Man I’ve been saying this this whole time! Glad someone thinks alike! Reds did Votto wrong for trading him off to Toronto- they should have retired him there; via hitting coach
@@Timewave-Zer0 Usually great players aren't the best coaches. Love Joey....but he was being a little delusional. It was time for a break up. If a reunion happens so be it.
I've been a Reds fan since 1987 and we've been mediocre/bad for about 30 of those 37 seasons. I'm glad we have a manager with a track record of winning but I'm tempering my excitement until I see it with my own eyes. I'll be 50 soon and we haven't won a playoff series since I was 19 years old.
I really like the Reds rotation and Tito at the helm. But the lineup needs one more to be a force. Asking Matt McClain to be the answer (and not get hurt) is a big ask.
Congratulations to the reds! A great baseball mind like Tito is going to help that young crop of players learn how to gel and makes them an even bigger threat in the NL Central. The cubs got there guy in Craig Counsel. If the cardinals don’t make Yadier Molina their next manager and keep Marmol then we’re doomed. Every team in our division is improving roster wise and managerial as well. If we don’t make Yadi a manager he will go elsewhere and produce a World Series winning team mark my words.
If the the Dolan Family weren't so motherf'ing cheap and unwilling to spend money to put a perennial contender on the field, it's likely that Tito Francona would still be the manager of the Cleveland Indians, but according to reports, one reason that Tito left is because the Dolans were unwilling to spend money to bring in players that could help the Indians win a World Series and Tito's health problems also played a major part of why he retired from the Indians ,but thankfully Steven Vogt has had immediate success with the Indians and hopefully that will continue, I want to thank Tito for his years of success with the Indians and wish him nothing but success with the Reds except when they play the Indians and perhaps GOD willing a World Series between the Indians and Reds
He is going to be such a breath of fresh air for the Reds young squad.
Tribe fan. Much love and respect for Tito. All the best for Cincinnati.
Joey Votto hitting coach!

Good luck to Tito - good move for the Reds. Still need to get some talent though.

nothing is going to change with the cincinnati reds ,they need a new owner with a new general manager and new ideas

He left because he couldn’t stand the name change from the Indians. Bring back the Indians and that awesome logo!!!!

Need pitching Tito
Agreed. They have 6 good starters. Nick Martinez, Nick Lodolo, Hunter Greene, Andrew Abbott, Brady Singer, Rhett Lowder are all good big leaguers.
Hope he wins but the Reds ownership sux ass when spending money.
I thought terry retired to health concerns................................
Red Sox should have brought Tito back... Their current manager, Cora Sucks.
U don’t know wht ur tlkin bout maybe if the Red Sox can get some pitchin nd more bats ova there but they still were tops in runs scored
