Resin cake stand
I used Platinum Ultra Clear resin to make this resin cake stand. I used Castin Craft white pigment and pink and white alcohol ink from Pinata. I also added mica powders from Pixie Dust and LeRez.

Hey Julie, I don't want to presume to tell you your stuff because they turn out beautifully. I know that your don't like the blobs. I don't get blobs, mostly. Another person that I watch doesn't get them either, mostly. Pretty much the only difference is that neither of us heat after piping, no heat gun at all. Torching only before the pedals. Maybe give it a try and see what you think..

I leave my mixing jug on its side with an old stick in it. In the morning you pull the stick and the dried resin comes out.
I do the same, but I think Julie creates many resin works of art in one day, so wiping out leaves it available to use in a half hour or so 😁

Julie, you have to put washers on each side of the plates, protects each side of the plates, thats why you had spares. 🙂👍🙏

Those are beautiful. I wouldn't have put the gold on the edge I would have left it clear because it is so delicate I love it just clear. But it's each to their own way thats why it art right.

They look great, to keep the sizes more uniform you could place the moulds over a diagram and then 'trace' over with the resin ☺
