During the last Guarma mission, I went into the part of the pause menu where you can see your weight and all that, and saw a debuff called "unwell". I wish I hadn't googled what causes that debuff...

If you look closely, Arthur's blue eyes start to turn slightly greener as he gets sick. Sometimes somebody's eye colour can change colour if they get really ill.

Thats the polar opposite and thats why he looks so brutal after guarma and probably took whatever time he had left out of him and quickly
I knew that he had to die at the end, but I was not ready for him to die. His journey from bad ass outlaw to trying to be a better/good person was such a good redemption arc.

Which i think can relate to irl growth via yourself or others, even pets i suppose. if your around them, everyday for that matter, especially in self perspective, it may be hard to see the gradual changing. Not much time actually passes in game but it sure fucking feels like it down the line man. The older I get the more i feel that way too.

For those wondering, tuberculosis is EXTREMELY expedited by being at sea or in tropical environments. Normally, in a relatively temperate climate without a lot of drastic changes, tuberculosis doesn't readily manifest for sometimes many years. Arthur going out to sea and being shipwrecked in the Caribbean greatly accelerated his disease, which is why his health starts to deteriorate so rapidly.
