Just remember that the old testament was the shadow of the new testament. We are not under the old covenant. God loves a cheerful giver. We are not commanded to tithe in the new, however if you decide to give then it is pleasing to God. Don't give to expect some return. Give responsiibly because you love the Lord. Jesus nailed all the curses that were against us on the cross. You won't be cursed if you don't give tithes.

Can somebody explain to me what the purpose of tithing is? Does titihing really benefit the parishioner or the pastor?
Read Malachi 3:8-12. It’s not for the pastor it’s what God said for us to do. We must obey Gods word he will handle the rest. God bless🙏🏾
