Praised for her vocal beauty, seamless technique, and abundant musicality, Nadine Sierra is being hailed as one of the most promising, young talents in opera today. She was named the Richard Tucker Award Winner in 2017 and was awarded the 2018 Beverly Sills Artist Award by the Metropolitan Opera. Having made a string of successful debuts at the Met, Teatro alla Scala, Opéra national de Paris, and Staatsoper Berlin, she has become a fixture at many of the top houses around the world. On August 24th, 2018, her debut album, There’s a Place for Us, was released under the Deutsche Grammophon/Universal Music labels.
Goodness me, this was good! Hope your career's taken off by now. Really lovely creamy voice and you really socked it to the panel with the ornamentations. Probably over-egging the cake for an opera performance but as a vehicle for showing what you're capable of, well, it was brilliant!
this is fantastic. I think a little more attention to dynamics would add a nice touch to the song. Over all, very well done, and i wish you all the best in your singing endevours.
She's got an excellent instrument, but she's over singing. This is Handel, not Verdi!! *Far* too much vibrato, and her intonation leaves a great deal to be desired. Compare this to Inger Dam-Jensen's performance on utube, and then tell me how beautiful this is!! No artist has ever improved by being told they were wonderful when the opposite was true! This singer has great potential, but she's not going to grow by listening to people who tell her what they think she wants to hear! I'm not being nasty, just honest!!
Obrigada

Such a gorgeous, powerful voice

Beautiful.
Super star!
For me, she passed.
I used to have this sung by La stupenda, but I lost it, and I greatly miss it. I could easily get used to Ms Sierra's version.

Handel seems to fit her better than Verdi...

It would be nice to compare with Patricia Janeckova …
Could be more restrained and finely spun rather than Puccini-esque. High quality instrument non the less. Hope she is wisely advised.
@@nybuffymeister8328 Oh my, *yes!!*
One of the best performances ever is by Maria Bayo. Heavenly beautiful voice and rendition.
