Adidas has slowly but surely made all their models look more and more like each other

I miss the old adidas, the Crazy Explosives were one my favorite shoes all time, the earlier Hardens were amazing too.
Still got my primeknit all red crazy explosives, they're still in the rotation when I'm playing indoor 💪🏼
Harden vol 3 is probably Adidas' greatest signature shoe ever. It had the best cushioning for an Adidas shoes ever plus the traction and fit was really great.
I still have my 2017 explosive and it still perform well Indoor and outdoor

I’m sad before this video even starts I bought the vol.5 and hearing everything I heard, just hurts I felt like I missed out on the vol.6. Also the vol.2 is the best for me due to it having the most boost and having the boost-y feel. I just hope they continue the BYW line for casual and basketball performance
I love the way these play and am super happy performance wise and for comfort. The biggest complaint I got is they get Hella dirty on that felt and are impossible to get fully clean.. Frustrated they already looking decently used

Harden Vol 3 are one of the best basketball shoes. These look pretty comfortable around the ankle !

It's similiar to Harden vol 1 performance wise. The materials are getting dirty just by looking at them unfortunetly. But beside that , very fun shoe to Play, great stability on court, boost does what boost do especially on the heel part, but in front, it's still provide domek good courtfeel and coushion. I just Play in them once but right now I like them even more than my favourite Harden 3.... But we will see. Chris, do You plan to get them a full performance review whenever You ready and Play them some more ?
Chris, Jodi remember the adidas Crazy Boost You Wear joints. Pretty sure they are for basketball and they got some mad bouncy boost on them. They are designed to prevent ankle role also. If you look for em you might still be able to get a pair 🙂

I think they'll be great in doors specially hardens are great at indoor gyms and by the way, the other shoes that you were talking about that has boost midsole is the crazy BYW 2.0...

The Adidas Marquee Boost had full length boost cushion too, in case anybody else aside from NW is wondering.

Its crazy to me. Like with Harden shoes I feel like there is a vibe with the shoe that directly correlates with Harden's success.
Vol. 1 It was new and different and was the start of a new Harden just like the 2017 season
Vol. 2 to me is the best all-around. Cool on the court and off the court.(Personally my favorite Hardens) Best season of his career, MVP
Vol. 3 Underappreciated just like his 2019 season. ELITE ELITE and will be more appreciated when you look back at it
Vol.4 Pretty Mediocre. Overall not bad but could've been better, just like the 2020 season
Vol.5 Sometimes seemed great but deep down you knew that shoes were bricks and not the right fit. Also hammy that year
Vol.6 The only one I haven't bought yet but based on looks, looks like last years. A hint of the past might help make the shoe work. I am not too sure about the fit yet, but the fit of Embiid and Harden be looking pretty good

Harden 3s and Jordan 34s and 35s will hold it down while I wait for a quieter colorway
Liking the minimal drop heel to toe height. Wouldn’t mind some perforation holes for breathability tho. Felt seems like it’ll be a sweat box. Kobe 5s have nice perf holes and they sell okay why stop putting them in the design??

Just buy the Drew League, or the McDonald’s All-American Colorways they have a breathable knit upper that solves most problems with creases, cleanliness or even durability. I have the Drew League color and the only problem is when playing on a dirty court. Wyping the bottom keeps it grippy though… Love those shoes

My friend got a pair, he likes them but the upper is super scuffed already from indoor hooping. Not cleaning up well either.

The Trae young 1 was by far the worst bball shoes I’ve ever played in 😞 the fit was horrible and I went a 1/2 size down after returning my tts pair and the traction was bad.

There’s no infinity plate it’s only a molded arch shank plate, doesn’t go full length as one would hope for 😢 just when u think adidas would do the right thing

You should probably go up a size, I wear size 12 and it was very tight on me I would probably switch to 13 if I could/
I have to say I strongly disagree that the feel cheap. They feel different for sure but not cheap. I really like the shoe. Got some fatigue wearing them all day (I don’t play basketball). The band is for lockdown assistance.
Does it really feel tiring ? Cause im planning to use this as everyday use only not for basketball

I tried them in store, vol 5 i wear 9 (all other hardens: 2, 3, 4 i m 9.5) but this time i go for 10.5. Weird

I love the Trae Youngs but the Harden 5's were uncomfortable as hell.

Other than his first signature shoe I have never seen anyone wear the rest of his models.Not sure if its because he does a terrible job of marketing his shoe or the general disdain people have for him as a person and player.
Might be a bit of all of that. I have his Vol. 1 shoes. Not only did they look great but boost held up extremely well. Used them for years and they still felt comfortable. I don't know what Lightstrike is like by comparison though.

So far, the Dame 8's are horrible for me. Maybe they need more breaking in, but so far, the bounce + is horrible.

Yeah adidas is doing that with a lot of their golf models as well. Recycled materials that don't look as premium as previous models and the price points are ridiculously high. I'm waiting for those gil zero to come out as well whenever that happens
