I regret that I sold mine. That was a long time ago. But if you want to take that thing next level, check out a integrated tail with built in blinkers, a double bubble, and brighter headlights. The bike would look way more modern. Those things are so sweet. I had full yoshi on my and it dyno'd at 146whp, not insane but the bike is pretty light. Love hondas
A 954rr was the first bike I ever drove. I was 16 with no license and I would do anything to re live those 15mins of fun and adrenaline I had on it going 130mph up and down my road
Thanks dude! Honestly feels pretty much the same. Intake and exhaust are stock standard apart from the slip on. HTEV valve and air box flapper are untouched. Sounds much nicer though.
watch out for the Transmission, mine started slipping in 4th. with 80k km. overall very nice bike, with loads of torque and more than enough power to scare me
ordinary.artistry unfortunately not yet, the one I wanted which was red got sold. It’s winter now so I’m holding out till spring but I got my eye on a couple, they are both black though🤷🏻♂️ oh well I’ll take whatever I can get as long as it it in good shape
0:34 why'd you wait to start it? fuel pump or something...? How you like that rubber? The Road 5's right? I'm now on S22's since my previous preference Power 2's were discontinued. I thought about getting the Power 5's but after not seeing very many positive reviews compared to the many positive reviews sometimes glowing reviews . Bike looks frkn great. Almost as nice as my '07 lol
Yeah, I always let the fuel pump do its thing before I fire up. I do really like the Road 5s. Plenty of grip for what I do. If I were to do it again though, I'd probably go for something a bit sportier since I never really ride this bike in the wet anyway. Maybe Rosso IIIs or Corsas.
@@ordinary.artistry just keep in mind need to ride at a certain aggressiveness for the tire to reach optimal temp the higher you go in sportiness of tires. So some dont reach that temp and are overkill for some bikes and it's riders.
It says to do that in the manual. There is a red light on the speedo that will be on once this finishes and all checks are complete it will shut the red light off and remove the FI indicator on the speedo. Showing all fuel system and ecu conditions have been met to start.
Do you get the weird tinny sound when you rev the bike up when it's in Neutral? I'm getting it on mine, and it sounded like you have the same thing, but couldn't really tell. These bikes make so many noises, hard to tell what's normal and what's not. Love the exhaust sound though.
@@JMackin1016 954's make random noises. But their hondas and they last forever. It may be the cam chain tensioner slapping. Completely normal stuff man.
@@Dan_Moto I have a 954rr and it makes ticks and clicks I’m always worried about it. It’s not a CCT sound it’s more of a valve tick, like the click in this video. Could it be related to valve clearance? Bike and 25k miles and preforms perfect just noisy engine. Glad to hear their reliable tho so I try not to worry about it.
@@YoungMulahBB I’m glad I’m not the only one I hear so many noises I’m not sure if it’s me imagining things or if something is actually off but been running fine for so long I assume it’s okay

That must have been an absolute blast dude! 16 going 130 on a 954rr. I'll kill to have that kind of life.
I'll buy for my 929. Thanks for this video, it helped me to chose the right one for my need.
One of the best 954s I've seen. Hope you still have it.
I have this same bike/color combo with an OLD ASS Yoshi R&D pipe. I LOVE the way that Dominator looks!
I had the red and black with the opposite color scheme. The bike is so beautifully designed.
Thank for this video now I know what it sounds like and to honest it sounds like my titanium yoshimura pretty sweet tone over the whole rpm range
so clean, I want one .
congrats on the bike man, it is spot on!
Thank you!
Why is the brake fluid blue or green tinted???
Honda CBR 954 RR Fireblade SC50 е много добър мотор
My old moto ....now i want this dream .....honda 954 top of the top
Best blade Honda ever made regret selling my one
Just bought my second one, and after owning 2006 and 2009 fireblade I’d rather the 954. Not as much top end obviously but so much more fun.
Such a good bike huh. Great balance of low weight, midrange and top end power.
Nice bike bud just bought one myself 👍
1:45 agreed. Looks much better. Tbh those oem cans only look good on the SuperHawk
I have a Two Brothers pipe on mine and it sounds awesome.
how are the Road 5 on the blade. On the z1000 they works top.
Is the hp1 also have a option to remove the db killer?? Do you have it on on the video?
It did come with a db killer but I did not have it installed in the video.
Loving the look and the sound of your end can. Can you comment on any performance changes? Thanks.

Sebastian Lange thanks for the heads up👍🏻 the one I’m looking into has less than 30k KMS. Should be fine?

Hi, Beautiful Gorgeous Bike... Would Love to see about getting my Hands on one... Any Major Problems with yours... Any Tips...
A tad shorter would have been fantastic! Still great sound&looks! I assume HP1 model had no silencer installed, right?
That looks amazing
Nice sound...nice bike!
Lovett beyond words
why doesn't anyone put down the year of their bikes on these youtube videos?
The 954rr was only made for 2 years and they were identical for both years so listing the year isn't really nessesary
Timeless classic 👌, I have a 2001
954 came in 2002 🤔

What is the little red button on the right for. Not the engine kill switch its literally a little red button.
appears to just be part of the windshield. You can see those red dots all over. (edit: like red bolts)
So do you have it tuned with some type of software or power commander, as well as a k&n filter?
Nope. Pretty much all stock apart from the exhaust. HTEV and airbox flapper still in place, so it runs well without a tune.
You lucky duck. Very nice.
Qué máquina eso solo lo hace Honda
Wish i could own one... But too expensive own one in India 😭
Привет , сколько владеешь этим мотоциклом ?как мотор ? Слышал , что у 954 задиры бывают на двигателе ? Масло не ест?
