- Ok we are back in the mighty Remora 490!
Many people have been asking me to measure it to get exact measurements, so we do that and also talk about the contruction, design and see how smooth and quiet it us through some chop at speed.

Thanks for the follow up video and details on this boat. I have a Cruise Craft Resort 500 and looking to repower. I love the idea of good fuel economy and longer range so the figures you are getting with this Suzuki 100 look like it would match well with my boat. Have you weighed the boat on the trailer fully fueled? My Cruise Craft Resort 500 is 1120kgs including single axle trailer.
Hey, I've had a 115 on a 533 cruise craft and the performance wasn't anything amazing. Tbh i wouldn't fit anything less than 115hp to your boat
@@BaitBallin Hi, thanks for the advice. There is a big difference in fuel economy between the DF100 with the 1.5L motor versus the DF115 using a 2L motor. And this Remora 490 seemed to perform quite well considering the number of people and gear on board, which is why it had me intrigued on the weight. I appreciate you help.

How does the Lancer handle pulling the boat out at Hanging Rock at low tide? Was down there last week and the guy next to me struggled with his RWD Colorado to get up the ramp with his boat on the back.
Haha yeah can't say it's a great car for these duties. Haven't had any issues though. Peter will be getting a better two car soonish

Gee you have to dunk that trailer deep, on some ramps you will need to get the vehicle in the water to launch.
It's very easy, like any other boat....
