I know the DW-H5600 was released on May 19th, but my perfect G-Shock would be the GBD-200 with Tough Solar and MB6/Bluetooth, but without any of the "smart watch" features.
Had mine about a month, love the display. Don't need the smart features, I just leave mine in Flight Mode which should also save the battery. Even month just hook up to my phone to adjust the time.
Doubt it's possible, the biggest downside of the casios that use those lovely MiP screens tend to last only 1 to 2 years with a standard cr battery. Which usually last 15 years in other G-shocks. I think a solar version would need sunlight constantly and the capacitors would be empty in only minutes, maybe an hour.
Just got the dark blue home, and I must say, it’s one of the best looking G-Shocks made. Love the new display. It’s an awesome little booger. And it’s not a dinner plate like most g-shocks of today.
