I always remember watching the leafs with my Dad and seeing Ellis on the wing. If I'm not mistaken he usually played with Henderson.
We got a treat this week, the show was a little longer. Thanks as always, best podcast bar none.
One of these days when Grapes can speak on the leafs I'd like his opinion on why Matthews always goes stealth mode in playoffs.
Even though he was sick this year it certainly isn't uncommon.

Leafs cannot do anything to improve their team in other areas with four players taking up half their salary cap space, regardless if they are not going to get back the value if they trade Marner. He is invisible in the playoffs year after year not just this season. Playoff hockey is different than regular season hockey. Perimeter passing and not shooting the puck might work in the regular season but does not work in the playoffs.
