- Citizen Tsuyosa yellow(NJ0150-81Z) and green(NJ0150-81X) watch review was requested a lot. Here is handson Tsuyosa yellow and Tsuyosa green after six months on my wrist. This will be a true user experience and watch review together for comparision of these two Citizen Tsuyosa Yellow and Citizen Tsuyosa Green colors.

I own the yellow one and love it. On a cloudy, wet, dark day it simply makes you happy

They're both beautiful watches. I own the yellow, and I'm very pleased with it. I do have to say that I like the date complication with the cyclops, and I agree that the crown is a pain. Great review, thank you!

Just to add on the comprehensive review, hacking is available on the tsuyosas manufactured after Jan, 2023. Mine with the green dial has the hacking function

The watch looks in real live way better than ANY camera can capture. It feels cheap if one holds it in the hands, but it is so freaking comfortable on the wrist. And the dials are really great! With all the downsides of it i still love that piece!

I own the green one for two months, and already have fallen in love with it... Actually, I was in the chase after the yellow version, as it was rated as a "must have", but I've managed to find the black and the green first. I didn't hasitate much and I bought the green one.
Last week I got the call from the local dealer that they have one yellow in the shop, and I run to see it. I was ready to buy it imidiately, but when I have compared it with my green Tsuyosa,...I've gave up. The contrast is so much better on the green dial. So, as far as you ask me, the green one, which I bought more or less accidentaly is definetely a better choice!

The Tiffany blue one for me, it’s so much more understatedly classy than all the others
The Pantone Pink edition is really beautiful.
Yellow will definitely pops up more, but if I were to pick one, I would go with the Green as it is more versatile, and can be worn on multiple occasions.
I’ve got the Tiffany blue one but love the yellow as well.

I have the turquoise blue one which I love but agree that I’d love it more with no date. I am hopefully getting the yellow one for my birthday, it just looks so beautiful. I also like this size on my 6.5 inch female wrist.

I have the light blue version. I do agree with most of your negatives about the watch, except for the cyclops date window. I’m getting older and for my eyes the cyclops magnification is a god send 😄 Great review.
It somehow distorts the numbers but.. But you are right, I am also having difficulties reading the dates on my watches. I guess I should accept being old and start using glasses soon :)

I just bought the yellow for USD250, bargain! Got the yellow because I already have two greens, a Tissot PRX tiffany and a Seiko Presaage SSA441J1. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
I had a hard time choosing between these two, but I felt the yellow just edged out the green. Really happy with it.

I want the green. I think I'll buy this week. I been on Movado really hard buying 4 within 3 month period but I bought a gold citizen and it looks really classy. I love the green watch its definitely an eye catcher

Love the watch. Hate the crown lol. The lume is mediocre but not an issue for me. Watch keeps pretty good time at about 6 or 7 seconds fast. Love how the bracelet fits snug. I completely forget I have it on sometimes. I got the white dial it’s so clean and goes with anything. The hour markers pick up the light nice. I’m one of the people that like the cyclops on the date because it actually works and makes the view easier.
Great video for whom to trying to decide to buy or not to buy... In my opinion if it will be the only one wrist watch, then the green one would be better for casual use but for me while I have a few different options like black, blue, silver and white, I would use this as a chance to have a yellow dial watch. Because all of my watches are affordable ones it's not very important for my case but for whom has much expensive watches with standard color watches, yellow dial would be a great choice especially for the weekend relaxation.

I would choose yellow. My son ordered the Tiffany blue which I think looks very nice.
I've got the tiffany/light blue and yellow. I gifted the dark blue to my father. I mostly wear the tiffany/light blue as it fits my outfits better. The yellow is stunning but more difficult to match clothes with. In hindsight I wish I bought the green instead of the yellow

If I had the yellow, I would pair it with my nubuck Timberland boots, light wash straight/regular fit jeans, and a graphic t from Carhart or w/ cotton or linen shorts and a white t or your favorite casual shirt. I just wanted to remind you that the Tsuyosa collection was made for summertime.
Thankfully the cyclops can easily be removed with a butane lighter and the clasp can easily be replaced but might not have a citizen logo on it. As for the movement I’d have to check some other Miyota movements to see if it could be swapped for an upgrade.

Just ordered a Yellow one. This was an opportunity for me to get my Hands on a more Colorfull watch. I think i would never buy a Watch that pops that much if it was a couple Thousand bucks.

I own the yellow and I am buying the green shortly. I like it alot. the only thing that annoys me is how the strap folds down from the top of the lugs. it sticks out a bit much. but overall a great wear. I was wearing the yellow alot in the summer. I am trying to decide on my Rolex purchase if I go with a green OP or a black sub, so hoping the green version of this might help me decide if I can wear this in all occocions or if a black dial will be better as an all rounder. I like to match accessories like socks, scarfs and pocket squares to the watch as well.
Maybe i will pick tiffany one insted of green or yellow, and those two are very beautiful. I'm honestly not sure which one I'd take out of the three
I just got my with tiffany blue shipped from hk, with shipping all together about $270 for this watch I have nothing to complaint
Picked the yellow one today. Its pretty big for my small wrists, but i think its ok
I wish these watches were solar eco-drives. Better yet, radio-controlled solar watches. Wait a minute... I already own a very nice titanium Citizen Atessa watch! But it's black. So, still: I like the dial of the Tsuysa yellow, like the light-colored stainless-steel case and bracelet. These would be perfect cheerful every day or beach summer watches, if available with the features I mentioned.
Faded Turquoise is my fav but don't think it was released at the time of this video

I have a doubt what to buy TISSOT PRX 42 mm automatic or CITIZEN TYSUOSA because there is a big price difference between two ????
I own the yellow light blue and black love them o ly draw back is their automatic but love still
To be honest i was considering going for the light blue one but im leaning more towards the yellow

I have the light blue dial and its beautiful. It was a tough choice between the blue and yellow. If I'm going to buy another one, it will be the yellow dial.

Little late on the pole... Green, Green, Green. Loved it so much had to have. As I have gotten older i apprciate the cyclopse for viewing the date, cheap as it might be many any compliments. The untrained eyes who have seen this thought it to be a mucher more expensive watch. But to us who have maybe too many watches know. I wear it way too often as I don't open my watch case lately to switch.

I purchased my Tsuyosa 4 weeks ago and had it my wrist almost daily.
I had the luck to try on every of the now 7 colors.
As almost everyone I tried the yellow one first, but immediatly decided against it. Although yellow is my favorite color, it didn't look well on my wrist. But perhaps I'm too old school.
It took me almost half an hour to decide between the navy blue and the green one. At last, I bought the green Tsuyosa.
It's a very beautiful watch, looking "more" than it is. But even I had it onmy wrist almost every day since, there is one major issue, the wrist.
I tried several lengths for my 185mm wrist but couldn't find one, that is really comfortable. Too long and it slides into the wrist (prefer a position slightly above) or it slides up the arm.
No problem you might think, but the bracelet is really "edgy" aka sharp. So it feels not as comfortable as everyone on UA-cam tells, at least for me, when wearing it a few hours.
I'll kee the watch and will put in on, but only every other week or so.

I like how light it is. Dress watch and also easy to use it casual. That crown is a real pain in the a$$. Overall, even though I had to overpay for hyped and rare dial color “Tiffany”, I’m enjoying this watch as much as I can.
Yep... I am yet to see the newer Tiffany blue color in person but that one looks promising in review videos too.

I would go with green the one
I like the yellow only if I also have the green. If I can only have one, I will take the green. I've never cared for the color green when I was a child, but it's now one of my favorite colors. I would prefer the crown to be at the 3 o'clock position. I used to have a Seiko 5 with the crown at the 4 o'clock position and it was annoying to use.
Yeah it is also hard to use such a small crown :( I've seen many green dial watches this year and believe me, the green on the Tsuyosa is by far the best shade of green IMO
I need a daily watch just for the looks so the mechanism is not a con for me. I am between these two colors but tend to the green as it can be combined with more colors.
Yes the green is much more versatile and the shade of the green is amazing at this piece

Tissot is better built and better movement i think.. But the bracelet with no taper is kiling it. If you have the extra money, i would still go with the gentleman

35secs a day or total 35secs in 4 days? For 4 days a total of 35secs is perfectly normal in my opinion(considering the price point). Generally new watches will settle down a little bit in a few weeks.

Well I didn't wait at all. I have a much bigger UA-cam channel in another language and my local dealer helped me to get the first green one. The yellow one was also hard to find here but a friend bought it from Dubai for me. I believe you may source it from Dubai shopping sites. Unfortunately I don't know any :(
I love the cyclops, hate the bracelet. I also agree that it should have a 9000 movement in it. I’m waiting for the multicolor to drop in price.

Both dials are gorgeous but I am seriously considering getting the yellow one. It just looks so joyous. However, the movement is a bit of a turn-off so I really don’t know…
Unfortunately you are right about the movement.. It is probably a long lasting one but time keeping is nowhere near swiss ones IMO.
Do you mean that it stops, delays, or escapes in time keeping? Not punctual?

This all day and twice on Sunday. They ruined this by not puttting a 9-series movement. Sorry, not willing to have 3hz and unidirectional winding.

I'm a newbie. What are the downsides to having ancient movement? It's mechanical, so as long as the alloys are modern it should work well right? (In my newbie logic!)

PRX is a much much better watch IMO. Details .movement, bracelet.. all is superior

How long is the power reserve?
Power reserve is about 35 hrs for me.. time keeping is not great out of factory but can be regulated easily
I've gotten more compliments on my rose gold version than my yellow dial version.
