Nope. This response ignores the real problem at hand and causes more delusion in our fan base. A positive attitude and a few drills won’t change the problem. Our secondary isn’t that good and our defensive schemes don’t work anymore. Our offensive line still sucks. Russ finds ways to turn the ball over. Our offensive playcalling is a joke. Our head coach gets out coached by good coaches. Be foreal.
What sucks is that on paper, the steelers should not be this bad. I get its a short turnaround for the past 3 games and injuries and the past 3 opponents are some of the best in the league, but they should not be having these kind of miscues in week 17. Sucks for the vets on this team that get let down every year.
Yes, 9 penalties against the chiefs but the Chiefs were the ones being favored. Remind me how many penalties were called against the chiefs that allows the Steelers another chance to score. But then, when you can't win, just claim the other team is cheating.
Mike Tomlin has only been “good.” The two Super Bowl appearances we had under him were fresh off Cohwer built teams. Tomlin showed his mediocre coaching ability when we blew the chance to win super bowls with bell, brown, and Ben.
Thats the dif between the steelers and kc...ive never or rarely have ever seen the steelers hurry up on offense after a questionable play. Heads up coaching. Something the steelers lack.

Running a bad defensive scheme that couldn't stop a 10U team???? Benching a young mobile qb who was 4-1 or 4-2 in favor of a washed qb who can't see over the O line in which a real offensive minded HOF coach in Sean Payton told everyone he was washed. Or the fact he's 8-10 in the playoffs who's defense has look terrible the last 5 or 6 playoff games. It damn sure ain't talent because it's been a lot of wasted talent over the years. Terry Bradshaw and Rocky Bleir spoke the truth about him and people said they were hating. Nah cuz they know what the real "standard" is.
How come in Mike Tomlin’s first four years of coaching the Steelers went to two Super Bowls ? Why have we failed over the last 10 plus years to made it back?
Look I know there going to be saying Mike T needs to be fired, and maybe that is true idk, but there needs to be major changing in the coaching staffs. He hasn’t done anything but choke year after year in the last 6 games. This is an offensive league and idek if he is that good on defense. Arthur smith, terrel Austin, Najee, Pickens, Russ need to go as well. The season is over, Same old Steelers. i wouldn't go so far as use the word exposed. i think rushing russ has been a key to stopping the steelers offense and quick passes over the top of edge runners flats out the defense. the gauntlet is over but big games are ahead and i think this team will need to rely on a solid run game and the secondary will need to heal up if the steelers want to win in the postseason
No, there's a rabbit hole that the media ignores that leads to the why the Steelers haven't been the same as tney used to be. Everyone keeps focusing on the offensive side of the ball. And while there is some still lingering issues there, the defense has been muzzled and restricted by constant fines against the players for making plays normally associated with the Steeler way of playing the game. It seems that every other team can play at a high speed if they want to, but when It comes to the Steelers, the league watches very closely. These guys have fine fatigue. And if you bother to look at how the league handles fines, you'll see a lot of trottling back from the players themselves. This might seem to be a minor detail, but think of the play of Minkah Fitzpatrick and Damonte Kazee. Both of these guys have had to trottle down their play to prevent from being fined. How many more fines do you think they can take on? Couple that with the play from the front seven and the refs liberal means of ignoring all, but the most obvious of offensive infractions. If linemen can aggressively grab defensive players by the pads and not get called for holding, do you think they'll miss out on the chance to hold players like Cam Heyward and TJ Watt? I wouldn't so much as say that the Steelers are being out couched as much as the rules and officiating readily takes them out of games. On many occassions, you can see how frustrating it must be for the defense to perform, when everyone is stuck in place because they can't get off blocks. And it's not as if they're not trying, it's that they're dealing with offensive infractions not being called. And it's a league wide issue. The Eagles just played the Commanders (REDSKINS), and found themselves calling out the officiating crew after the game. There have been several games where the Chiefs have gotten away with numerous infractions that the refs ignored them, in the name of 'player/QB safety'. This is a rabbit hole that will need to be revisted after the season. This idea of player safety and allowing the offense get away with these infractions of jumping before the ball is snapped and holding players around the head and by the inside of the collar is going to serious hurt someone or,cause a huge fight at some point. In this game against the Chiefs, Jawaan Taylor got away with grabbing TJ Watt 6 different times by the collar or wrapping his arm around TJ's head without a flag being called. Miraculously, the refs couldn't ignore at least 2 other infractions that occurred on that side of the ball. Now, if you spread these infractions across a front 7, it paints a pretty bad picture for what we're seeing of the Steelers. This is one of the highest paid defenses in the league, surely because of Watt and Fitzpatrick. These guys know how to play the game, but they can't perform when the league is riding them hard with fines and allowing Offenses to cross the line of indecent play. If this isn't the case, Kwon Alexander would still be in Pittsburgh today and not Patrick Queen. If you think that's insignificant, consider the money spent to get Queen versus what they were paying Alexander, and think about how some of that money could've been used to sign a really good WR opposite of George Pickens. This rabbit hole goes pretty damn deep...
If the value is out there for Mike Tomlin i find out what a team like the giants or Panthers will offer for him ....at seasons end ....i find out what i can get for TJ and Minka and Cam Hayward......with a few extra 1st and seconds and possibly a couple extra 3rds in the next 2 drafts with a young offensive minded coach with his own staff .....cull all the age go young have the new coach find a good veteran quarterback to come teach the younger guys ....
@jtfike You also can keep Tomlin and the most expensive defense in football and continue with the same exact results that has been now going on 8 straight years ......foibg the same thing every time and looking for different results is the definition of insane......just so you know ....thus season is most likely going to end on a 5 game losing streak including the first round.....now what
Tbh I don't think it's going to get better for the steelers. The bengals are on a mission and their defense is terrible but I don't believe this steelers team can offensively match them again. Yeah it's ridiculous to have those 4 teams play 3 games in 11 days. The worst part about it is how the NFL prioritizes safety 😂 they are more worried about money at the expense of the players health. This is not sustainable in the future and detrimental to the players health in the long run. Great vid and merry christmas.
@ look at the play again. That was the right call. Chiefs beat easy it wasn’t the refs. Taylor the right tackle on the chiefs leads the nfl in holding calls.
I've given up on Tomlin. Its been the same on-field product for the last several years. Staff is too small, too old. Always a 2nd tier team compared to others. Tomlin had his success with a great team he inherited.
Yup one of the reasons I knew we’d lose is cuz Reid always out coaches Tomlin. I’m done with boul, idc how good we look in the first half of the season next year,he’s gottta go lol
"Mike Tomlin is better than this" Here's the thing, I'm not sure he is. This is like the 4th time that Tomlin has choked away a genuine super bowl run down the stretch. Remember the 11-0 year? This us the exact same thing. The steelers always have the same problems when it comes to man management, playing down to competition, and getting completely owned against good teams when it matters. "OH but he's never had a losing record" congratulations he's a slightly better version of Jeff Fischer. If that's good enough for you, then that's fine. But if your goal is to win Championships, you need to be better than 9-8 and 10-7
It's better to have pressure to fix some issues going into the playoffs, that is the only bright spot here. Time to go look at film and work on all the things you must fix. Many teams will enter the playoffs not knowing what to work on and make an early exit.

Our secondary isn’t that good and our defensive schemes don’t work anymore. Our offensive line still sucks. Russ finds ways to turn the ball over. Our offensive playcalling is a joke. Our head coach gets out coached by good coaches. Be foreal.
Time to bring back FIELDS
The standard is mid af, with the odd great game here and there. We have YEARS of evidence at this point.
Whats crazy is the chiefs had no run game and were basically one dimensional.
And it didn't matter because the defensive scheme the Steelers used against the pass played right into Mahomes' and his receivers' strengths.
Tomlin is a mediocre HC. Losers every year. Tomlin acts like an idiot too on the podium.
Joey porter is garbage, he wouldn’t of changed a thing
What sucks is that on paper, the steelers should not be this bad. I get its a short turnaround for the past 3 games and injuries and the past 3 opponents are some of the best in the league, but they should not be having these kind of miscues in week 17. Sucks for the vets on this team that get let down every year.
The sad thing is, when you lift up that paper, the light leaks through just like running backs have over the last 4 games...😂
Ngl their were some questionable plays and calls in the chiefs favor, Merry Christmas fam
Merry Christmas to you and your family
Yes, 9 penalties against the chiefs but the Chiefs were the ones being favored. Remind me how many penalties were called against the chiefs that allows the Steelers another chance to score. But then, when you can't win, just claim the other team is cheating.
@@APST21seems like Tomlinn doesn't know how to develop players to the next level especially on offense
Never even tuned into these games😂 I have a feeling I didn’t miss much
Mike Tomlin has only been “good.” The two Super Bowl appearances we had under him were fresh off Cohwer built teams. Tomlin showed his mediocre coaching ability when we blew the chance to win super bowls with bell, brown, and Ben.
Dumbest take ever.
Tomlin wins when he has talent.
Ben bell brown was talent but only on one side of the ball. The whole team wasn’t talented.
Tomlin never had a losing season
Santa would be taking your presents away if you were the Steelers
Exactly…the players ain’t doing SH*T!! But, the playoffs are different breed, so we’ll see😡
No more wilson football 4 turn over / picks in 2 games he done washed up
Steelers Fan Since '78. We Stink. Give Our Playoff Tick To Bengals, At Least They Move The Ball. Love Tomlin, Time To Move On From My Brother...
Yup Tomlin gotta go cuz he won’t change.
Steelers have fell off for a while
Thats the dif between the steelers and kc...ive never or rarely have ever seen the steelers hurry up on offense after a questionable play. Heads up coaching. Something the steelers lack.
Its crazy how the Steelers are hitting the slump...I thought Russ was back to his old self...He still cant throw across the middle...He has a great moon ball though
What old self? He sucks. He always has. Y'all think he's good cuz of that one SB which was won because of the D. The Steelers are always gonna suck with Tomlin
@ Before you spout off nonsense go check his past seasons, he was up for MVP multiple times...
@@JAVARRIS88 Whining MVP and runner up for MVP is 2 different things. Him losing means he's first at losing. He sucks. He got a cheap ring cuz the Seahawks team was good. Wilson sucks. Bad
@@TheAbbot92ok bro. 😂
@@JAVARRIS88😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wilson has never received a SINGLE MVP vote in his career
Fair weather fans keep this same energy when we win the playoffs 💪🏾💯💛🖤
Tomlin should have been fired 5 years ago. Has not won a playoff game in 8 years. Joke of all jokes. Art Rooney Sr. Is rolling over in his grave. I dont drink the kool aid anymore and havent for a long time.
is there a way to get TOMLIN to go
Old age. Rooney is too woke
Emmitt Smith always carried the ball in the same arm. He did not care where the sideline was located. He was criticized his whole career for that.
If they extend Russell Wilson next season, they're crazy. He's not worth an extension me,and Patrick Queen needs to go too.
PQ is what Baltimore tried telling y'all he is. He was a product of Roquan and our schemes.
Not surprised button
Mike Tomlin has been around for 18 years too long. Steelers please move the fu** on to a new modern voice. Forget that new contract. Either pay him what you owe him or trade him to the Bears or another NFC team. It can be done. How long are you going to settle for being mediocre and settling for a barely winning season and no playoff wins????
He’s one of the best coaches in the league you could do much much worse
@kye4216 The best at what???? Winning 9 or 10 games every year just to get exposed at the end???? To constantly get out coached and out schemed???? Not making the adjustments at the right time????
Trading him to the Bears or any team is not going to help that team it will help only us.
Idk bout that truth is this my man there is only 3 teams in the Afc that are contenders Kc,Ravens & Bills that's it
How come in Mike Tomlin’s first four years of coaching the Steelers went to two Super Bowls ? Why have we failed over the last 10 plus years to made it back?
Pittsburgh does not have the offensive firepower when they play against elite teams who has played together for a while!
I don't like the OC, the scheme is bland, and against the elite teams they will be exposed
Only offensive guys I would say 100% keep is CA3 and Warren… defense has been getting cooked and their needs to be change there as well
It's honestly 70% the players and 30% the coaching and coordinators
@@Harp_7it’s happened every year sicne 2016, 8 years and multiple different players… it’s not the players
Pickens needs to stay too let's not get crazy.
@@jabrilmuhammad6391his effort was the reason why offense when down the dumps so many drives, he stops running routes even when Russ is trying to get him the ball! Honestly I would trade him for Garret Wilson rn In an instant, he is a extremely talented but if he can’t get his shit together he hurts the team
@@MRulli427cmon man we need Pickens, do you realize how valuable Pickens is. Our offense was terrible without him.
Frauds
Steelers are going to the Superbowl ! These last four games only determine what seed they are. They have to win away from home all the games and against the top teams. it can be done. I still haven't given up on Russell Wilson, he's had 3 really bad games. He can't do it alone. He needs better blocking and better couching and better defense...... Ahh... F- it ! They suck! LMAO 🤣😂 ! Go Steelers! Go home.
i wouldn't go so far as use the word exposed. i think rushing russ has been a key to stopping the steelers offense and quick passes over the top of edge runners flats out the defense. the gauntlet is over but big games are ahead and i think this team will need to rely on a solid run game and the secondary will need to heal up if the steelers want to win in the postseason
The Steelers playcalling is dinosaur
Dumbest idea ever and why I’m glad you aren’t a GM.
Give me a break the players are pampered like babies
Najee has no quickness..he can't switch directions and make sharp cuts..
That’s a coaching issue design runs for his specific run style
Yep I agree a lot of games in 11 days no way !
Look at the bright side. At least the Steelers scored more than TWO FUCKING POINTS.
Thanks brother for great reporting !
Bro that was a hold when Pitt scored that td. Anytime you put some one on the ground. They will call that all day.
By that logic every time mahomes scramble for first downs or extend plays to pass it should be called but never is
@ look at the play again. That was the right call. Chiefs beat easy it wasn’t the refs. Taylor the right tackle on the chiefs leads the nfl in holding calls.
The streaming was getting blurry at time so they still need to do better!!
Crazy as hell.
I've given up on Tomlin. Its been the same on-field product for the last several years. Staff is too small, too old. Always a 2nd tier team compared to others. Tomlin had his success with a great team he inherited.
Dogg....? Just damn.....
I'm done with the NFL after this season. I've held on because of gambling, but it's too predictable
Tomlin, Najee, Pickens and the o line need changes or they gotta go. Pat needs to get better at holding the ball.
Pickens needs to go ? Are you slow man .
Yup one of the reasons I knew we’d lose is cuz Reid always out coaches Tomlin. I’m done with boul, idc how good we look in the first half of the season next year,he’s gottta go lol
To be fair I’d bet pat mahomes owns most nfl defenses if you looked at the stats of teams he plays consistently
"Mike Tomlin is better than this"
Here's the thing, I'm not sure he is. But if your goal is to win Championships, you need to be better than 9-8 and 10-7
i went to the game it was just bad all around i havent heard the stadium boo that loud in a while
Ozzie still under contract with the ravens as a GM could do a better job as a GM helping the Steelers that are currently GM can do drafting recruits
They need to rest there players next week
Would you rather have sam darnold or russ
Crucial turnovers the last 3 games as well as the o line getting dominsted
It's better to have pressure to fix some issues going into the playoffs, that is the only bright spot here. Time to go look at film and work on all the things you must fix.
Many teams will enter the playoffs not knowing what to work on and make an early exit.
Russel Wilson is not good. He had 2 good games and the media went crazy about a come back.
