- The French indefinite pronouns (les pronoms indéfinis) replace a group of words made of an indefinite adjective and a noun. They are: un autre une autre - d'autres - certains certaines - chacun chacune - plusieurs - quelque chose - quelqu'un - quelques-uns quelques-unes - quiconque - personne - tout - tous toutes - un une (l'un l'une).

I am so grateful that you put those seemingly scary grammar terms (pronoun, noun, adjective, etc.) in your teaching. I've been confused by many common French words for so long as I was never sure how to use them correctly. But as soon as I saw you put those words neatly into their corresponding categories, everything became clear right away and I am more confident in using them now. It seems most teachers try to avoid grammar terms as perhaps they don't want to scare people off, but that's exactly why the usages of those words were never clear to me until now. You are the best! Merci beaucoup!
From my experience, it really depends on the person actually, some get almost scared if you use proper terms :D But I am glad that my lessons helped you to unlock a new level of French! Keep going 🤩
I love how you say the numbers in French. It helps me a lot. Numbers are kind of tricky sometimes. Merci
De rien :)
Finally can catch up after a busy week 🙏 merci beaucoup pour votre leçon 😁
Tout le plaisir est pour moi Stephanie 🤩

Also liked the "quelque chose me dit que" as a type of preminition (I don't think that ...), have seen many times "quelqu'un(e) m'a dit que" (like the song) or even "on m'a dit que" as a translation of "I was told" and overcoming the problem where the subject is not doing the action/verb and not reverting to tricky constructs like se faire/se laisser etc
C'est vrai ;) Attention que quelqu'un ne peut pas être féminin ;)
Thank you so much mam, god bless you
Most welcome 😊
Merci beaucoup madame 🌹🌷🌺
De rien :)

Merci encore, Dylane!
De rien
J'ai le fait! Merci.
Très bien David :) Attention de mettre le pronom avant le verbe, je l'ai fait ;)
Thank you very much for the lesson. May I suggest that you slow down a bit for us (the slow learners)?
Will do :)
7:32 Oui
I really do get confused in adjectives and pronoun but I think I got over that:D
And YES, I will like a lesson on tout,tous...
The lesson about TOUT is already up :D
Formidable ❤😍
Merci :)
And your last video was very helpful.
Merci ☺️
Yes pls do a video on tous
I did it, check out the videos after the course it's there :)
Oh mon dieu!...I learnt all these words/pronouns just by reading comments and subtitles on you tube learning videos. Haven't read any book so far in French. 😄
Soon you will :D
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane I guess so...but beforehand that I need to be more confident with your teaching.
👍👍👍
Oui s’il vous plait make a video on all the tous, tout and so on.
C'est sur ma liste :)
Incroyable lecon, Dylane. Tres succinct. Is succinct also a French word? Phonetically, it sounds like it might be.
It is actually ;)
"Quiconque apprend le français sait que cela prend du temps" cette phrase me plaît. 😁
:D
Merci beaucoup! I have two quick questions, in the examples, why is it Je vais 'EN' prendre un autre? and later, why is it Personne ne connaît (without pas), another great video thank you!
EN prendre is more of an expression, that only works for prendre.
Pas isn't necessary because we have personne already. "Personne ne" = nobody at the beginning of the sentence. If in the middle of the sentence: "Je n'ai vu personne" = I saw nobody.
I hope it helps 😉
Bonjour Dylane !😚
Bonjour Shila :D
Dylan, ma belle prof, dit-moi...do I really have to buy few books of these grammar lessons which I have been religiously learning with you??
Aren't they all encompassing?? Or, there is more for us to learn?
Please guide me! 🙏
You can if you want the notes and exercises ;)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane but aren't these lessons so comprehensive??
Am I missing much more which is only available in books??
Thing is I don't want to pressurize myself, means overburden myself with books rather want to have most fun with learning language.
I would have tried to insert 'pas' after connaît: Personne ne connaît pas la réponse? Why would that not work? THANKS!
Because the personne is also part of the negation :)
Hello the rose of the french
Bonjour Rania ❤️
Cela nécessite une pratique intensive.
Je confirme ;)

Bonsoir Madame.
I tried much to get your book, but can't able in our country. By the way manage to get A 1 book of Alliance Francaise.
That's why I also sell the PDF version ;)
Good job as always - mon petit doigt me dit que -> un petit oiseau me dit que (a little birdie told me that ...)
Ohhh now that you say it, I definitely heard it before!
❤❤❤❤😘
Salut Jasmin :D
Sorry Dylane .. I was not coming for 1 or 2 days because my school has opened so i was busy for few days😄
Oh don't worry about it, that's why the videos are on UA-cam, so you can watch them anytime :)
Yeah ..
So weird, Personne means NOBODY, if I add an article then Le Personne becomes somebody or because the sentence is in negative form?.
The more I learn French, the more I get confused, par example: "I miss you", French would say "Tu me manques" instead of "Je te manque", why?.
That's a good question Lou 😅 I am not sure to understand your question about La personne tho :/
Mam how can i buy this book
On my website or on Amazon ;)
I have heard English people say, "My little finger tells me. . ." but I have never heard an American say it.
That’s interesting!
Yes, I would like a little bit more work with Tout and tous etc. ie. if tous means everyone, why bother with tout le monde? I'm still a bit muddled anyway...
I will Mike :)
