Ugh. Sniperwolf would be tolerable (I legit don't care if people photoshop their pics) if she was just honest about it. Who does she think she fooling? Also, her voice/way of speaking grates my eardrums. I think she needs to learn a thing or two about throwing stones from a glass house before she calls women "thots" or calls them out for editing their pics or calls them out for having had plastic surgery. Awesome vid as always! I like that art style in your intro.
Literally every good and respected youtuber knows about, respects and appreciates Nerd City. He is just that good and I really hope he blows up big time, because there is no denying he deserves it. Good luck dude!!
Zippy because the little kids like it when screaming adults they can “connect” with make fun of people. Why you see a lot of people with pink hair and being obnoxious, since they’re basically easy money to them, which is pretty sad.
I'm guessing you don't wear glasses? Now, while I will say she most certainly isn't wearing script lenses, I could tell within 2 seconds that she 100% does have lenses (Whether non-script reading lenses, or just fake lenses (aka Plano, No Power, +0.00, etc.). I was able to spot this because all you have to do is look at the back half of the inner frame (where the lens would meet the frame) and you'll notice that the color is overlaid with a frosty white type look, which is from the lens edges not being polished after they're cut. I'll be fair though and give you the fact that her lenses are extremely clean in that shot and I agree could be mistaken for not having any in at all, as well as the fact hat those who don't wear glasses themselves, wouldn't know to look for the unpolished lens edges.
I tutor a lot of college-age girls and one of my students had some IG booty-model as her "inspiration" wallpaper. I pulled up the TryHards explanation of liquefy and encouraged her to just love herself and do squats.
I love that when you advertise to us you don't sound like you are reading a script or being guided. You are just telling us what it does and is it good , you are such a good youtuber especially as you expose people but by using constructive criticism and noting being harsh or trying to create drama
Human beings projecting their insecurities on others has gotta be one of the easiest to spot human behaviors...and yet, those who do it constantly like sausagewolf does are the only ones who don't realize they're doing it. Almost makes you sad for em.
and people who lie about things that totally happened, or people who tear into others to lift their own ego, theres so many sad behaviors you can spot online, neatly cataloged. attention, whether on false premises, pure controversy, or those updoots on unnecessarily rude sick burn comments, people need validation some way or another. people who act in fucked up ways like that are the ones who need help the most, but cant receive it
So happy to see this channel getting the views and subs it deserves. Well, getting there at least. I remember when I first found Nerd City and how shocked I was to see only 20k subs. There should be over a million with the quality content on this channel.
This is one of the smartest, fully realized channels that balances comedy, commentary, accountability, and wit on this platform. Please do not start watching if you have things to do today because you will do none of the things on your list. Holyballz how did it take me so long to find Nerd City?
I legitimately learned how to use Premiere and Photoshop from tutorial videos by people who barely speak English. Hell, with Premiere I started from knowing so little, I basically needed a tutorial for every single basic action you can do, like, simply cutting footage and putting it together. Muting audio. Using keyframes. Adding text. It's almost embarrassing, and even stuff from last year is hard to look back on. You know what'd be even more embarrassing? If I never looked up tutorials and never learned. Part of what makes me appreciate this channel is learning more about Photoshop techniques that I hadn't even thought of needing to learn more about.
same here, but with music production. this is why im a huge fan of boyinaband (idubbz's producer/ghost writer). I remember watching his yt tuts way waaay back in the day, he always had the most informative tutorials. he was literally the best/friendliest teacher on the platform. then he became friends/networked with idubbz and everyone else... i was just blown away that he was finally getting proper recognition for his talents
100%. I learned programming because of online tutorials. Started small, got my interest even bigger, and now I do it professionally. If I didn't have that opening because of the internet, I would probably never even go to a CS Uni, I'd probably be a physicist at best or something. 100% frakking blessed, for having the best hobby I'd ever want, because I looked it up on the internet, when basically no one around me even had a clue what a computer is.
I know for a fact this channel is going to be one of the YT titans in the next 5 years. I've only watched 2 videos and already subed. I predict 2 mill subs in 2 years minimum. Daily uploads, multiple channels, two hosts, a whole teams and a crossover with Vsause 2 It's gonna happen.
I love Sssniperwolfs newest video trying to throw shade at Nerd City... with the video being about other people being caught in lies on social media. 😂🤣 such a winner. I’m prepared to be blocked lol.
Thanks for letting me know about SkillShare, I have been trying to get better at photoshopping (like memes and shit) but its been hard without a teacher so thanks a lot. Keep up the great work
I have some things to say: 1) Your level of talent/skill is incredible! I wish I had 25% of that skill. I'm just a broke fool with basic equipment at best. 2) Thank you for exposing the fraudsters and phonies. Their egos are so huge that they need to be checked. 3) If a person edits their pics (filters, photoshop, etc), that's fine. Own up to it. There's less shame in admitting you edit than blatantly denying and then getting caught. One of the reasons I regularly went to comic cons was to see what cosplayers **actually** look like without filters/shoop. 4) Same for lyrics/scripts. If you didn't write it, give credit where it's due instead of getting busted. When I made social/political commentary vids (different channel), I wrote all my own scripts. If I didn't, the writer was credited in the show notes/description. 5) When they block you, it means you win. You exposed sniperwolf, she needs to protect her ego/persona/relevance, so she blocked. It only makes her look worse. 😂 I cannot tell you how often this happened when I was using twitter. 😂🔫 I look forward to the next one.
I'm just finding your channel for some reason... It's a shame I can't truly enjoy these at work because it seems like I have to pay attention but I am so intrigued. You put so much effort into these videos, it's so noticeable and appreciated.
Something that I speculated about the iDubbbz disstrack from Rice is that he wrote a bit; the bit where the beat cut out. I figured he cut the beat there because he wasn't sure how to make the phrasing/syllables match the beat of the original, so he just got lazy, cut the beat, and *tried* to make it sound like he did that as a stylistic choice.
Yeah, when the whole Ricegum/Content Cop thing was happening I didn't understand why certain UA-camrs (like Keemstar, NFKRZ, and I'mAlexx to name a few) were saying that Ricegum had the obviously better diss track. I felt like the one Idubbbz did with BoyInABand was catchy and hilarious! People were acting like Ricegum was some great musical artist, but just because someone becomes famous for doing something doesn't automatically mean they are actually good at it.
Actually ricegum exposed idubbbz in a way too. Why do you think idubbbz is too much like ricegum, even tana? Tana milks Shane for views and fans, idubbbz milks Ethan for views and subs. And it turn out idubbbz and his fans was covering up a heap of lies.
Yeah, that Content Cop didn't really do any damage. It just amounted to an entertaining video that criticized Ricegum. What I found irritating was how Keemstar went on DramaAlert screaming about how Ricegum made such a "superior" diss track and how his response was "so good". Ricegum handled it well, it was just Keemstar who I found the most annoying.
Fantastic content as always. It's obvious how much work you put into every video. I REALLY appreciate that you include a LINK in the description to EVERY video you cite in your analysis. I wish more content creators learned from your stuff. Very thorough my dude.
dude seriously, the way you master your mix for your end title. I'd seriously pay good money to watch visuals you've done put to music. I want to light up and watch like an hour of that shit. It's just so good. You're extremely hardworking and talented on those little blurbs at the end (as well as the rest of your videos) and I really appreciate it my dude.
I have to watch every single one of your videos multiple times, just so I can soak in and appreciate the visual quality, editing, humor, and intelligent commentary. I hate having to wait for new videos but it's massively obvious that you're putting a lot of work into them and I'd much rather have fewer, quality videos than many mediocre ones (I was going to say "shit" but judging from your content I'm not sure if you could even make a shit video without trying really hard and even then it would probably just look like a really well-done fake of a shit video). I also feel like there's often a lot of great information in your videos, and I appreciate the way you creatively present sponsor products. Even if I'm not interested in the product, I still want to watch you cover it, because not only is it entertaining (like the Gillette ad), it's also informative because you actually tie it in with the video itself. Except, this time I *am* interested, so I signed up for Skillshare using your link. Man, there's a ton of content on that site, I can't wait to dig into it. I hadn't heard of the site before, so I'm glad they sponsored you. Thanks for the awesome videos, I'm going to go back and watch this one again.

I love the incisive analysis and vibe you showed in some of your other videos though, and maybe this type of subject (Sniperwolf) is, in fact, what other people want to see (I don't have any idea) but I hope you'll consider this. And I'll keep watching either way, and this is just one guy's opinion, etc: I'm more interested in hearing what you have to say when you REALLY figure out that you have 251,000 people that are waiting to hear what you have to say next...
I’m certainly in the market for a better topic. Halfway through editing this something snapped in my head. The world news got so wacky the last week, and I couldn’t help but wonder why I was doing this video
Appreciate the reply and the honesty, and once again appreciate the work you're doing. First, sorry for the length of this, I hope you even have time to read it, but if not that's fine - I gotta drop it and go for now. You should probably know about me that I'm a 46 year old male with a bachelor's degree in Finance and used to be a business consultant with a company called Accenture for about 8 years. I encourage you to look them up. I love the people I worked with there, and they taught me a great deal about business and about fair deals and how to structure them. It also taught me about the dark side of corporate culture (UA-cam is a corporation, and like all corporations they are bound by legal contract to maximize shareholder value, which means make money for their investors, not give a shit about creators getting paid or the coffee bean farmer getting his share, etc you get it. I'm not trying to waste your time shitting ideas out here, I honestly hope it helps in some way, even if you don't use any of it, because your growth will be fueled by the topics you choose and thereby the audience you attract and keep. In other words, the topics are the way to everything else, and I'll bet you'll come up with some splendidly irreverent ones, and I'm rooting for you. If I had your talent for breaking ideas down coherently and with evidence while at the same time maintaining levity and humor, characters, music, video editing, etc I might talk about some of the following (but I DON'T have all those skillsets): 1) the news is always crazy, and I think they keep it that way to keep us distracted from the stuff that really matters. There is a constant flow of bullshit on all the majors to ensure nobody can get any meaningful discourse happening on any important topic. How big a deal is pulling out of the climate accord, can't talk about it everyone's chatting about the royal wedding and whether or not the girl's father will attend, what sash she'll wear, etc. They dangle the psychologically irresistable shit out in front of us all so we don't ever have critical mass for any significant discussion regarding any topic that actually matters in our lives. You ever shake a tennis ball in front of your dog to distract him from the hamburger you're hiding from him? After a few years he figures it out and isn't impressed by the tennis ball anymore because he knows you're keeping something better for yourself. Why are we still distracted by every tennis ball they wave in front of us?Are we truly that stupid? But is insulting your audience a smart way to build a channel? Maybe. See Howard Stern, at one time largest radio audience in america. Add to this that "political correctness" also helps to prevent us from talking about anything meaningful, and you have a serious social and cultural problem that nobody is even talking about, and it's been brewing for decades. The lack of social change creates economic imbalance, stress illnesses, drug addiction, depression, hopelessness, militarization of police, zombie-apocalypse-itis (in rest of us) and this too is taking over in collective psychology. But the iPhone10 is out...oooooh. We are ridiculous and somebody needs to say so. You're good at pointing out people trying to sell bullshit to themselves OR others, and you knew that before I typed it. 2) how about the fact that the entire economic model of the whole f'ing internet economy is bass ackwards, including UA-cam. I could go on and on (laughing), believe me these are just the big points: the content creator finds the audience, builds it, moderates it, and then when the eyeballs of that same audience are so desired by sponsors that they're willing to chuck out big checks for access to those eyeballs, somehow UA-cam gets the lion's share of the earnings from monied eyeballs they had absolutely nothing to do with attracting. They didn't "find" sponsors for your channels, the companies found the audiences THEY wanted and UA-cam held all the cards so they decided the structure. But this is still being established as the standard, and so this can still be changed, which is why i think this is particularly important to galvanize people about now. No One has written the perfect symphony on this topic, nobody has organized and hit all the notes to make it clear to all the creators (watching, creating, and sharing with THEIR audiences) that you all have WAY more power than you guys are currently using. UA-cam deserves their piece for a lot of reasons, but the largest share of any revenue that is generated from that audience in ANY way should flow back to the content creator or else the new system (I mean the whole new economic model of creative content on the internet, not just UA-cam) won't work for anyone except corporate america, like everything else does now. But UA-cam and Instagram have the most creators (I think?) and so those are probably the battlegrounds. And why is everyone accepting the way it is now anyway, they think they have "no choice"? WTF is that? The content creator does all the work, picks topics, does research, researches their competitors, finds their audience, scripts, films, fixes audio, edits the videos, advertises the channel, etc etc and THEN hands most of the control and most of the money over to their UA-cam overlords? Say what again? Why? There's an entire community of creative thinking people out here and you're telling me nobody has been able to figure out a better option yet, or at least establish a collective gameplan? I think the real discussion hasn't occurred yet. So then a wave of discourse is needed, right? The right video could spark it. I could go on. 3) About this time a century ago, the flow of people was from the farms to the cities and the new economy was in manufacturing and what do you know, Labor Unions sprang up to protect and empower the millions of people joining this brave new social order. Those unions finally corrected the power imbalance between workers and companies, bringing the social relationship into balance. Workers got rights, better pay, collective bargaining, etc etc here's what everyone is missing: This (UA-cam) is a big part of the new economy for this century, people have futures and houses and kids and lives hanging on this brave and creative choice to venture forth into this brave new social order, and they need to organize to have ANY chance of correcting the power imbalance now in effect. I repeat it is their legal obligation to maximize profit for their investors, and not for you. It's not a conspiracy, it's in the articles of incorporation for every single company in the United States, no shit. They're doing exactly what they're designed to do, that's capitalism kids, and that actually requires some discussion as well imo, but it's another trail for another day. So because the labor unions corrected that imbalance for a huge portion of what became the middle class (and they got a fair share of the value they created back then), the economic and social "boom" of the middle class occurred, after organization and fighting not just cuz it was right. Middle class would have never risen without that collective bargaining power that "organizing" and "fighting" gave them, which is what all content creators in the new economy need to do if they want to build the next one for their kids. You try to not offend your audience, don't be afraid to offend UA-cam. Once you're organized and you demonstrate your power to UA-cam and they feel it in their profits, they will sit down at the negotiating table and discuss the demands of the creators. Believe it. All they care about is the profits, so if you affect the profits you get their attention quick and they will turn it into action then. Just my opinion - you guys all have to unite under one banner and stick together under it, until you get what you deserve. And someone has to begin that conversation. Or just collectively admit that creators will take the scraps and be happy with what they "can get" because they don't want to rock the boat too much. Creators need to decide what they CAN agree on, organize under that, and begin to use that influence to affect change. Hit the profits, change discussions begin. It's basic stuff I think but as far as I can tell the conversation isn't happening at critical mass to affect change. 4) just kidding, there's no 4. I do have more though, just no more time tonight. Sorry this is so long-winded, you can just ignore if you have your own ideas to ponder, this was just a brain drop real quick. Don't mean to overwhelm, it's how I communicate these days, just how my brain works. I think the internet is sort of like a collective brain the human species is slowly building, so we're "all connected" out here in weird ways we don't totally understand yet. What I mean is I don't know how this might help but I hope it does. If you like the stuff I wrote, keep talking to me and if not then don't, I'm watching anyway. In any case, keep poking 'em in the eye man.
I agree with Al GoRythm (great name, BTW)---you are clearly too smart to be wasting your time and talent on these hack youtubers. I keep wondering if there is a whole team working on this channel or if you are simply so driven that you do this mostly by yourself, which would explain the large amount of time needed to create each video. Whatever the case, this channel and the format might be able to shed light on current events in a way that youtube has never seen before. You are the hero youtube needs but doesn't deserve...okay, that was a bit cringey but I think you see what I'm getting at. :D

Also, her voice/way of speaking grates my eardrums. I think she needs to learn a thing or two about throwing stones from a glass house before she calls women "thots" or calls them out for editing their pics or calls them out for having had plastic surgery.
Awesome vid as always! I like that art style in your intro.
Dethink is the artist’s name, super talented. I made it move, but he drew the original - definitely check him out on Twitter
Olivia Lewis Do you think she's played Metal Gear Solid
Her audience is just filled with teens, so you can safely say she's fooling her audience successfully.

How can any human listen to SSSniperWail speak for more than 12 seconds? Her vocal cords are stuck on permaloud mode.
Zippy because the little kids like it when screaming adults they can “connect” with make fun of people. Why you see a lot of people with pink hair and being obnoxious, since they’re basically easy money to them, which is pretty sad.
I'm damn sure there's no actual lenses in SSSniperwolf's specs' frames... Its clearly visible at 3:53 - 3:54, She's wearing just the frames lmao...

I'll be fair though and give you the fact that her lenses are extremely clean in that shot and I agree could be mistaken for not having any in at all, as well as the fact hat those who don't wear glasses themselves, wouldn't know to look for the unpolished lens edges.
so guys, we did it, we got nerd city to a quarter of a million subscribers

So happy to see this channel getting the views and subs it deserves. Well, getting there at least. I remember when I first found Nerd City and how shocked I was to see only 20k subs. There should be over a million with the quality content on this channel.
Thank you for staying around, Tremoney!
This is one of the smartest, fully realized channels that balances comedy, commentary, accountability, and wit on this platform. Please do not start watching if you have things to do today because you will do none of the things on your list. Holyballz how did it take me so long to find Nerd City?
And then even after it's been binged, UA-cam probably won't send a notification or put it in your feed the next time we upload :)
100% frakking blessed, for having the best hobby I'd ever want, because I looked it up on the internet, when basically no one around me even had a clue what a computer is.
just curious what you use photoshop for primarily?
Same, Aboveup. I’ve learned a lot that way. Figuring out what something is called is the hardest part sometimes

Thanks for letting me know about SkillShare, I have been trying to get better at photoshopping (like memes and shit) but its been hard without a teacher so thanks a lot. Keep up the great work
I hope you like it as much as I do!
I have some things to say:
1) Your level of talent/skill is incredible!
I look forward to the next one.

Good theory - that part is by far the worst
Yeah, when the whole Ricegum/Content Cop thing was happening I didn't understand why certain UA-camrs (like Keemstar, NFKRZ, and I'mAlexx to name a few) were saying that Ricegum had the obviously better diss track. I felt like the one Idubbbz did with BoyInABand was catchy and hilarious! People were acting like Ricegum was some great musical artist, but just because someone becomes famous for doing something doesn't automatically mean they are actually good at it.
Johnny Bensonitis yeah just look at Michael Bay and the movies he makes.
Actually ricegum exposed idubbbz in a way too. Why do you think idubbbz is too much like ricegum, even tana? Tana milks Shane for views and fans, idubbbz milks Ethan for views and subs. And it turn out idubbbz and his fans was covering up a heap of lies.
Even Phillip defranco said it himself there's no clear winner in this war.
How did ricegum expose Idubbbz?
How do you not have a million subs yet?! You're the best youtuber around! Can't wait for new content!

I hadn't heard of the site before, so I'm glad they sponsored you.

man honestly, you're too smart to be spending this much time exposing a person like this girl. I'd rather see you point that HD mind of yours at something worth analyzing.
If I had your talent for breaking ideas down coherently and with evidence while at the same time maintaining levity and humor, characters, music, video editing, etc I might talk about some of the following (but I DON'T have all those skillsets):
1) the news is always crazy, and I think they keep it that way to keep us distracted from the stuff that really matters.
Al GoRythm dude wrote a whole novel.
I agree, one of the more interesting videos like the ones he’s suggesting is your ask the devil on the state of net neutrality. It was well informed, current, and dealt with a larger problem facing the internet. I gotta say, ending this video with "dollar in the woods" was pretty brilliant. I have no idea why it works so well, but it adds so much energy to the outro
I love how I have notifications on for this channel and just realized you posted.
:/
UA-cam blames app permissions - are you sure you have push notifications enabled? Do you receive any others?
Nerd City I get notifications for the other creators that I have a bell on for. I typically only do that for creators that don’t post regularly. Shane Dawson, Idubbbz, you. I manually looked up your channel to see if you had posted anything. Oh well. I found your Twitter- so I’ll just keep up that way. It just pisses me off because I seriously have notifications for like three channels. They just like to send me notifications for channels that I don’t care enough about to know every single time they post.
After thinking about it- I usually know that Shane and Ian post thanks to Twitter. My notifications are a lot of Philly D and Pewdiepie. I don’t have notifications on for them. Lol.
