Thank u very much! I actually am going to copy most of this, except for moving the capital, because that is to cheesy for me ^^' I actually did most of the things at the beginning like u as well, what I also suggest is deleting most of your fleet except for one ship in med and one between britain and mainland. Some extra coins don't hurt ;D
Exactly, I did that too, just forgot to put it in the guide 😂 also! The ONLY reason why I allowed myself to switch the capital was because the Romans actually did that themselves, only they moved it from Rome to Mediolanum (and Ravenna at some point?), so I felt it was actually rather historically accurate ;) glad you got some use out of it!
I was planning to do a video campaign demonstrating this. Yours is not bad at all. But I suggest that moving the capital is not a good idea at first. Well, the cities of North Africa will soon rebel, although lepis magna is not worth it.
people have such a closed-minded-ness, all you need to do is sell a bunch of buildings, disband your unneeded armies, and maybe give up on a few regions altogether - you are left with a colossus of a faction to kick off the game and probably steamroll within 15 turns
You can do this too of course, but I don’t think that’s truly canon for what the Romans would do, do you? I feel like it’s kinda cheesing the game to intentionally give up a whole lot of cities, but whatever makes you have a fun time is fine with me :)
@@Shrapnel57Technically yes, but a victory like that is quite hollow, just like your city garrisons on turn 3 when all of the barbarians and eastern romans start invading your lands.

Thanks, man :) and yeah, it’s always possible to make alterations to this setup!
Ports... literally just ports and Sarmatian Auxilia 😂
I went with the slavs and decided to raid the East hehe
Hahaha noooooo!! 🥲

You can win this campaign in 2 turns by dispanding all of your troops and buying Constantinople and needed cities from Eastern Roman Empire.
@@AndysTake well historically the Romans abandoned Tracia and Britania so at least is not unrealistic to leave 2 provinces
