I thank God that I have been able to live in Los Angeles (this is literally the HOMELESS CAPITOL IN THE WORLD) for well over a decade and have clothes on my back, a roof over my head and food on my table whenever I want. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Watching from Canada and organic food here cost an arm and a leg they feed us GMOs and all the garbage man made meats and stuff. We have such short growing season with crazy winters. My dream is to move back to Africa get a piece of land have some farm animals, fruit trees and live off the grid a self sustaining lifestyle. Life in the diaspora is not what you always thing there are so many challenges you have to overcome to make it. Those in Kenya need capital to start a business. Where do they get the money from?. Let us not paint abroad as a bad place. The thing is to tell them the truth that you can't change from a goat into a cow just by relocating.

That's true my brother. I was a senior person in a very prestigious parastatal and had worked there for 14 years but had to leave when the place became too small for me. Most of the Kenyans I know here are very respected.
Even here in Australia and particularly in Melbourne. I came here with nothing but with God’s help I have studied and have a great career. I know many people who are like me who have made it, own homes, have jobs/careers etc.
Every story is personal. Homelessness is associated with a lot. Thanks you came out. You had a strong workholic foundation in the USA that's why you made it in Kenya.

This is what many Africans lacked for so long. Loving our countries (and the entire continent as a whole) and make sure we develop them the same way those developed countries were developed by their own patriotic individuals. I truly loved this interview and keep it up guys.
Having grown up in America but lived in Kenya its fascinating to listen to someone talking w an American accent with a Kenyan background on a shamba in Central HIghlands !and of course with all the concepts.experiences transitions.Its an awesome world God has made.
I only wish he could be used as a youth ambassador to put different ideas into our youth. Those selling land left to them by their parents may follow his example

The grass is not always greener on the other side. Watching from Canada and organic food here cost an arm and a leg they feed us GMOs and all the garbage man made meats and stuff. We have such short growing season with crazy winters. My dream is to move back to Africa get a piece of land have some farm animals, fruit trees and live off the grid a self sustaining lifestyle. Life in the diaspora is not what you always thing there are so many challenges you have to overcome to make it. Kama ulikua mbuzi African usifikirie ukikuja ulaya utabadilika ukuwe ngombe utabakia tu mbuzi. Ulaya haibadilishi mutu.

It serves to inform all of us that it is possible to develop Africa into a healthy population. Organic farming is the way to go for a healthy people. It is possible and profitable. We are what we are as a result of what we eat. Most so called New Farmers are, unfortunately, unwittingly, turning their lands into small chemical laboratories. We need to Get Back To Natural ways of growing food... Asante Sana

That's true my brother. I was a senior person in a very prestigious parastatal and had worked there for 14 years but had to leave when the place became too small for me. Most of the Kenyans I know here are very respected.

Even here in Australia and particularly in Melbourne. I came here with nothing but with God’s help I have studied and have a great career. I know many people who are like me who have made it, own homes, have jobs/careers etc.
