This video was created to help new Jeepers learn about some of the basics of their jeep and encourage them to think of new questions they may have. Tipton 4x4 was kind enough to help with this video. The opinions in this video are not been to be a be-all end-all but rather just what we have encountered.

    I really want to get this front and rear bumper set for my 2021 rubicon but the fact that you have to switch to the Antirock Front Sway Bar Kit and cut the frame horns is really annoying

    If you drop that 4x4 handle, into 4 high and heat up the hand, ( after, either wrapping the plastic, or removing it) then you could borrow a guy you like, to pull it about two inches to the right, and it will stay in 4 low, when you put it there. The roll bar, won't be much of an issue, their solidly mounted, so for the most part, it's just vibration. That could lose the threads a little, but that won't be for years, and the rest of it will look a little like you might want to replace them. That at least, is less expensive, then buying all new seats. The color you picked, will make you a little crazy. You'll start to see the seems darkening, but they handle, even some of the toughest washings I ever seen. Good choice! Mine for seven years,...still get a lot of smiles, out of the rookies in my 1'st generation Dodge Dakota 4x4 club! Keep checking the corners of the frame, with your doors off, you have a better chance of bringing in water, and that creates rust in the most high quality mounts ,after a while. Good times coming,...A !?

    Cost for these supplies add up to about $40-$50. You can buy them already assembled and cut on eBay and Etsy for around $100 if you don’t feel like doing it yourself.

    About how long in total did the trail take?

    • @offroadobserver
      @offroadobserver 2 роки тому

      Leizurely 4-5 hours. So many nice spots to pull aside and chill. Unfortunately, I had to go back to camp and do some work that day and the rest of the group did 1 or 2 other trails that day.

      @@offroadobserver 4-5 hrs up or round trip? Alltrails is saying 10hr

    • @offroadobserver
      @offroadobserver 2 роки тому

      @@kevingt01 Now you are questioning my memory. But we went up and down it that morning and finished not too long after lunch. I don't think you would want to do more trails after this one. It is a constant bumpy shifting ride. You could do another a short trail afterwards but I would plan for going up and down it and spending the rest of the day in leisure. Go to town, sit around the campfire and check your bolts. Something is loose after that trail. the rest of MOAB we did were nothing like it.

    After 35 years of changing oil on my back, I still manage to make a mess! Anyway, I found if you use an actual bucket for the oil to drain in, you will be a lot less messy. Those oil change pans, that you buy at Auto Zone or Walmart, seem to facilitate oil splashing. Along with splashing comes the mess! As far as pouring in the new oil is concerned, I use the widest funnel I can find. Otherwise, I do what this guy did!

      Actually it fits perfectly. Zero tolerances. Very well made. The Jeep itself from the factory isn’t perfect. It is easily my favorite and 2nd most functional part on my Jeep. Ultraclearance and Light weightless. I’ll never regret it and will last longer than the tires I love that is more than that.
