Which one do you like better? Harden Vol. 6 or 7??
I have 3 pair of Vol 6s. I play indoors with the Taxi yellows, outdoors with the black and white cow prints, and have a casual pair of black and white cow prints color way as well. Im 44 years old and still hoop with the youngsters. Its imperative that I have good cushion and boost is getting the job done for me. My knees and calf muscles feel great after playing in these whether its indoor or outdoor. I tried on the vol 7 and didnt like the feel but they look better than the 6. If youre concerned with keeping them clean make sure to get the color way that has a mesh upper. I have no problem keeping the taxi yellow pair clean with a reshoevn8tr kit. The black ones just require dry brushing of the uppers after play and a light soapy scrub of the mids. If you toe drag in felt uppers theyll be short lived. At this stage of life I can say that this shoe fits my play style. I rely on IQ and footwork to get my spots on the floor. Im not as fast as I was when I was younger but Im good enough to have earned the name "Nice OG" by the younger guys I hoop with. Anyway thanks for the review Tommy because you helped me find a shoe that worked for me.

I have both, but I like playing in the 6s better. The ankle stability and cushioning is amazing. However I love wearing my 7s even while not playing ball. The all red colorway is so fresh!

the midfoot shank was a big leap, many companies try to do full length of those but the Chinese brands do rock them well with those carbon.
Yeah I’m surprised they switched up the shank, cause they’ve been using a similar design on hardens for a while

The 7s are better for a couple of reason. You will feel slower in the 6s. I’m not sure if your foot sinks too far in the cushion but the push off is bad. It’s fixed with the light strike in the 7s and then the heel lockdown allows for quicker movement in the 7s. On a negative side, the 7s grab dirt quicker on the sole.
Both heat. I would prefer the 7 tho.

Here's my question: how do these stack up versus the Harden Vol 3?
Yes both are great 😃 Umm I have the gold colorway of the Vol. 3, was skating on ice on a dusty court… Idk about other colorways cause others seemed to have really liked them, but I’ll def take the 6 & 7 over those.
Tommy Liu That's too bad about your experience with the Harden Vol 3. I have the coral colorway and it's my favorite basketball shoe. I wish they had gone with full-length Boost for the Harden Vol 7. I think that would've had the potential to be an all-time great shoe. I would've happily paid more for that, too.

I just hate paying 170 for outside use .. I do want comfort outside and thats hard to find for me .. until I got these 7s ..I guess I gotta walk light .. lol

Hooped in the vol 6 today and these are amazing for wide feet I had previously hopped in kyries and gt cut 2 but dam these didn’t even hurt my toes after playing for about 3 hours , lockdown is good as well as traction , cushion is good as well .
I like the harden vol 7 the best

Thanks for sharing 7 does look somewhat better, but the 7 is not on sale like the 6 lol, I got the yellow Harden for $52 from Academy sports and it really performs well.

I don't know what it feels to have an original shoes. I can only afford super fake ones. 😅😢 But I'm glad i can see what the original looks like. 😂

The harden 6 does not seem as durable as you said. I used them for 5 months and noticed the outsole wears to the point of missing completely (I can see the midsole). Also note that I wear it everyday to school and played 1 or 2 turf soccer games. Compare to the one take 1, this was a massive reduction in use time.

I see. I think it’ll be hard to find some basketball shoes that can hold up perfectly under that type of usage, especially the modern performance models designed mainly for indoor use. Put in some soccer games in them too 😂 The Harden’s outsole is already one of the most sturdy ones out there just from my experience, but thanks for your input!
