    Hi Alisha, thankyou for your videos. I'm stil confused by the use of noun after any. I have a question. I've read a question like "Do you have any idea?" ("idea" here is a singular countable noun, so using "any" in this case is correct or not. Similarly, "Do you have a dictionary/Do you have an orange? (a & an in these cases are correct or not? Thank you.

    But Alisha, sometimes when I'm working on my computer, happened to appear this demand: "please, press any key to continue" ... Does this have a different rule?

      This is an information for you which is given from your computer. And this is not a request or question or an offer. So it has "any".

      When you are refering "take whatever you want" or "press whatever you want", etc. You must use any. That's why your computer shows you "any" intead of "some"
