We've had the current languages for 1400-1900 years (it varies from language to language) and they haven't changed to the point where we can't understand old texts. Plus, present day Greeks can still understand ancient Greek, speakers of Romance languages can still understand quite a bit of Latin without studying it. Why do you think this will change?
