I bought this last black Friday with a 55% off BF discount and I have to say that I love it. I didn't buy any of their skincare products to go along with it though. I just use it every morning in a circular motion for about a minute or two after applying my serums and then again after applying my moisturizer for another minute or two. This addition only adds about 5 minutes to my morning routine which I'm fine with. I feel like the results are based off of consistency and what products you're using with it since the penetration of those ingredients is what will be enhanced. The device itself alone isn't going to transform your skin. My morning skincare routine is antioxidants, peptides, ceramides and multi-ferment heavy, not just niacinamide and hyaluronic acid rich. Anyway, my skin is even more smooth and bright since I started adding this device into my morning skincare routine. The slightly enlarged pores on the lower apples of my cheeks temporarily shrink for a few hours every morning and the puffiness underneath my eyes has deflated a lot. All in all, I just look a lot less tired even though I'm not less tired at all lol. I can't speak on wrinkle reduction because I don't have those yet, but the few fine lines that I do have plump up after each use. I am using retinoids at night though, so I'm sure that's factoring into their diminishment as well. I don't have any regrets with my purchase probably because I got it on such a deep discount and because I don't find it a hassle to use everyday. But if you have to pay full price (and don't want to) or can't add even another minute to your skincare routine, obviously don't get it because it won't work for your life/schedule/budget.
@@Elrewin59 Medicube was having a week or two of 50% off their devices during November as a part of their Black Friday month of specials. The discount was automatically applied (ie didn't require a code), so you could use a promo code on top of it. I used a UA-cam content creator's (aliceintherabbithole) promo code on top for an additional 10% off, which worked out to be 55% off of the original price.

i dont like the jelly cream, but i do find the device does help in the absorption of toner and moisturizer. as i’ve gotten older ive noticed skincare just sits on top of my skin like an oil slick whike my skin remains dehrdrated. i felt the device really helped
Nah, I love this. I used this for months then upgraded to the Booster Pro. I had really dry skin and this with their bubble collagen makes my skin so glowy. I tried the Jelly Cream today for the first time and it's a great texture to use with the Microcurrent and Dermashot functions on the Pro Booster. This is making me doubt her other reviews because I just think she's wrong - but then again, I have mature skin & hers is perfect so she doesn't have much to improve. Whereas after using this with niacinimide & Vit C my dark spots have faded, my skin tone is more even and I can honestly say my dry skin is repaired. I've had young ladies in Ulta say to me that I have great skin. So to each her own. Just be consistent - I've used it twice a day for months.
I have the pro not the one she is using which is the older version, I like it, I like that tingly sensation it does to my skin, it has a better tone after it, like is very noticeable, u can see ur skin glow too, I don’t know about everything else but I ll continue using it to see in few months if I can tell more differences
I purchased this during the holidays and got it much cheaper ~$170. I didn’t use the jelly cream they advertise with it but use it with my moisturizer. I do feel my skin looks better/brighter and it has made my pores look smaller. The most notable difference is the smoothness of my skin - it’s become very smooth. I do have skin that’s sensitive and prone to redness, and i found this device doesn’t cause irritation for me as long as i keep it at level 1. I tried increasing levels and it made my skin irritated. But at level 1 i feel it’s made my skin look beautiful. Still looking for the perfect product to pair it with. I have tried serums but haven’t found anything that gives my skin enough “slip” for this device to last the 5 minutes which is why i mostly use with my moisturizer. Overall i like it and look forward to using it in the evening, it’s relaxing and i enjoy it. But if i hadn’t gotten it for a much lower price not sure i would have bought it. I think it did make a difference in my skin and I do like the product
i do agree... u have to consistently use it.. and not use a few times and then make a review for it with reservations... even whether a moisturizer needs time to work.....
You should use mist, or spray water from a mist bottle in between skincare steps or whenever you feel dry. I feel that it gives me that slip without adding more product.
I had 4 devices from medicube. From 1 device to 4 devices. Why? Because it's freaking real and highly recommended. Im 37 years old, I started having wrinkles, and my skin texture is not glowing and hydrated as it used to be. Im prone to acne too, but since I used their device, oh boy! My money that I spend its really worth it. I swear i barely getting acne too. My milia and bumps on my skin was gone. I do use their skin care products and its highly recommended. It's way better than American products. It is more natural, mild, but really effective. I have a glass skin, hydrated and glowing skin. I swear a lot of people askingbme what I'm using.
Thanks Dr. I’ve been watching you since July 23. I love learning and you’ve taught me skin care. At 66. My face is so happy. I can see my skin improving daily. I keep j or k beauty sunblock in my car in case I forget. And a hat. You get the picture. 😊
I absolutely love this device, it fits in as part of my routine, it’s pampering and it also helps with fluid retention and any sinus blockage, on level 5. I have been using it for a few months and totally recommend it.
@@msDANCINGJELLYBEAN it’s the pulses, I just follow the lymphatic lines and it helps draining it. They also have the Pro which has this function as well but not nearly as strong as in this device.
I bought this on a black friday deal, and ive been using it since. I enjoy it, i do notice a difference in my dark spots since using this with my skin care. I live in a very dry, cold climate and i think this has helped my moisturizer do its work. Everyone will have different results, of course.
@JhilmilBasu a little over 200, 210ish.. but it came with 4 full sized skin care products. It was a bundle. I didn't care for the products because they pilled, I gave them away. The person using them does not wear makeup and really likes them.
I was convinced to buy this device after watching Ali Andreas before and after, her face has become smooth and taut. Dermatologists would never recommend such devices though, they would want people to have their in-office treatments rather than home-based devices.
This is such a conspiracy mindset. It reminds me of when people said healthcare workers got money for “pushing” COVID vaccines. The only part of the system that’s profiting off of you is insurance companies, their lobbyists, and the politicians they pay.
I think they are worried about the dangers studies do show this can potentially damage your cells, disrupt your skincare, etc… the facts are these at home devices don’t have long term studies. So I think as a doctor they are cautious to recommend something like that.
I did buy and tried the Booster H when it came out. I must say I have rosacea and until I saw your video and mentioned rosacea I was surprised. I can say it does help absorb better your skincare. As you mentioned it depends what type of skincare. Mostly, I have used it when I use a sheet mask at night to calm my redness and I have seen that it calms and I have better skin. But I do believe that the results may vary from person to person.
Maybe it doesnt work for already perfect skin. For awful skin like mine, with textures, bumps and dullness, i found it to be working perfectly. I used the booster pro version, with airshot mode. Over 2-3 months, i managed to remove around 60% of my bumps using airshot, combined with salycilic wash. Then i managed the dryness due to the salycilic, using loads of moisturizer in booster mode. I just use level 1 for all modes, since i have sensitive skin
it is because we use it consistently and regularly.. that's why u and i see the differences.. not use a few times .. then make a review saying there's no differences......
Do you think the Age R booster *H* will be enough for sensitive skin types? Im 36 with alot of dark spots and fine lines due to a decade of oral tretinoin with no spf usage.
Medicube just came out last week with their new improved HR-Booster-Pro version of this device, and now has 6 different modes of this device and not just 'booster' mode. I literally just got the new one in the mail today haha, It says to use 1-3x a day with 5 min each use, for the old version I've only been using 1x a day for 5 min for a few months. My skin does feel a lot smoother, but I think I should use it daily for atleast 6 months to see any improvement so I will keep using it.
Just went to the medicube website (for the USA) I see the AGE-R Booster Pro. It now has 6-in-1 skin care booster settings. Shows it’s on sale for $384 Regular price $480 (ouch!) I also found this on eBay for way less. I’m hesitant to buy it from any other place other than the website. I’m gonna have to save for a while to get it. Very interested in knowing your results as time goes by. Thank you for sharing. God bless.♥️🙏🏼♥️
I love this thing! I have been using it daily for two years on my sensitive, mature skin. I get compliments daily about how beautiful my skin is. Even from my dermatologist. I love the jelly cream in the am . Works well with sun screen and serums. I also don’t think it is cheaply made. I have mine for two years now and use it daily. This is a well made product! Far better than micro needling!
@@MissKrisLoves In the morning, I start with Suharto first care, then Donginbi essence, then Donginbi daily defense essence, followed by a mixture of triple erasing cream and collagen jelly. Both from Medicube. I let them soak in. Then I use the Medicube booster with a bit of the collagen glow bubble serum. This is for winter dry season. In summer I skip the triple deep erasing cream in the morning and only use it at night. I love Medicube products. They work beautifully on my sensitive, mature skin.
THANK YOU DR ❤️ It’s not worth the price. Excellent review Viewers be cautious. No device can reverse aging. Absolute awesome product: Sunscreen If you have dry skin use a richer moisturizer Only people getting rich are the people to developed this product And the many influencers who were GIFTED, yes GIFTED this product Stay well Thanks again ❤️
great review as always - i do have one question - when you say it doesn't effect a significant improvement on your skin... is that really a good litmus test given that your skin is already pretty much perfect - in the close ups of your videos your skin is always clear, luminous, dewy, smooth, etc... so yes i recognize the various concerns you have with the device... but again i just wonder what product/device would really effect a drastic change on somebody like you that already has their skin in pretty optimal shape...?
I got my Booster Pro (the newer 6 in 1 device) a little over 8 or 9 weeks ago and shipped to the UK. And I really love it 🤩😍 For the longest time i wanted to buy the booster and derma ems devices. But I couldn't decide between the two. I'm glad i put a little bit more money towards the booster pro. I can use each feature depending on what my skin concerns are. I love the micro current and derma shot modes the most. I haven't used my Foreo devices much since i bought the booster pro. The app lets control the settings mid use which is great as i may want to use a lower setting on certain parts of my face. Also, with the Booster pro i dont have to use Medicube specific products.
I’ve been using this device for over a year. It works great for me. I believe it has enhanced the penetration of my skincare; my skin is always glowing.
What crazy is that most of these comments are thanking Dr Dray for HER honest opinion but I’ve also seen a few people who say they have this device say they love it & noticed a difference!!! I think i saw one negative review but it seems like the majority of people who bought this, loves it!! I honestly don’t think she gave this time. I don’t have one so I don’t know if it works or not but from what I’m seeing, the users love it!! It’s really sad how people can get swayed so easily!!! Very very easily influenced!! Hence, we are watching influencers 😂😂😂
I just watched a few videos of people that used this product that had underlined skin issues, and it caused complete havoc on their skin. Everyone's doing videos about how great it is, but they're not talking about the science behind it and how it could actually devastate people who have underlined skin issues. I think it's extremely important that she went through some of the reasons That people should not use it.
I already have the device I got from a sale a while back and I like it though I’ve only used it for a week so far. I’m also trying out new products that are really hydrating so the results I’m seeing could just be from that. I’ll probably keep using it for now and see how it goes long-term. But I always appreciate having a dermatologist’s thoughts;)
All I can tell you is that it definitely has an effect on my skin! In fact, if I use tretinoin after using this I have to sandwich with a thick moisturizer, whereas I no longer need that without using this on my serums first. I stopped using it because I got lazy for a couple months, and when I went back to it the difference in how my skin looked was obvious. I don't use any special product with it. I just spend an extra 2 mins. tapping it slowly across my face and sides of my neck.
When I had acne as a teen in 1994 this is standard devise used to heal acne in Russia. Except it’s less glamorous and just goes like a mask all over your face. Electric charge deposits salycilic acid (in my case) deeper into skin, two days later I’d have a huge relief from acne. It worked like magic, that’s why its a very popular treatment done in a clinic by docs and nurses in Russia. It truly works.
I really love this device! I definitely saw difference and I have sensitive skin AND prone to cold sores, but I had no issue with it fortunately! I have been using it for a year now. But the jelly moisturizer... I also am not crazy about it.
I think this review by her is very flawed. First, she never used this daily as advised so not seeing the full results is a given. Second, she obviously didn’t use it often enough to know the device automatically switches off at 5 mins, not 10. Personally I have used it once daily for 6 months and my skin has achieved another level of glass skin A difference was seen in a week Full results in 3 mths
Interesting! Thank you! I have their EMS device. I got it less for my skin and much more for the impact of EMS on the muscles. It has helped tremendously with my tension headaches. I don't really get those anymore, so for me, it was absolutely worth it!
@LeftRight4029 Well, I get tension headaches with a lot of fascia tension too. I have found that the machine has been helpful in ways that self-massage and stretches weren't, and allowed massage to be more efficientafterwards. This is just my experience with using the machine like the medicube video suggested on the face, and on my neck and shoulders. I also focused on scalenes, top of the back of the neck, masseters, and frontalis muscles.
Well, once again I'm out of the loop. I've never heard of this device but I don't do social media so there's that. Appreciate you spending so much money to try it out for us. You're awesome! Happy Monday, Dr Dray!! I hope you have a lovely evening. 💚
Hi Mary!! Hope Your Day Went Amazing!! The Weather Here was 76, now thats Really Like Spring! I went to the Park, and had a Great Time, Lots of People There, Really Enjoyed Watching the Children on th3 Swings and Slides, They Were Having So much Fun!! You’re living right Mary! I don’t do instagram or TikTok so unless it catches me here on UA-cam I’m missing it too. That micro needling device is the one I keep seeing here. Pretty sure marketers for it have been posting in Dr Drays comments hyping it up too. Insidious!! I always figure if the product was amazing the company wouldn’t have to resort to so much aggressive marketing
It seems like much of the research on electroporation uses a high voltage - 30 V minimum and often upwards of 100 V. So I’m not totally convinced yet that a handheld device is really capable of doing much. Thanks for the balanced discussion on this one. I know MediCube gets pushed a lot.
Thank you Dr. Dray for your honest review and analysis on this device, I have reconsider buying this tool. I will keep investing on my consistent skin care routine with lots of sunscreen, a few micro needling secession and my yearly chemical peels.
I have used this device since June and I can say that my skin has a slight “glow” to it even when. It’s literally paper dry. By no means this will give u glass skin like Korean idols, but it did help my skin a lot.
So you recommended buying a $700+ omnilux LED mask over this hand held device, claiming this handheld device did not work for you and "feels cheap" when the omnilux mask is literally a sheet. Did you do any research on how this device was built? Did you use this device for 6 months like you claimed to use the omnilux for? Kinda feels like you didn't give this device the same kind of chance like you did the omnilux, or you got paid to make the omnilux video. Maybe provide some more facts/research on this device before you hate on it. Use to watch your videos but these kinds of facts and research-lacking, biased videos will make you less reputable and lose followers.
I think regardless, her opinion does has value.. yet we should also make an informed decision based of what we think is best.. id consider doing more research and seeking what other dermatologist think as well.
She keeps saying "in theory." I believe she is saying it is promising if the claims are true. In my opinion the device you should get depends on your individual goals and the device that you will use consistently. If you are looking for an inexpensive option, invest in a red light panel that sits on a desk. If your concern is preventing collagen loss, I'd pair red light with either radio-frequency device or microneedling sessions for collagen induction. But the best thing you can do for your skin is preventing damage from the sun and free radicals like smoking.
I’ve been using the device for about 8 months. I use it morning and evening (it shuts off automatically at 5 min) so for 10 min total each day. I use the collagen jelly in the morning and the collagen cream at night. I noticed a big difference in my face within the first few weeks of using it. My mom (who is a skincare junkie) asked what I was doing as she even noticed the change. I don’t know if it was the device or the collagen jelly/cream but I have continued to use it and the medicube products as I feel it has really made a difference in my skin. I was already using tretinoin, vit C, spf and a led mask daily and felt my skin looked good but I feel this took my skin to another level. I agree with Dr. Dray that the device feels cheap or like a child’s toy. I also agree with her about the texture and consistency of the jelly. I found that it is very easy to use too much of it, especially if you’re going to put spf and makeup over it. I use about 1/3rd or 1/4th of the amount that Dr. Dray demonstrated putting on her face and that works well for me.
I don't like the regular version. It did not work for me. And I also hate the collagen jelly as it breaks me out. HOWEVER, I just received the Booster PRO, which has all their devices in one (improved) device, and boy, what a difference that one makes!! It finally gives me glass skin that stays all day, and with my own skincare too. My mind is blown. Worth the money to me (got it for 40% off introductory price), and I am happy I was able to get my hands on it. I also love their EMS device.
@@isiis11 Yes, thats the new 6 in 1 device. The version Dr. Dray uses did nothing for me either. I saw everyone on youtube with glass skin and had none of the results. All the devices that are included in the Booster Pro were "upgraded" in performance. Keep in mind I am no expert, but I know the same function on the new device gave me instant results. It does have additional infrared light pulses (so is now red not blue) and feels a little stronger. I think its better purely because of the results I got.
I just received my pro today! So excited! Like you, I also didn’t like the collagen jelly with my age R booster. It was too sticky throughout the day and my makeup did not blend well with it. I also noticed breakouts. I just stick with the serums. I think medicube products are worth it. Not influenced by tic tok (i don’t have an account). I saw some UA-cam videos from a mix of people- mainly non sponsored from dermatologists and everyday people. Consistency is key, for sure.
Thankful for your review. I purchased the AGE-R Booster Pro that has all the devices in one. I'm not convinced that it's beneficial for my mature skin, but it does feel good while using it. Ive taken photos of before and after and can't see any changes in 12 weeks.
thank you doctor, this saved my wife's delicate face as she is undergoing a high ticket laser treatment for her pigmentation reduction this year so this helped me to 'hold my purchase'
Thank you for always giving us trustworthy and empirically-supported (or lack thereof) reviews. Are you able to provide a review of the Medicube Ussera Deep Shot?
I don’t have that device, but I have Medicube’s Ussera Deep Shot using high frequency ultrasound. I think that one should be getting all the attention. Two weeks in, I’m already noticing tightening (after not using it right when I bought it a few years ago). I have the EMS device too-time will tell with that one.
I’m so happy to see your video because I love tools…definitely a tool junkie! I really wanted this, but the price point was a little too steep for me to purchase for this kind of product and there were things I have wanted more. So I make a list of things I really want and every month I either will purchase 1 or 2 items on the list or I put money aside to save up for something really pricey with the intent of eventually buying it when I can afford it. This has worked well for me because it gives me a chance to really use a product to see if it actually works as opposed to using several things and not knowing what really did what. So the point I wanted to make was that as much as I initially wanted it when I first saw it…for some reason I was turned off by it so it never made “the list” and your video definitely gives me perspective that I’m not missing out on anything so a big Thank You for that!!!xoxoxo
What devices have you loved?? I have the omnibus mask and I love that. Really noticed an improvement. And the irestore helmet which I like but can’t tell a difference yet.
Another expensive "necessity" for r never ending skincare routines...and here I am struggling as a single mom to afford sunscreen for myself and my kids 🙄😳😔
I don’t understand how you didn’t see improvement. I use it twice a day with my regular morning/ night routine and it has absolutely changed my skin for the better. Texture is visibly reduced and pores minimized. From all the dumb gadgets I’ve bought in the past, this is not that at all. I love it. Wish you would try it as recommended.
I've tried 2 of their devices. I can say that my skin has absorbed my skin products better than they did before. I've been using them close to 3 months, there was close to 2 weeks where i was ill and didn't use it, during those 2 weeks my skin broke out in certain spots while other spots felt dry. I tried the booster and the air shot. with the air shot my pores seem to be clogging less usually i have to extract quite a few "clogs" but with using the air shot i've seen a reduction in having to do that. Both are light weight. I think testing requires at least 1 month of daily use for the booster and for the air shot 2 -3 times per week for a month to see results. It's definitely not a magic wand.
$230 USD is the price tag, going down from $330 USD. That's also the cost of going to an aesthetician/dermatologist for a chemical peel. The choice is pretty clear.
Ive bought the age-r booster pro device a week ago, and been using it diligently, i can assure you that the device Really Works for me, my skin becomes so much more hydrated, smooth and glowing than before using it. Yeah I’ve been using Retinol, hyaluronic acid, AHA/BHA, vitamin C, lots of mosturizer to enhcance penetration n hydration but it doesnt really works, because the weather is so cold and dry during winter and none of that active ingridients enough to hydrate me, and this device really boost everything. Maybe dr Dray doesnt feel any improvement because her skin is already in good shape, but for me i got a real boost to my skin. Also the booster pro have several other functions, such as the air shot, micro current, and derma shot all in one device, maybe that also helps boosting my skin compared to dr Dray device’s which is the 1st generation
I actually really like the device! The main difference I’ve noticed is that when I wake up in the morning, there’s way less product left on my face so I feel like the absorption has improved.
Medicube launched a new device that combines kinda all of their devices in Korea at the end of last year, so check it out. I have no affiliation to Medicube. I just like its devices.
One thing that I think needs to be mentioned about Medicube is that, if you live outside the US and plan to purchase from the US website, their one year warranty of the device will not apply to your purchase because their return, reshipping, and replacement policy do not cover online purchases made outside the USA. I learned this the hard way when I lost the charging cradle of my Ussera device. It should also be good to mention in the reviews that that unlike all the other Medicube devices which can be charged just by plugging a cable directly to the device, the Ussera needs to be plugged to a charging cradle which comes with the box when you purchase the device. It also needs to be told that the charging cradle is not sold separately by Medicube, so if anything happens to your charging cradle, if it's within warranty (1 year from the date of purchase) Medicube US says they will replace your charger if you live in the US. But if you damaged, or lost your charger, and if you live outside of the US, your device becomes pretty much useless unless you can buy the charging cradle somewhere else, which I haven't managed to do.
Basically suitable for Asians. Not all skin types are best and it is your opinion and I'm glad you elaborated every detail. I still bought it and I loved it and helped so much!
I trust you opinion over any beauty influencer on the internet. I don’t think you have a dog in the race so you are straight up with us. I aLso trust your expertise as you are very intelligent. So nice to have “ a go to “ that will tell it the way it is. Thank you for always having our best interests in mind
@@DrDrayzday I was hypervigilent and it was my mission at the pool and beach to tell everyone 50 means every 50 minutes lol. Also my afternoon routine was at 5pm ordering coffee to my room and watching that days Dr. Dray.
I purchased the Ussera and the Booster. I still use gel with both and Peptide and HLA serum under the gel. I actually like these products. My complexion is looking better. Use the Ussera weekly and Booster abt 4 times a week. I am not using on neck as I am currently having BBL laser on neck and jawline. I certainly wouldnt use retinoids whilst using these devices. I am still at Level 1 and it only takes 5 minutes to use the booster
It is doin a difference to your skin. I've been watching you for a long time after a long time seeing you again. This device made a big difference from you before honestly.
Good afternoon Dr Dray! I've been watching your channel for years and you've helped me more than you'll ever know. I was wondering if you could do a video on what treatments (lasers, micro needling, facials) or products you suggest using before a wedding, as well as timeline suggestions. I'm getting married June 1 and I'd love to hear your advice! Thanks for all you do ❤
My mom have a similar tho low kind device and i see her face glows and really better at her age of 84..so i believe this device will be better since it has more positive review life for asian users.
THANK You! I really needed the real feedback. I was tempted to get it due to their new Pro 4 device in one. Now I don't have to spend hundreds of dollars.
Hi Dr. Could you have a video talking about the laser devices for wrinkles compared to the LED masks. Which one is better? If you could choose only one device to treat wrinkles, which one would you choose?
Thank you for this impartial review. I’m so glad I found you. I’m new to UA-cam (started a couple months ago while recovering from surgery) and I am 72. I have learned so much!! I am considering RLT to improve my sensitive skin. I saw your video on restoring skin barrier and it has helped tremendously. Thank you, Dr. Dray!!
I am starting to really see that simple skincare is the best skincare. I didn't realise all this time I have sensitive skin and most actives make my skin worse.
Hi Doctor Dray! I have been waiting for this review. I was already contemplating on getting one. However I don't want to splurge just coz of the hype. At the end of the video, I shall give my verdict. To buy or not to buy. 😂😂😂 Greetings from Germany. ❤️
@@DrDrayzday finished watching. And thank goodness, your review came in perfect timing. My verdict is: I'll pass. Got turned off when you describe the material of the wand. For more than 200 €/$, I expect that the material is sturdy. Anyway, Thank you again so much. ❤️ I wish you a great weekdays ahead.
.thanks for your review on this device. I've asked u before about Procell Therapies ( some kinda microneedling term, could you please look into it) Sorry that I mentioned it here but u didn't see my question when I asked u before that's why I had to ask now,I really appreciate you.
I love this device and have been using it 2x daily for several months. My skin has definitely made improvement. Nothing super drastic but noticeable enough for me to continue using the device consistently. Interestingly, I no longer need to squeeze my acne since using this device I notice my acne goes away on its own much quicker. I don’t have any issues with using it with tretinoin. I also love the jelly moisturizer. I’m on my 3rd jar. I don’t mind the tackiness since I apply it at night before bed. I’m excited to receive their newest device which has microcurrent, EMS, electric microneedling, and glow booster all in one. I just ordered it. I’ve had positive experiences with all their devices.
I just got the new Medicube Pro device and I can say it’s much improved from the Glow Booster-H. You can control the device with their app via Bluetooth which makes it very convenient. You can control the intensity level up or down, volume, vibration on/off, and the coolest thing is the timer stops when the device isn’t on your skin. So if you want to apply more serum or layer another skincare product in the middle of a session, you can just set the device down and it will resume the timer once you put the device back on your skin. The device also does micro current, EMS, and electro micro needling.
Dr Dray's reviewed the Beauty of Joseon. I know the some by mi products have fragrance and tea tree extract in them. Dr. Jenny Liu did a recent review on favorite Asian skincare products and talked about the Cosrx and Mizon ones.
Dr. Dray, I am a 10 year practicing Esthetician in Texas. We carry the ZO brand, their skin philosophy is a little different...i.e. they do not believe in moisturizers. Would love a deep dive into your opinion on this product line! xx
Hi! Very glad this video came about but feel that it could be a fair review as they do recommend almost daily if not multiple use daily. It will be great if u could use it exclusively fer at least a month. Before making a review. Just my personal opinion. Thanks!
I agree…she did not use it long enough -3 months minimum. I love it! It does give my skin like “glass” - use it after each application of serum then my moisturizer ❤
I bought the medicube ems device because of all the ads and hated it and it wasn’t returnable because the package was open. I felt like the thing was electrocuting me. I would never order anything from this company again.
Hi Dr Dray! Thank you so much for this! Can you please also review the new Medicube device that has all of the functions of the other devices? I think it’s called Booster Pro! Thank yoooou❤
People who already have great skin may not see the difference it, my skin is super dry and I tested this device. Now, it's way better, hydrated and my dark spots are lighter too.
I made the mistake of purchasing it bc of all the hype of TikTok, IG, etc. it was pushed all over social media. It caused my face to breakout even more; moving the bacteria into areas where I’ve never had acne before. It’s a pass for me! Thankfully I was able to contact their customer services for refund but that process took over 2 months!
I actually love the device. I've been using it for almost 4 months and I notice my skin is much smoother and glowing. I feel the difference.
Which products you use with it?
I love this thing. Works exactly like you said.
How did you get a 55% discount? I looked for a discount too but couldn't find any
@@Elrewin59 Medicube was having a week or two of 50% off their devices during November as a part of their Black Friday month of specials.

Thank you for your no-nonsense, balanced opinion. Always appreciated 👍🏼
Can you please advise how you incorporate this vit c and niacinamide?
Thank you again for helping me save money and my closet space 😄
Rachel, I ran out of room. I now have two dedicated shelves on my bathroom 😂 over the toilet.
Dr. Dray thanks for the info. Love your brain. And your patience explaining things to us.
I do but it gets put in a truck every week - my city's trash can!
I have the pro not the one she is using which is the older version, I like it, I like that tingly sensation it does to my skin, it has a better tone after it, like is very noticeable, u can see ur skin glow too, I don’t know about everything else but I ll continue using it to see in few months if I can tell more differences
I have tried it and it works I have been using it for the past 6 months
Try it over a sheet mask
i do agree...
u have to consistently use it..
and not use a few times and then make a review for it with reservations...
even whether a moisturizer needs time to work.....
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR DR DRAY TO SPEAK ON THISSSS!!! Thank you!!!
It helps with sinus blockage? Can u expand on that? I’m genuinely curious. Thanks!

😂😂😂😂😂😂
How much did u pay after the discount?
@JhilmilBasu a little over 200, 210ish.. but it came with 4 full sized skin care products. It was a bundle. I didn't care for the products because they pilled, I gave them away. The person using them does not wear makeup and really likes them.
@nicolem1225 thanks for the info 😃
She impressed me too.
Everything you said so true 👍🏽
I did buy and tried the Booster H when it came out. I must say I have rosacea and until I saw your video and mentioned rosacea I was surprised. I can say it does help absorb better your skincare. As you mentioned it depends what type of skincare. Mostly, I have used it when I use a sheet mask at night to calm my redness and I have seen that it calms and I have better skin. But I do believe that the results may vary from person to person.
I just received the booster pro today and I have rosacea , do you use yours every day ? Thanks for your comment. 😊

Me too!!

What products are you using with this device?
@@MissKrisLoves In the morning, I start with Suharto first care, then Donginbi essence, then Donginbi daily defense essence, followed by a mixture of triple erasing cream and collagen jelly. Both from Medicube. I let them soak in. Then I use the Medicube booster with a bit of the collagen glow bubble serum. This is for winter dry season. In summer I skip the triple deep erasing cream in the morning and only use it at night. I love Medicube products. They work beautifully on my sensitive, mature skin.

great review as always - i do have one question - when you say it doesn't effect a significant improvement on your skin... is that really a good litmus test given that your skin is already pretty much perfect - in the close ups of your videos your skin is always clear, luminous, dewy, smooth, etc... so yes i recognize the various concerns you have with the device... but again i just wonder what product/device would really effect a drastic change on somebody like you that already has their skin in pretty optimal shape...?
Excellent question. I hope that our @drdray sees and answers your question.
Amazing question, I’m curious as well
I got my Booster Pro (the newer 6 in 1 device) a little over 8 or 9 weeks ago and shipped to the UK.
Why don’t you have to use medicube specific products in the booster pro only? Do you have to with their other devices?
Hence, we are watching influencers 😂😂😂
but there is a key difference between influencers and real dermatologists: expert knowledge. lol
Be careful of absorption of ingredients. These are rigid chemicals that can have hormonal imbalance. Please proceed with caution regarding absorption
I wish i could go to Russia and have that done to me 😂
I really love this device! I definitely saw difference and I have sensitive skin AND prone to cold sores, but I had no issue with it fortunately! I have been using it for a year now. But the jelly moisturizer... I also am not crazy about it.
What is the difference on your skin??😮😊
I think this review by her is very flawed.
First, she never used this daily as advised so not seeing the full results is a given.
Second, she obviously didn’t use it often enough to know the device automatically switches off at 5 mins, not 10.
Personally I have used it once daily for 6 months and my skin has achieved another level of glass skin
A difference was seen in a week
Full results in 3 mths

@LeftRight4029 Well, I get tension headaches with a lot of fascia tension too. I have found that the machine has been helpful in ways that self-massage and stretches weren't, and allowed massage to be more efficientafterwards. This is just my experience with using the machine like the medicube video suggested on the face, and on my neck and shoulders. I also focused on scalenes, top of the back of the neck, masseters, and frontalis muscles.

It seems like much of the research on electroporation uses a high voltage - 30 V minimum and often upwards of 100 V. So I’m not totally convinced yet that a handheld device is really capable of doing much.
Thanks for the balanced discussion on this one. I know MediCube gets pushed a lot.

I have used this device since June and I can say that my skin has a slight “glow” to it even when. It’s literally paper dry. By no means this will give u glass skin like Korean idols, but it did help my skin a lot.
Hate TikTok influencers. And I’m sad that people will listen to those over trained professionals giving free advice.
I wish Dr Dray gave this more time like she did the omnilux. Seems like an oversight in how she usually reviews products :/
👏👏👏
I also love their EMS device.
is that the device that's 6 in 1? why do you think it was better than the regular?

I don’t care for the jelly, btw.

I like this device - an influencer applies all her products with this…it gives my skin the Glass Look!!!
$230 USD is the price tag, going down from $330 USD. That's also the cost of going to an aesthetician/dermatologist for a chemical peel. The choice is pretty clear.
Depends where you go. Some places are most expensive than others.
Also, the cost for spa cost is for one visit rather than repeated use of device.
Was going to buy it next week in Seoul - thanks for saving me $470!
Medicube launched a new device that combines kinda all of their devices in Korea at the end of last year, so check it out. I have no affiliation to Medicube. I just like its devices.
470 is the pro version, no the one she is using which is 6 devices in one, included the one she is using “air shot”
Yeay, I’ve been waiting for a review on electroporation before buying a device.
Basically suitable for Asians. Not all skin types are best and it is your opinion and I'm glad you elaborated every detail. I still bought it and I loved it and helped so much!
I love this device. My skin feels more plumped and moisturized. Ive been using it consistently for 3 months
I think I'll pass on this device!🤔 thanks for the review.
We need a review for the Qure microneedling kit! Please do a video on that as well. Appreciate all your efforts in keeping us informed!
Omg yess!! I’ve had my eye on that but idk if the other derms that advertise it is being paid or not
I find it sooooo expensive that I didn’t even bother. There are tones way cheaper.
I trust you opinion over any beauty influencer on the internet. I don’t think you have a dog in the race so you are straight up with us. I aLso trust your expertise as you are very intelligent. So nice to have “ a go to “ that will tell it the way it is. Thank you for always having our best interests in mind
Home again Home again! Watched at night in Cancun.... and am proud to report no sunburs in many days in the sun. 💜💜💜
Glad to hear there were no sunburns
@@DrDrayzday I was hypervigilent and it was my mission at the pool and beach to tell everyone 50 means every 50 minutes lol. Also my afternoon routine was at 5pm ordering coffee to my room and watching that days Dr. Dray.
Hi Dr. The device can actually be connected to smartphone via Bluetooth, and you can change to mute mode by pressing buttons ❤ you’re welcome ❤
Thanks for all you do ❤
Dr. Sam Ellis has a video on this going from a year before to a week before and goes over what she did before her wedding.
We truly appreciate this Dr Dray. It also saves us the money.
Any chance of this ‘melting fat’ or collagen ? This is a constant worry of mine when it comes to any of these devices
Thank you Dr Dray. Then what device will you recommend to help lift our face at home?
I’m 43, I use this with a vitamin c serum, and I love the results.
Happy Monday Dr. Dray!! I’ve been waiting for this review since you mentioned it over the weekend. Ok now on to the video 🩷
Thank you very much for purchasing this device, trying it, and sharing your review. Very very helpful. Thank you for saving me money. 😊
I am glad you did this review. I was thinking about it to buy it, but now I will not. Thank you , you just saved me money !
Hi Doctor Dray! I have been waiting for this review. I was already contemplating on getting one. However I don't want to splurge just coz of the hype. At the end of the video, I shall give my verdict. To buy or not to buy. 😂😂😂 Greetings from Germany. ❤️
Thanks for watching
😲 I feel its first not sponsored opinion
I’ve noticed more kbeauty brands (innisfree, goodal, beauty by Joseph, etc) releasing RETINOLS. Can you please review some? Thanks!
Dr Dray's reviewed the Beauty of Joseon. I know the some by mi products have fragrance and tea tree extract in them. Dr. Jenny Liu did a recent review on favorite Asian skincare products and talked about the Cosrx and Mizon ones.
This is why we love you, your honest and straightforward 🙌🏼
Dr Dray has a few good points. I wonder what are some good alternatives to the Medicube cream and serums to be used with this device?
SHE NEVER SKIPS A BEAT 👏🏽🙌🏽
Thanks so much for the honest review. Definitely won’t be investing in as it sounds very time consuming for few (if any) benefits.
I bought the medicube ems device because of all the ads and hated it and it wasn’t returnable because the package was open. I felt like the thing was electrocuting me. I would never order anything from this company again.
I completely agree with you. I had the same results (didn’t do anything).
Hi Dr Dray! Thank you so much for this! Can you please also review the new Medicube device that has all of the functions of the other devices? I think it’s called Booster Pro! Thank yoooou❤
Can't wait to watch this video!! (haven't watched yet) and Tati was. promoting it big time!
People who already have great skin may not see the difference it, my skin is super dry and I tested this device. Now, it's way better, hydrated and my dark spots are lighter too.
Would there be any point in using this if you’re already micro/nanoneedling at home?
I love how Dr. Dray talks from a scientist standpoint when talking about makeup haha. Gets the science in me riled up.
