I love Brax's recent HSR content. Not say that his previous Genshin guides are bad, it's just that his recent HSR content seems to have more character and personality put into it. Which is funny considering that HSR also has better personality than Genshin.
@Kazuha My Trailblazer level is only LV42 as of now. Only played at most 4 hours (usually 2 hours a day). It may seems like a lots of hours but compared to my Genshin gameplay hours it's nothing. Though from last week only able to squeze out at most 1 hour gameplay time (and usually even less than that cuz the only things to do is using up the stamina and completing daily mission) after reaching Trailblazer lv35~36. Meanwhile I speedran Genshin like crazy during patch 1.0 and it lasts me weeks. Bruh even Genshin's first event (Elemental Crucible) is not as lame as HSR's current event (Boxing thingy) and more enjoyable.
If spending money on this game makes it more fun to play for you, then I support your decision all the way. After all, what's the point of keeping a F2P status if you're not having fun.

We are on the way to get a job so we arent losing money, we are spending it on ourselves instead.

SU runs with him on Elation path are something else, it feels strange having this much fun with endgame combat content after so much time of Genshin being nothing but a chore
As I am f2p, I skipped Seele banner to save up for Jing Yuan and Tingyun. Having got them and his light cone (took 70 + 70 pulls but at least I won 50/50), I feel like I've just unlocked "easy" mode :) His combat mechanisms of building up Lenny's (yea I'm going to adopt this nickname) stacks reminds me of keeping Alhaitham's mirror stacks in Genshin - not too hard once you understood how they work and really satisfying to play. They both give off the _work smarter, not harder-guy_ air too.
@twistedfate62 yea my Seele is a monster that just doesn't stop attacking. But there is something that I love about Jing Yuen. Maybe it's because his ult doesn't blind me. Who knows lol
I figured march would be good with him because you can put a shield on him so he doesn’t take much damage but he’ll still get hit because of the taunt, giving him more energy
Thanks for the positioning tip on where to place him in the team, that was pretty good advice. I was surprised to see my Jing Yuan already had 2700 HP, so it makes sense I wouldn't put him all the way on the other side like a hunt character.
I got him yesterday and he's helped me so much already. Lenny's turn is so satisfying to watch. And Jing Yuan is satisfying to look at. It cost a lot of warps but no regrets. I managed to E6 Tingyun on the way so she's stuck to him forever now lol.
I started farming relics for -JingYuan- Daddy yesterday. Chances are the version you'll be playing wether it's Speed, ATK, or even ER variant will be decided by your luck. My advice would be to *not* go for a specific one as you might end up getting frustrated and/or might overlook pieces with great substat. As in every gacha remember folks, you don't chose who you play and how you play them, the game chose for you.
Just got Jing Yuan yesterday and I absolutely love him. Since i wanted him to be one of my main DPS i instantly came to watch this video. It really helped me a lot since i had most of the things mentioned in the video!
Just want to mention that one upside with Asta that seems to be always overlooked is the fact that she boosts the whole team, so while she doesn't buff as hard as Ting, she still possibly could bring more as much boosted damage just by boosting someone like Welt and Pela. Maybe even switch out Pela or Welt and have both Asta and Ting in the team. I dunno tho.

I really like having speed on Jing Yuan... attacking more often is just so fun, and getting those 10 hits on Lenny is so satisfying. Not to mention, more attacks = more skills = more energy faster
I do love his damage, i do supply pass and nameless and got seele early and managed to grab him and E6 Tingyun. His AOE is god in SU, his Lightning-Wielding Thunder-Clapping Spirit-Squashing Lord is great in Memory of Chaos. Seele was the AOE unit of the Hunt and it seems that Jing Yuan is the Single target unit of Erudition.
Finally someone who talked about how himeko’s lightcone is for him. I was convinced it was horrible and that breakfast was better but im glad i decided to go with himekos lightcone instead
Fun fact: Lightnin- Lenny helped me understand how speed works, there's an indicator (that for some reason it's off on default) that shows in battles a number on the characters in the turns order, the smaller the number is the closer it is to be the character's turn, how it works is that every character has a base 200 that gets subtracted by the character's speed (200 - speed, example with mc's base speed: 200 - 100 = 100 and that's the number you'll see on the mc's indicator if there aren't any speed modifiers and no turns has passed), Lenny helped me undestand that because his speed can't be modified except by the ult, 60, and the number on the indicator is 140, 200 - 60 = 140, and ult raises speed by 30 and I saw the indicator gets to 110, 200 - (60 + 30) = 110

I started watching this video to see how viable Jing Yuan really is because while I had a lot of fun using him via Support, I wasn't sure if I wanted to pull for him (I have my eyes on both Kafka and Blade AND am generally F2P qwq)-however he is just so good I had to pull Got him in the first 10pull so I will now assume this video has been blessed by Lenny himself for good Jing Yuan luck On a more relevant note: I really enjoy these build videos you make because there will always be something in them I haven't considered myself for characters I own, or they just help me understand a character I might be interested in pulling better and making a choice on that Anyhow-I am off now to go farm for this man....a lot....so much
Should i use speed boots instead of atk boots? Because my tingyun is using bronya signature LC but i cant do much with the 2nd effect of the light cone which gives 30% more dmg for whoever is next in action BECAUSE THE ONE NEXT IN ACTION IS ALWAYS NATASHA CAUSE SHES FASTER THAN MY WELT AND JING
Or just use the harmony dance light cone, only bronya could use that lightcone without a massive headache figuring out the speed since the current MoC blessing always reset the hunt and erudition character to the beginning of the cycle which btw, requires minimum 101+ speed (but get more to counteract the delay from the enemy) to get 2 turns per cycle.
SPEED BOOTS GET SPEEDBOOTS. ATK% is only for Whales who have the lightcones and some Edilons. for f2p it's best togo for Speed since we aren't finishing any battle in 1 turn on chaos halls anytime soon.
GF got insane Jing Yuan luck. Got him at 60 pulls in, then did a for fun light cone ten pull and got it. Needless to say im never rolling on my own account again.
It's not gonna give you the highest possible stats. But one option you didn't bring up is Passkey. With Passkey, you gain 12 additional energy every time you attack. Because of this, you can ult every 2-3 attacks depending on if he takes a hit.
After experimenting with jing yuan for a week now i can conclude, the best build is to go for space sealing station with speed boots, rest is as video, body for crit rate and if you are lucky enough substats for other relics should be crit damage, best build
I wanted a Sushang.. but it seems completing SU 6 with Seele rewared me with him (My character luck from Genshin is back!) Plus he's Jotaro's VA, so... STANDO POWAR!
Ah good, I'm not a P2W player and went for his lightcone cause I figured even S1 was better than anything else between ridiculous bonuses and high base stats, I guessed correctly lol. Also the bit about "A lot of people say he only does good AoE damage." .. then him being my best single target damager I have.. lol. He's no Seele but he's definitely no slouch compared to the non-banner options.

I think Asta is also a very good choice. Considering her Atk% and SPD buffs (and if you have Dance! Dance! Dance! on her you have Action Forward)

I started watching this video to see how viable Jing Yuan really is because while I had a lot of fun using him via Support, I wasn't sure if I wanted to pull for him (I have my eyes on both Kafka and Blade AND am generally F2P qwq)-however he is just so good I had to pull
Got him in the first 10pull so I will now assume this video has been blessed by Lenny himself for good Jing Yuan luck
On a more relevant note: I really enjoy these build videos you make because there will always be something in them I haven't considered myself for characters I own, or they just help me understand a character I might be interested in pulling better and making a choice on that

Should i use speed boots instead of atk boots? Because my tingyun is using bronya signature LC but i cant do much with the 2nd effect of the light cone which gives 30% more dmg for whoever is next in action BECAUSE THE ONE NEXT IN ACTION IS ALWAYS NATASHA CAUSE SHES FASTER THAN MY WELT AND JING
Yeah. Just manage the speed of your team. If it would let Jing go second, then use speed boots.
Or just use the harmony dance light cone, only bronya could use that lightcone without a massive headache figuring out the speed since the current MoC blessing always reset the hunt and erudition character to the beginning of the cycle which btw, requires minimum 101+ speed (but get more to counteract the delay from the enemy) to get 2 turns per cycle.
SPEED BOOTS GET SPEEDBOOTS.
ATK% is only for Whales who have the lightcones and some Edilons.
for f2p it's best togo for Speed since we aren't finishing any battle in 1 turn on chaos halls anytime soon.

GF got insane Jing Yuan luck. Got him at 60 pulls in, then did a for fun light cone ten pull and got it. Needless to say im never rolling on my own account again.
It's not gonna give you the highest possible stats. But one option you didn't bring up is Passkey. With Passkey, you gain 12 additional energy every time you attack. Because of this, you can ult every 2-3 attacks depending on if he takes a hit.
That placement tip seems solid.
I'm gonna try it now.
After experimenting with jing yuan for a week now i can conclude, the best build is to go for space sealing station with speed boots, rest is as video, body for crit rate and if you are lucky enough substats for other relics should be crit damage, best build

Ah good, I'm not a P2W player and went for his lightcone cause I figured even S1 was better than anything else between ridiculous bonuses and high base stats, I guessed correctly lol.
Also the bit about "A lot of people say he only does good AoE damage." .. then him being my best single target damager I have.. lol. He's no Seele but he's definitely no slouch compared to the non-banner options.
I also don't plan on going for Kafka as I don't particularly like her kit soooo.. no worries for me.

Very new to the game, I have Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Pela, but don't know a proper fourth. Units I've pulled are Sushang, Qingque, and Bailu. The rest are free units.
