Thank you for doing work outs for us that need something different. Age 52 menopause. I did try some of your others on the app but was too hard for a person who just started doing excerise regularly. I can manage to watch you tube on TV. I do a lot of walking and I like zumba. Needed to add some weights.

A well coached and paced thorough workout with some comic relief derived from Joe's verbal expressions of exertion, eg "ooh, ouch, this is really hard, oww, that was horrible" etc 😆

Great workout!
Stacy Simms PHD would suggest that the weights need to be heavier and low reps - never more than 8. Weight heavy enough to eak out about 4-6 reps but light enough you feel you could do 2 more. High reps do not do what we want them to do in the menopausal body. Do about 4-5 sets.

I would repeat this 2 to 3 times weekly. Staying on the same strength training routine is more effective 😊

As a fit menopausal woman, I cannot get up/down off the floor. I have had the first of 2 total knee replacements.
I would have to leave the knee one out or anything that starts on the floor

Can't hold those weight dumbbells 😢. I can do with 2lbs max 3😊

Into a niche. Women YOU ARE stronger than you think! Take up lifting as heaving as you can. No 1/2kg dumbbells. Hire a personal trainer if you are serious about sustaining health, vitality & strength into your yourself beyond peri/ menopause.
what is the weight of your dumbells?
Yes, please tell us. If I had to guess, I'd say he's using 5kg for "light" and 10kg for "heavy", but it would be nice to get some clarification

I worked in hospitals during the pandemic when the vaccine was not even invented, Who knew all you had to do to get a new years honour was to do a couple of star jumps
Thank you for the amazing work you did then and probably still do., incredibly brave of you and the rest of the medical profession. Helping keep hundreds of thousands of people motivated and fit and sane counts as considerably more than a few star jumps though, many of us probably wouldn’t even be exercising if it wasn’t for Joe’s work and enthusiasm,and it’s brilliant he’s doing this for free for those of us who may not want or be able to attend a class.
