This...this is insane. I've been periodically checking the repo and seeing that number just creep up closer and closer to 100%. And now, it happened. I can't wait for that longer video!
Holy shit, this is incredible, kudos to everyone who contributed, whether it be a single instruction, or most of the project, you all helped make something beautiful! Congratulations to the LEGO Island Decomp team!
your lego island decomp/reverse engineer project has me interested in a project of my own, reverse engineer a audio format for rc car engine sounds. have I gotten far? no... have i question my sanity many times? potato.... thanks for the ambition for me to start a weird project that I never though i would ever get any headway in. I cant WAIT to see more about the lego island decomp projects.. or any video...
That's awesome! I hope the project goes well. It must be extremely difficult to do, but it's like a complex puzzle you are getting closer to every day to solving. Even though sometimes it feels like a step backwards, it'll always add to the completion of the project.
@@5xt ❤thanks. I have figured out soo much, such as its RIFF audio thats played like a soundfont to reproduce engine sounds, using a random audio packager from github to compile the audio to a renamed zip file, and xml for flavor.

Holy [[OOPS-]] this is some HUGE progress! I'm looking forward towards the future updates for this project and I wish the best of luck to both you and the decomp team. 👍
imagine the possibility of modern ports for Lego Island and Lego Island 2. A dream would be to see Lego Island 2 in remaster/remake as i grew up with that one
Man, we had a great year for decomps and recomps this year, starfox64 just came out as well this week, this is great. Now hoping for the holy grail that is Simcity4.
I didn't think it would happen so soon but it's cool to see all this work finally finished. Now that it's decompiled I wonder what people are going to modify with the game much like how Mario 64 for a massive modding scene
Congratulations on the completing the decomp (almost). Does this mean (with enough effort) we could get a remaster or at least the original version running on modern devices.
You will now go down in history as "LEGO Island Guy."
