Do you hear any rattling with the spare tire after putting this rc setup? Right now I have the spaces bracket from rc and can hear a rattle with the spare tire on and plan on buying the reinforcement but question if it will solve my problem or should I save up for a whole new tire carrier.

    Any issues with rust?

That's a great bracket. Great video. You're lovely assistant Vanna should have her own video with a yellow Jeep... Just wondering, how did those NY Giants do in 2019? Just saying....

FYI you should stop turning the wrench when it clicks ... So did it help ? I'm thinking about installing one too, Thanks!

LIke I said in the description. Maybe not necessary because the JL tailgate is stronger but its more insurance as far as the reinforcement part. We have a new tailgate for our TJ because of not finding a solution for a while. Relocation bracket works. It's a nice setup up if you are not going to 37s for the forceable future. The "second click" you hear is the sound it makes after taking pressure off the wrench after the first click. The sound of the kick back I guess.

Great video, have a 2020 Rubicon JL 2dr and planning on upgrading to a 35x12.50. Did you have to do anything to bumpstops? Was wondering if the tire rattled the tailgate any. Definitely would do your same exact setup with the reinforcement. Thks for sharing 😊 👍

I have Bumpstops set to what is recommended by Teraflex. You should set those based on your lift manufacturer recommendations which might be updated at any time so check their website. If your Rubicon is stock, I don’t have this information or experience but if I find someone with your setup, I’ll check it out and get back to you.

Thanks for the video. I have a red JL and am looking to get 35x12.5 tires soon. Been debating on whether or not I need the reinforcement bracket, or if the tailgate and relocation bracket is sufficient. Tire wheel combo I’m looking at is about 95lbs, so 10 lbs over the suggested limit. Does the tire rattle around at all, or is it pretty stiff with the reinforcement? Did you have to adjust the posts that stick out to support the lower tire area?

One of my fellow club members came by the house with only the relocation bracket and is noticing issues with a 35. Tailgate won't open and close properly. I have the reinforcement on and have no issue, no noises. We have a yellow TJ and the tailgate is black because we made mistakes with not adding reinforcement with a 33" tire and had to replace the tailgate. We didn't want to test our luck with the JL. Better safe than sorry. This is probably the best budget solution. 5000K miles so far so good. Not sure what you mean by the posts that stick out. The video shows everything we had to do.

@@offroadobserver Awesome, thanks for the info. I like the price of this kit much more than the Mopar one! I was wondering about the rubber bumbers that the tire rests on when you tighten it to the bracket. They look like rubber door stoppers.

This fit 35s with no issues no far?
