My god what a M A S S I V E mix ! ! ! I really miss LG, and Entombed itself as a whole coherent band. I went to a few concerts of them during the Lars Rosenberg on bass times. Actually at first I wasn't really into this Death and Roll stuff, but right after Peter Pan Speedrock from Eindhoven recorded with Tomas Skogsberg I was sold and completely stoked for this style.
This era of entombed is bar none my favorite. Death and Roll at it's best, and they matured into a beautiful group of musicians who were on a different level.
Gene Hoglan is the Atomic Clock, which I love as a drummer. But, Nicke's "passion mixed with precision" is really unique and unmatched. Either way, both are legends in my book... And, yes, RIP LG Petrov :(
Very underrated death metal drummer. Just blistering, intense and the total opposite of robotic. Even on the recent live album where they played Clandestine in its entirety, he still had that loose, crushing feel like any second the whole thing could fall apart. Exhilarating feel.
That is what I call Evolution, from the brutality of two first records to this monster To Ride.... through the Master Piece Wolverine Blues!!! Great band!!!!
@@TheReincarnatedDeath You're very correct! It's a mixture of Sepulturas modern and old school sound. It's fierce, tight but still very chaotic. Pablo (the one guy singing in the video, not playing drums) is an absolute beast when it comes to guitar.
@@timopeterfeef1843 The guy who is singing is not Pablo Minoli but Gregorio, and Laberinto had certainly Sepultura influences but you cannot forget they were from Guarenas (Venezuela) and they have huge influence of local "tambores de la costa" (Cumaco, music played by African slaves as a way to distract themselves from the fact they were there against their will).
@@timopeterfeef1843 The drummer is Marcos "Toro" Bernal, the second guy from the left (the one with the Venezuelan flag cap), he and Gregorio have now a band called Mosquito.
@@dyr234 He is a beast behind the kit! If you haven't already looked into it, he played drums on all their albums until Same Difference, he did vocals on Candlestine as well. And all the artworks/album covers.
These songs by Entombed were great, but the overal performance of Entombed was slightly dissapointing as they were unable to play any of the Left Hand Path stuff properly.
+Marco van der Made I doubt they were unable to play those songs as you say properly, guess they just were more into the death & roll stuff at that point.
RIP LG Petrov. Voice of a generation.
I heartedly agree.
Shame that this lineup couldn't keep it together for another album or two… or twenty.
Andersson+Cederlund+Hellid and LG together = excellent!!
I've told my wife today that I want this played at my funeral.

Can't get any better than this...I wish the whole show was available.
Miss ya LG, a true original and lifer!!
It is one year since LG's passing. I will smoke a few spliffs and drink a LOT of ciders tonight in his respect.
Best band in the 90s, as far as metal was concerned, no matter what anyone will tell you.

Nicke is a beast. He’s amazing in the Hellacopters but listen to him behind the kit! Damn.

@@Furens I’ll have to check out more Entombed then! Cheers bro
The best line-up. Such a band feel and energy.
Saw them the year before this. Fell asleep on the grass afterwards. Woke up later at night. So exhausted.
I was there! They were incredible!!
Arriba Venezuela Nojoda ❤
Thanks for uploading. R.I.P Lars 🖤🤘

I watch this at least one per week!!! I love this band!!!! Such a great talented swedens!!!!
Por siempre Petrov!!
The guitarist of Laberinto still has a band these days. It's called SEITA, they're from Amsterdam. Worth checking out!
I think I saw them a couple of years back supporting Vader & Neocaesar in Leiden. A modern Sepultura inspired band, if memory serves correctly.

My pleasure!

El señor PETROV haciendo de las suyas👌👌💀
I love and miss this band so much... so much fun with the Entombed around
LABERINTO!!!
Man, Nicke Andersson looked so different in the 90s
had a feeling that was him. i didn't even know he was in this band

LG PETROV WAS A FUCKING BEAST
What is the first song they played?
Like This with the devil
2nd track on "to ride..." Album
LG 2:24

Did they play any of the LHP songs in this concert?
To my knowledge one or two. LHP itself (partial) and... it's just too many beers ago ;)
+Marco van der Made I doubt they were unable to play those songs as you say properly, guess they just were more into the death & roll stuff at that point.
I think their best LHP performances are with Nico on guitar, after Uffe left. Alex almost always missed the solos, kinda sloppy playing.
Well...Nicke, Alex and Uffe played the whole Clandestine album and a couple of LHP song some weeks ago.
