Thanks for that...really genuine comparison from someone who knows. Really good info particularly because you have come out of Fiberglass off shore boats. Very interesting. Im in a 2005, 5.7 Trailcraft Sports Cab, lovin life in my rough diamond
no worries! a guy in a 35ft flybridge once said to me, no matter what you put in the ocean. it's still the ocean, when it's rough, everyone has to put up with it. so we are largely talking about comfort factors... many boats can safely go offshore I the right hands
I loved your video. You made some good points about the larger size boats. I would be interested to hear your views on the Extreme range of boats in a future video. I am thinking of buying either a Surtees or Extreme boat around 6.5 metres. I would like to go larger, but they are very expensive and I don't really need the extra deck space.
personally between those two, in those size ranges I'd go the Surtees. but that's only because I know from experience that Surtees are a very good performer, I don't have enough experience with extreme to comment. but they also look great. If you get a 650 gamefisher and ensure trailer has electric brakes etc you would love it no doubt.
Like you vids mate and your honest rounded veiw. The only thing I would say is spend a week in my 780HT and I reckon you'll change your mind. The comfort level and space is really noticable but then so is the cost.
I have no doubt! don't mean any offence. same thing as 750 game Fisher, just comes down to cost I guess for what you get..... hard to justify for me anyway. but, bloody weapon of a boat for sure
Thanks for your vids. I am enjoying your research level of each manufacturer as I am trying to decide on my next boat. I am a fan of putting the maximum horsepower onto boats and am curious what the max speed of your Bar Crusher is? Keep up your great work. Cheers Graeme
no worries! enjoy the boat hunting. my boat isn't fast, top end wise. prob only about 70kmh. but she's got exceptional torque even with full boat and gear. and that's my opinion even after coming from mercury optimax and ETEC G1/G2 (2 strokes)
late update: I can't stand the way the air chambers on srabicrafts stick out so far into the deck. fishing and bracing yourself up against the side is aweful and just doesn't work. they really need to sort that out.
Cheers thanks mate great to hear. I'm driving 14 hrs round trip to the factory in Melbourne for a Look see and to fit her out. Going easy on the accessories just the essentials with the exception of a roof top shade and side clears. I can't really afford the 730 but at least the family will be safe and we'll have a boat for life. Well that's the plan. I'll primarily be fishing out of Eden and the weather is never nice. Not when we go out anyway 😁
Yeah they are a weapon for sure.... Not really suited to my style of fishing (a centre cab in general), but I can definitely see the appeal of that boat for people who will genuinely flick lures off the front regularly etc.
yeah not sure, they are pretty basic inside obviously. interior layout etc. only the barcrusher and Stabicraft made me go wow, that's nice. Surtees also pretty basic inside. I see the Mclays out wide often and they certainly seem to be handling pretty well.
Gotta 730 ht..bar crusher says it's the best model ever..been in sum big weather and blu away a 670ht..sorry mate..cause ur gotta 670ht..seen and done that..bar crusher it's self say the 730 is the weapon...

Lovin’ your videos mate! Giving me my fix whilst I wait for my 670HT turn up in a few weeks! Keep up the great work legend.
will do! you will love it. mine makes me smile every time I climb onto it. magic boat.
Up grade mate..730
Appreciate your honesty. Cool vid.
thanks man! it's not a simple equation unfortunately..... hope this made some sort of sense

and be careful with offers like that because I will take you up on it.... then Il probably be making a 780ht is the champion video! ; )
@@BaitBallin I did have a differant set of boxes I must add, scuba diving takes up a lot of room!
Got 615 bow rider decked out with clears don't get wet outside lovingg our bar crusher great video champ
yeah nice, love the bowriders. casting deck on those things amazing!
owning ONE boat only is hard sometimes : )
What outboard did you go for with the 615br? Would you have chosen differently in hindsight and why?
btw, Great vid BB...
@@trentjeffery448 susuki 140 seems a good match 150 prob bit better but not complaining
Thoughts on Extreme Boats out of NZ?
Yep very very good, extreme 645 review coming soon!

As of right now , we in the states can only get the stabicraft here, and thats only in small numbers...tks
Yeah all good. They are very nice, we just have more affordable options here I guess
Maybe the reason the Bar Crusher is cheaper than the Surtees is that it’s cheaper to copy what someone else did all the development on.
The reason it's cheaper is pretty simple. NZ boats have to pay quite expensive import costs which get paid by the buyer.
I like your attitude bro great boat the 750.. I must admit I got one .beast .
agree, but I ran one into a rock at 60kph and it didn't sink!!! so that's a good thing hahaha.
@@BaitBallin that’s why aluminium is the way to go.

Love watching bait ballin video 👍
thanks mate, I never know if anybody is interested so this is good feedback
Love your vids mate. Have you had experience with the 730 ht?
I wanted a 670 ht but didn't want to wait till xmas so i put a deposit on a 730 ht
I asked that question before I watched the vid lol
haha yeah definitely a cut above, if you can swing the dough, do it!
670ht best boat for bang for your buck, but 730 is a beast for sure! lovely proportions also. great boat

weather is never nice when I go either! hahha
In rough weather I’d have to go stabicraft
yeah, these plate boats are all pretty good. not awesome. I think many people simply expect to much, most of my boats have been glass actually
One of the more slammy tinnies the stabi. Osprey offers a better ride in the pontoon category, if pontoons are your thing
Stabicraft 2250 centercab is one sexy looking boat.
Yeah they are a weapon for sure.... Not really suited to my style of fishing (a centre cab in general), but I can definitely see the appeal of that boat for people who will genuinely flick lures off the front regularly etc.
Extreme
What u do as a job?
Project manager.....
What do you do for a living?
IT project manager.... but before that just about everything else ; )
hi mate have you been in a mclay
no I haven't, pretty sweet looking boat and well priced from what I've seen.
@@BaitBallin would love to know how soft they ride

Don't worry my next boat likely not a trailer boat....
But agree the 730 is awesome!
I need to be more carefull with my money because I don’t have enough to by anything I want unlike you sorry mate It is what it is
I bought this boat based on value for money.... Good product, excellent value.
