That's such an awesome bag.I have hobbies in leather craft since 1972 was taught by my retired uncle he learned from military in WWII.It was to rehabilitate him from an injury.I worked at it all these years while raising 3 daughter's.Now I'm 68 and retired myself.I love it but sometimes get discouraged. Your videos inspire me so much and give me that boot in the ass that everyone needs from time to time.Thank you Parker for sharing your family with all of us and the videos.Keep them coming.😎

I've always been impressed with your ethos of sharing your craftsmanship and love of leather working. It's not just "buy my stuff", but "here's my patterns, I'll teach you how to do it, I'LL TEACH YOU HOW TO OPEN YOUR OWN BUSINESS AS MY COMPETITOR!" It's all about the love of the craft and helping others to find their own joy. Keep up the amazing work.

what I love on the bag is that you stitch it with a machine without a guiding line and its spot on, when I try to stitch by hand its all over the place hooooww???

CRAFTSMANSHIP! Your choice of leather, the quality of the the cuts, and the precise stitching makes a bag everyone would be proud to show off. I can’t wait to see examples of these bags in 5 years after they have been used and cared for. Also love finding other people in Utah that dive so deep into technical art to create a one of a kind product.
Currently studying leather work to create a custom seat for my project motorcycle! Keep putting out these videos. We all love learning and seeing how you create each product!

This bad is as good as it gets: the lines of it flow together like an artwork; the size makes it both practical and functional. There are lots of peices and designs I like, and many that I aspire to build, but I can't imagine how this particular design could be better. Congratulations!

This project, like all your projects, adds little accents; like the shape of the front strap or the designs of the stitching lines. It's the little things that move your designs from simplex utilitarian to almost elegant art. Nothing extra, nothing left out. I would be proud to carry one of your backpacks.

    Parker,
THANK YOU!!!! I asked a couple months ago for a backpack video and well, now I have it. GREAT JOB! Someday I will own a clicker and a cylinder arm sewing machine. For now I am working with what I have.
I appreciate all you do for us. I have no formal leather training and use your videos to help me learn.
Have a great day and keep on making great things! K

I love that it designed after a saddle bag and has great structure to it! I also like the shade that was used. It has a classic feel to it.
This kind of stuff hits home for me as I love nature and having ways to be connected to that! This skill also holds dear as my uncle is now an amputee, has not been able to do nursing and has found his skill and artistic abilities something that can not only provide an income but allow his creativity to thrive and to earn some income. You did a great job on this bag and I'd be honored to be chosen. The smell of leather is home to me!

Hey man, I absolutely love your work. I spent about a month watching your videos and finally decided to dive in and start the art of leather craft and I absolutely love it! It feels so genuine to make something out of your bare hands. A reason I would like the bag, is so when people ask me how I got started into leather craft, I could pull it out and tell them a extremely humble man made this bag, that man convinced me that I could make beautiful pieces just like him.
Extending my gratitude to say thank you for the hard work you put into this channel ❤️

I am looking forward to seeing the next project and being amazed and blow away once again.

I love the simplicity of this bag’s design. It seems to be designed such that it could just as easily be stitched by hand as by machine. It also seems like a design that could easily be modified to suit a customer’s specific needs, by adding additional pockets on the inside or outside of the bag. I also really liked how the handle and straps were all riveted to the same panel, then that panel was added to the bag. The stress of the bag’s weight on will be dispersed across the stitches of that panel, so the straps won’t cause any stretching on the body panels. Loved this video, I think I might make myself one of these bag’s tonight!

Also, I wanted to just say thank you for sharing this part of you and your family’s life with the community. I know you’ve inspired me along with so many others to get into leather craft. I’ve learned so much through watching your videos.
I found your work at a perfect time in my life. After getting knocked down with one chronic illness after another, I lost quite a lot and have been left entirely home bound. In my search to find a new hobby that was accessible to me, I found an absolute passion in leather work. Your videos and work you share have been so motivating and inspiring. It has turned what otherwise may have been some pretty dark last couple of years into some joyful and creative ones! Leather working has brought some serious light into my days and for me, that all started by finding one of your videos. So for that, I just wanted to say thank you.
