Agreed that there's a big improvement on the production from Time Stands Still to Apex. Before this album they sell-produced. They got on Napalm after the album was recorded to get better distribution, and the production value really reflects that.
One of the best metal bands in years, full stop. I love the classics as you do, and I love these guys. You would love Test Your Metal (classic 80s in every way) and The Wind That Shapes The Land (an epic and their magnum opus). Please check these out as well, and keep rocking!
You will like BLIND GUARDIAN. The entire NIGHTFALL ON MIDDLE EARTH album is outstanding. Start with track 1 and listen all the way through…. Tolkein metal at its finest.
My common refrain is that Brittney Slayes is what would happen if Bruce Dickinson and Ronnie James Dio somehow conceived a child together, and this song is one of the clearest examples of that.
Fuk ya.. !!!!... if it were I to suggest a song next for them.. it would be Legacy.. off Abyss...just to give you a bit of a different side of them .. but I love all of UtA.. even their oldest stuff.. keep up the great work .. loving it !!!
I'll say something other reactors have: You could drop Brittney and Unleash the Archers into 1985, and they wouldn't just compete, they would dominate.
Since your already a fan of UTA.... might i suggest you check out Battle Beast another very powerful female lead and not as retro but a similar vibe ....or Fuershwanz a German powermetal band with a sense of humor and a love of metal cover versions
I found your video a bit late, but hear me out. There is a little know band called Lost Horizon, who released an album in 2001 called Awakening the world. Listen to the opening track from that and tell me you don't see it
I know, I know, crucify me, guys, but i would like to throw their take on ''Northwest Passage'' into the ring. And I am not even Canadian.
There is a karaoke of Brittany doing Queen of the Reich on youtube. Unbelievable. They went on later to do a cover but the karaoke is so awesome.
I was told about that and looked up the karaoke one, it was so good!
@@BraindeadBreakdown legend has it that this was done after a gig...out to unwind wit the band & crew.
It was in a club in Edinburgh, at the aftershock part, so after she had sang a whole gig. Pity the poor bugger who was up after her
@@D0CI87PCLegend also has it she'd had a few wobbly pops along the way beforehand too.
I am right with you, these guys are my FAV!
She's the best
IKR! A-5s with no prob! MATE!

I kinda like the raw low-budget sound of this album.

I will definitely be checking out more! There will be a new UtA video soon!
Effing amazing!

That sounds like a great sound track for a D n D session 😂
Yes… the album is about the Silmarillion.
My common refrain is that Brittney Slayes is what would happen if Bruce Dickinson and Ronnie James Dio somehow conceived a child together, and this song is one of the clearest examples of that.
A very good description! 😂

This album came out after Apex, which had Awakening and Cleanse the Bloodlines.
I am sorry about that, I am enjoying the band so will go in with more info next time. The info I had said Apex was 2017 and this was 2015.
This was before APEX and Abyss
@@BraindeadBreakdown You are correct
Wong mate. I think this was the video they did that got them signed.
@@BraindeadBreakdown I'm sorry. I was wrong. I'm enjoying your content and can't wait to see more UTA reactions.
