America Has A Problem is so much more complicated than what’s it perceived to be. It really bothers me that people don’t get it and brush it off as some dance song. For me, it’s Beyoncé challenging this country to try and get their pitchforks and attempt to burn her at the stake like they’ve done other wise women in the past. Her platform, her voice and her marketability allows her to be this cocky…she doesn’t fear you. America may have gotten away with that back in the day but this ain’t that…my Goons ( not the ones y’all think, I’m guessing she is referring to OGUN) is on standby ready to take action. This is her warning after they tried to cancel her for that black panthers performance at the Super Bowl. She ain’t scared and that’s powerful coming from a free woman of color in todays world.
