to the two best defenses in the league..
The Broncos with Manning built the same team and won. The problem is that requires you to build the top defense in the league to pull it off.
I smell vikings vs patriots
Torah Judea As a diehard Eagles fan and Patriot hater, I have to say you are going to be right.
Just forget all about the jags pretty sure u rooted for the steelers to
Be easy man
DeAndre Munroe alot of things were bad that game but that onside kick was a big part in the jags win. Patriots are a consistent team and are not playing dumb like the steelers
Henry Bernard It won't be real home field advantage plus the Vikings just almost lost to the Saints at home and the Patriots are better than the Saints.
Stephen A. Is so dramatic. Acting like Marcus Williams didn’t make an interception in the first half. He mistimed the tackle, and Diggs took advantage. Simply Put.
Randy Orisma bah don’t compensate for him.
SwiperMust Swipe I’m not compensating for him, I stated a fact. He mistimed it. If you look at his first half interception, he time it correctly.
Randy Orisma. Facts it's football stuff always happens
Randy Orisma he was a little overboard but still that's a damn play that you have to make. There's really no excuse for that
He didn’t try to tackle him....he Panic
espn hates talking about the vikings
Marcus Williams behaved like a grown man when he took responsibility for that missed tackle. Respect.
True. However, I still don't get what the hell he was doing on that final play.
What else was he supposed to do? Act like it was someone else's fault he tackled Mante' Teo's girlfriend?
Marcus Williams better hope his career recovers... That’s his career highlight so far😔😂😂
Richard Knight he a rookie. He'll be alright
Richard Knight Bruh!! 😅😅
I'm still in shock....
Unbelievable

And yet here we are almost 2 years later and he hasn't won a meaningful game since.

Yo Stephen A stop being salty cause your Steelers lost!! It’s the year if defense three out of the final four teams all have pretty stout defense and can run the football!! I’m going for a Jaguars vs Eagles super bowl it sure would be a sweet change of pace and not the same ol’ same ol’ thing regurgitated that we have been seeing the past few years it’s time for some NEW BLOOD get the pats outta here!!
Man I thought it was bad being a Steeler’s fan yesterday but... I can’t imagine how infuriating it is being a saints fan. Giving the game away like that.
The fact we went from starting 0-2 to this says the Saints can only get better. Yeah I drink a whole bottle of Crown Royal but still damn proud of my Bayou Boys. We’ll be back see y’all in the Superdome #WhoDat
A little salty in the Bayou I see. How about this one? Diggs and the Vikings are now by you! The more salt you use, the more painful the wound!
RATINGS ARE GOING TO BE RIDICULOUS IF BORTLES AND KEENUM MAKE OT TO SUPERBOWL, LOL. THAT'S WHAT I HOPE HAPPENS BY THE WAY
I'll give them a shot if Jacksonville show's up to play but the ref's may decide this game for the patriot's
Albert Paiz Foles verse Bortles would still be the worst qb matchup
Jarret Berenson no doubt
king prince yeah I think they have a shot as well but you're absolutely right. All questionable calls will more than likely go the Patriots way
That wud honestly be one of the Most Boring SBs ever
Smith's a hater. Keenums played well all year. Loudmouth needs to shut his hole.
Brett Gustin. Especially against Philly! Right?
John Rhody ..ha. yah. He didn't have mych help. Whole team played like shit
John Rhody still does not take away the fact how amazing this play was! Go down as one of the greatest moments in nfl history
Lol look what happened to mr.keenum looks like Stephen a was right all along
Thank You Vikings I won 600 bucks Go team purple!!!
I could not believe what I seen yesterday afternoon but my New Orleans Saints we will be back next year I am still a little bitter.
Reginald Smith shit hurt but we improve a lot d was nice this season
Reginald Smith as a vikes fan we've felt that before. It sucks
Right...my qb will get his ring before he retires #whodat
Doubt that. He’s old. Like really old. Like Peyton Manning throwing ducks old. Like Favre coming out of retirement two years to late old. Like Kobe in his final season old.....OLD
Gatta love karma
If Stephen A Smith doesn't start showing some respek for Case Keenum I'm gonna go pro and ignore all his interviews. For real
lmao
SAS lookin like Stanley from the Office in the thumbnail
Funniest tid-bit I've read today! I hope this comment goes viral
Eagles defense is gonna dominate the Purple
Oh, ok big guy. Vikings defense is better. LOL.
the Saints safety gave the Vikings the game
Nope. They were in field goal range and Diggs could have gotten out of bounds. Then, not that difficult of field goal and game over. Fact is, the Saints made a "miraculous" comeback after getting torched in the first 2.5 qtrs. Vikings were the superior team. Period.
Maybe you could say the vikes d gave the saints a long shot to even get back in the game the second half. Easy to point fingers at one play, but that game was over at halftime
R J Vikings not dat dominate if they gave up 24 points in the second half
DFS Donk Vikings was fighting for their lives so the Vikings are not dominate as one would think
nah bro if he made that tackle the game would of been over, there was no time on the clock...
That was unreal
Stephen A Salty ASF just accept the L for the saints and steelers
He didnt even try to arm wrap tackling him. Hes paied to miss that tackle for sure
Really how much was he paid?
Erik Caviness tell that to M. Vick
Marcus Williams is not to blame for this game. Anyone who watched the NFL KNOWS that if anything YOU don’t wanna bail a real out in crunch with a PI call and you don’t wanna get caught leading with a helmet.
And Stephen A blaming him is sad
lemar012197 stop it😂.. All the man had to do was break down an make the tackle.. Simple.. Instead he dove at the ground also taking out his teammate 😂.. You can't make this shit up.. This is nothing more than thee worse defensive play of his young career.. And maybe a top 10 blunder on somebody's list. Tough shit
Michael Morton when you in the heat of the moment you don’t think about everything not to mention he was in the air which could of drew a PI and to top it all off it’s not his fault really because the saint s shouldn’t even have been in that situation if they had played harder the entire game and not chose to turn up only the second half.
lemar012197 you can't get called for PI wrapping a guy up in the air.. Hell, he could've let him catch the ball an then wrapped him up..you're right he wasnt thinking and it showed in what he did.
Max ur wrong the Vikings had no timeouts sir
Darrien Williams yeah but diggs might have been able to get out of bounds
Darrien Williams or they could run really quick for a spike but i see
Luke Ditton its a chance but he wouldn’t have all williams had to do was tackle him......instead of just letting him run to the end zone I’ll take my chances on a potential field goal miss than just let him go for a TD
Didn't need them. That's what sidelines are for.
R J it wasn’t definite that he woulda ended up out of bounds tho.....foh
Marcus Williams got a interception to put us back in the game....im a huge saints fan I've watched him play all year and he's very good...he jus made a costly mistake
King Savage most sensible comment I've read since last night
So something fresh in the super bowl is bad? C'mon Mr negative nonsense talking Smith.
What if Marcus Williams did continue his tackle and cause a pass interference and the Vikings kicked the game winning field goal, what would the saints fans be saying then? Honestly he didn't make the right decision and didn't make the wrong one people should really stop complaining. I'm 100% a Vikings fan but I can't help to feel so bad for Marcus just because he got caught up in the last play of the game so everyone's blaming the poor rookie
Just let him catch it and wait for him to land then wrap him up. You don't have to fly in and try to blow the doors off.
he didn't make the wrong decison??? did you see the play hmm let me think which is better play A. knock him out high
B. Knock him in middle hard
C. FLIP him
D. let him catch then wrap up
E. contest the catch in air
F. put my head down and bull rush potentially giving me a spinal injury or worse MISSING THE GUY COMPLETLY AND HITTING MY TEAMMATE
why is F the right decison idk what happened but thats not good for ratings in the long run because it looked staged. you sir are lucky im a nice guy because you are out of line by trying to excuse what he did and blame saints team while giving vikings credit for a game they shouldve lost if it wasn't for a missed tackle
Sure smells like bias in here.
When a mistake is made in football [and there are many] it is up to the opposing team to capitalize on that mistake.
Marcus Williams made a mistake and the Vikings capitalize on that mistake.
Stephen A is just being a cry baby and does not give the Minnesota Vikings credit for capitalizing on that mistake.
Football is a game of many factors and decisions.
Injuries and mistakes are factors.
darbuki13 no way this is basic football. even diggs paused a moment because he couldn't realize he wasn't tackled. a guy in a wheelchair couldve made that tackle. Thats a hit you dream of if you play football.
brodrick sheffield Agreed, not basic football, regardless Diggs kept his balance and capitalize on a major, major blunder. Call it lucky, call it a miracle, call it as one wishes.
Bottom line, mistake on a very bad desicion by Marcus Williams.
I will agree with Stephen A that's the defensive coordinator set things up wrong.
3 man rush with more help for the safety.
It looks to me like Marcus Williams, got there a little early and just flubbed it up completely. I mean really, if he would have just been a little more patient and not rushed there so quickly, he could have just made the tackle in bounds, game over.
I know I'm not coming up with anything that hasn't already been said. Yet, like I said Minnesota capitalize on that mistake. Let's see what happens in Philly.
Marcus williams is fine he made a mistake. Hes been playing great this whole season. His interception in that game was clutch. Hes gonna be great one day
Young qb Bridgewater.
Excellent one year so far qb Case Kennum.
A consistent average qb Sam Bradford.
What do vikes do with them?
A really bad team is going to pay TOP dollar for Keenum after this run. Like what Houston did with Osweiler. It's tough because if you win the Super Bowl, you probably want to keep him. But remember the Ravens gave Flacco a HUGE deal after their SB win, and he hasn't even come close to living up to it. Zimmer's a smart man he'll figure it out. But out of the three I like Bradford the best, but he's Mr. Glass.
As a Vikings fan I honestly don't know. All three could leave in free agency but who really wants Bradford and bridgewater off of injuries? Maybe we draft someone and hope they grow, or maybe we target a free agent, or keep case.
If the Vikings win the Super Bowl then there's no way you can get rid of Case
I just want to know if marcus williams is still alive today
reminds me of brandon bostick in that packers seahawks game
Rahim Moore
yeah rahim moore but denver still had a chance to win in overtime
michael edwards So did the packers
dammit the brandon bostick was more worse all he had to do is catch the ball
Case is giving fans hope here in Minnesota. But if this is true Minnesota sports, we’ll choke in the next round or the super bowl for sure. Sadly...
Keith Spillman you call yourself a fan? You're a disgrace.
Jordan Henriksen no he's a Vikings fan you don't go through the shit we've been through and confidently say we are going to win the Super Bowl
Funnyusername I’m a Vikings fan and I’m calling him a disgrace, it’s one thing to have those thoughts in the back of your mind, and another thing entirely to openly admit defeat. Why are you a fan? To expect defeat?
Why the fuck would you even say that, leave Minnesota now your not welcome
I’ve just learned to not get so invested in a series of teams that can’t ever get their shit together, wolves, wild, Vikings, twins. They ONLY thing we have good going is the lynx and our college hockey. Sorry but after we choke next week, I won’t be surprised and all bummed out. Now saying that, I don’t want our team to lose. But I’ve learned the hard way and have been let down countless times. If you can’t look at our sports in a similar perspective, you are a fool and aren’t a true Minnesota sports fan.
#SKOLVIKINGS
That was Lucky. Dude missed a easy tackle. That play makes the NFL look fake. It's not but that was bad. Sorry 43.
Michael Ohare he probably didn't think he could catch the ball so he didn't want to get a penalty for a foul hit on him
Steve Smith is a bias reporter. He speaks without self awareness or with any type of gamesmanship. His IQ is clearly lacking. But his opinion does not surprise me. That's why skip kicked his butt down the curb....... #noratingsforareason
Case Keenum gets absolutely NO respect. This season, he had a better completion % than TOM BRADY, fewer interceptions than DREW BREES, a better QBR than PHILLIP RIVERS, and threw for more TDs than MATT RYAN or CAM NEWTON. Hes not a scrub quarterback, and I cannot wait for him to roast New England behind that Minnesota D in his own house.
if he tackled him correctly, time would have expired Max...
Will Croston Thank you
Yes, time would have expired, but if he HAD tackled him it would have been offensive pass interference. Look at the replay and you'll see that if he'd made the tackle he would have clearly been on digs before the ball arrived. Since the game can not end on a defensive penalty, the Vikings would have been able to attempt a field goal. In most situations with a one score lead like this, you don't want to commit any foul and give the offense another chance. However this is a case in which it was necessary to do so. Perhaps the defense was told "NO PENALTIES" by the coaches. Whether by coaches instructions or Williams' own decision, I think he was avoiding a penalty.
If depend if Diggs hold on enough to get out of bound
The NFL totally fucked up the way it fixed this game in the final seconds. It was so obvious, I am no longer a fan. Last years Superbowl was so wrongly scripted by the NFL. Wow they suck at hiding this
How funny it is adrian peterson played all these years with the vikings the same year he leave is the vikings best chance to make the superbowl Ctfu im a giant's fan as soon ticki barber retired the giants won the superbowl
Carlton Rudolph that's pretty tragic actually
Lance Isaac is it can you imagine how he feel them doing better with out him got to remember pro atheletes have very huge egos. Meaning that a hurt them more than one of regular people
They went to the nfc championship with him in 2009
dfite24 yea he still feeling it though
still the best RB in Vikings history though.
*Marcus Williams*
You had one job. One fucking job bro! How do you miss an open field tackle unblocked? I really hope you can mentally recover from this. And I hope your teammates aren't too hard on you..... but damn bro!
Antonio McCray over the course of the game, he probably had about 40 jobs or more 😂 but yeah, gotta make that tackle rook!
He's gonna have a bright career in the nfl, I could already tell, players bounce back from mistakes like this all the time, he's gonna have a mental battle, and he played a good game too! People forget that...
Marcus Williams, May probably recover from this. If everybody just got left up on him. To begin with, he made a key interception up a mistake by Case Keenum. That interception by Marcus Williams kept the Saints in the game in order to go ahead by 1 Point. But all that everybody is going to remember, is that he missed an open-field tackle. I think he just got there a little too early and made a bad decision. Yeah I know major blunder. We'll see how it goes, in the meantime SKOL!
darbuki13 agreed
How was it rigged give me proof I want video proof where it was rigged tell me
Nfl is definitely rigged.
Deon Nelson without a doubt
If it was rigged the NFL said "Well the Saints screwed the Vikings by cheating and dealing drugs in 09 so lets make this right"
josh cohen fuck the NFL
Frank Banks you sound like a cry baby bitch!
Rigged
He must've lost a bet
godlza no that’s just how he always is
Nah he just over hype everything...
Stephen is such a hater
That attempt tackle play was worse than the Seahawks not running the ball by far smh no more Brees Vs Brady Super Bowl
Facts
Drew Brees would of expose Brady in the super bowl show em that he the better Qb
I agree that play is sickening Drew Brees had to mad as hell
Drew Brees also got them back in the game against the number one defense I will honestly fire that rookie
Top Bee Eagles were gonna drop off the saints anyway
F.I.X.E.D
Skol Vikings!!!
And yall still believe sports are real ...sheep
Williams is going to Disneyland!!! Check was cashed before the game! BELIVE THAT! No safety out of high school would have missed that tackle.
A Slack Jr I totally agree and I'm a Giants fan .. No way if you can think of a PI call and just figure I will let him score a Td instead!
A Slack Jr 💯 That play was suspect that's why everybody shock but them you have to pay attention closely to set up before the last drive that's why its not adding up because something is not right and mighty weird how the suoerbowl is in Minneapolis 🤔
LATasha Hawkins I totally agree, everyone is quick to make excuses. But never had I seen a play or non play like this. Then able to wipe out the only other player that could make a play
You are 100% correct!
Right on! He was paid prior to the game because whoever paid him knew that Williams would be involved in a key play and that if he intentionally blew a tackle, the Vikings would win. Yep. Sounds logical to me.
SKOL
First takes UA-cam channel sucks...nothing but 4 to 5 min clips...give me a 15 min clip ..now!
Skol
I was looking forward to brees vs Brady smh
jacoby mannie now you gonna see a lockdown defense versus brady even better matchup so calm down
