Ascoltando Nadine Sierra si rimane stupefatti e incantati dalla immensa bellezza della sua voce, dalla immensa bravura nell' affrontare le partiture, anche le più ardue e più complesse dal punto di vista interpretative, con estrema bravura e sicurezza!! La Sierra, non esito ad affermarlo, è il migliore soprano lirico-drammatico di agilità!! La sua Traviata e la sua Lucia di Lamermoor fanno venire i brividi !
Mi sento di ribadire che è
il miglior soprano esistete!
La Divina Callas e la Grande Tebaldi hanno trovato la loro erede.
La voce di Nadine ha la purezza del più puro dei diamanti, i suoi gorgheggi sono come gli usignoli ed i suoi acuti arrivano fino in cielo.
What a glorious talent. Rich, dextrously, beautiful voice. A true lyric coloratura and with a fantastic, glamorous timbre. I hope she adds Thais to her rep amongst many other roles.
Incredible singer. We’ve had the pleasure to hear her at the Met many times. Beautiful amazing and humble human being. And for those that find the need to criticize,don’t watch.

This is absolutely splendid since I don’t have the money, unfortunately to attend opera and hear these wonderful singers in person this to me works just as well I mean I know nothing can come close to attending a live opera but I’ll take this and darn sure be happy with it.

I was there and believe me, coming out of this COVID epidemic, this was a real revival of soul and life. Nadine singing and her personality are just divine. We were moved to tears. So, the next step was to see her at La Scala in Rigoletto few weeks ago. Stunning performance! Congratulations to Opéra de Wallonie for attracting this kind of unique talent to your stage.
Was her concert just like this without any breaks between her arias? Or they cut from this recording the parts where she doesn’t sing? Cause if she did it without breaks she’s not from this planet 😮

She was named the Richard Tucker Award Winner in 2017 and was awarded the 2018 Beverly Sills Artist Award by the Metropolitan Opera. Having made a string of successful debuts at the Met, Teatro alla Scala, Opéra national de Paris, and Staatsoper Berlin, she has become a fixture at many of the top houses around the world. Io ho avuto il privilegio di sentirla alla fenice in Lucia, recita indimenticabile solo per la sua presenza, il resto del cast era poca cosa in confronto! Unica sorpresa furono i due mi bemolle della scena della follia, un pochino stiracchiati, ma per il resto qualcosa di sublime.

Es un deleite que incorpore al repertorio de conciertos algún fragmento de zarzuela, género lírico que contiene grandes joyas musicales a menudo ignoradas por grandes figuras del momento, pero que algunos saben apreciar. Quizá en el caso de Nadine sea por sus ancestros que se acerca al género aunque sea con fragmentos para concierto. Imagino que pedirle que haga un papel entero de zarzuela con su texto hablado y todo dado su dominio del español algo limitado sería todo un desafío, pero bueno sería que incorporase otras romanzas de zarzuelas a su repertorio de concierto donde pueda lucir los diferentes registros de su voz.

Eso es una exageración. Aunque Sierra tiene talento, ella no es ni el polvo del tacón de Callas.
Why must every singer be compared with Callas? Therle were great singers before her and since her retirement. They are two completely different voices. Basta!

Rispetto a qualche anno fa, trovo la voce molto appesantita e diventa un po' dura attenzione al repertorio. Bella signora.
Già....ma non dimentichiamoci che questo è un concerto, non siamo sul palcoscenico della Scala.
la voce e' perfetta,chiaramente con la maturita' la voce acquista un colore piu' scuro pero' nel suo caso e' un bene per preservare il suo dono,resta invece invariato il suo fascino e la sua eleganza nella semplicita'

Brillante ! Elle joue de sa capacité de tenue de souffle ,en use et parfois en abuse ( à mon goût bien sûr). Cela devrait rester exceptionnel.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. For me, the music doesn’t disappear, but is just brought to life in a different way. I think she’s fabulous!
There is something I notice ...as if she is the one that doesn't FEEL the escence of the music she interprets, so much so that at the end of the day we have a very good vocal performance, from a very beautiful woman, but no SPIRITUAL or EMOTIONAL GENUINE INTERPRETATION. What I mean is, it seems as she ifocuses on giving the most perfect vocal performance but something essential is missing and ...everything ends up sounding the same somehow... But I LOVE her TIMBRE / VOICE/ COLOUR ❤💚💜

Sierra ha una bella voce. Lei è molto bella. Ha una tecnica abbastanza buona. Ma... Alla fine della recita non ci si commuove. In molti modi, è come una deliziosa torta, ma una volta mangiata, non c'è più. La sua enfasi è sul bel canto, non sull'interpretazione dei personaggi che canta. Non c'è differenza tra la sua Lucia, la sua Gilda, la sua Violetta, la sua Manon, ecc.. Queste eroine suonano tutte allo stesso modo.
hai ragione,il motivo e' che non e' presuntuosa ,non ama il divismo,e' umile e pensa solo al canto,alla tecnica,con il tempo dara' di piu' anche di interpretazione
