I'd personally like either two big maps, or one big map with three small ones. Big maps for story and small maps for quick games (like town in BO2). If they want to make good small maps they can't make them too complicated like BO4, and they should make them super simple and easy to understand like Town.
I just want to emphasize that it's good if the big maps are complicated, but if they're going to make small to medium sized survival maps they should make it more like Town and less like IX. Small-medium sized maps cater to casuals, and large maps cater to the hardcore players.
Ngl, Town is unintelligible the first few times you play it. It really isn’t “simple.”
@@Noodlecow2 There are 3 doors and the Pack a Punch and Mystery box (50% of the time) are both in the spawn room. It doesn't get easier than that.
@@JadonKaiser I’m talking more about the general routing and unlocking of perks. Boiling it down to just box and PaP is a bit ignorant and feels like an intentional oversimplification to win internet points.
@@Noodlecow2 Dude, it's the most basic Treyarch map ever created that still has the same features as the big maps. I guess you could say that Bus Depot is more simple but it doesn't have any of the basic features like perks or pap. Name one map that has a Pack a Punch machine that is easier to route than Town?

U cant use that as an example for everything. Bo4 was 3 years. Technically 2 years 11 months. While the new black ops is gonna be 4 years.

I feel like a nice blend of Cold War and Bo1/2/3/4 and Waw with a little MW would be nice. Basically a stew with the best enjoyable parts of each game.
I can’t wait to see more of Samantha and Richthofen. Samantha’s character design was iconic in Cold War. My brother our friend and I also need new games to play on Saturday nights that aren’t fucking Apex or Halo Infinite we are really gasping for air at this point, it’s terrible really we absolutely need a new zombies experience to play in the background. I don’t care if Gulf War’s multiplayer experience is garbage as has been the status quo recently but I hope that Campaign and Zombies makes up for it.
I think the Vodianoy is the boat we will see in the next game, i really hope to see a submarine playable area or as a mean of transport we can use to defeat a main boss, we didn't have a submarine appearance since COTD which was used only to appear and give signals.
I really want to see some new WW like BO1 : thundergun, babygun, wave gun, scavenger... I mean they can use the scrapped shangri la WWs ideas like the Bell Gun.

It is essential that Treyarchs begins designing their zombie maps to account for new game modes.
Black Ops II was great in concept but it could have gone so much farther with how the maps were designed.
Personally, I'd love to see a classic survival mode that cuts off sections of the maps (much like TranZit) and turns the mode into the old school zombies experience casual veterans remember from older games.
Plus, a Hardcore Mode for Zombies would be a great way for players to become competitive for leaderboards.
Not since Black Ops III have players been concerned with sharing their leaderboards online.

I doubt they’ll do 4 maps again probably the two leaked round based maps and maybe a 3rd open world/outbreak type experience we know there files referencing a hub and dark aether rifts
I don’t think they’ll do 4 RB maps launch again. If anything I think having 2 maybe 3 RB maps and 1 open world map on launch makes sense.
Also with the 2025 rumored BO2 remaster I think zombies will pull the ZC2 card and remaster the BO2 maps that weren’t part of ZC1. Gulf War will get new maps and 2025 will be a remaster year similar to MW3.

i've heard cod 2025 is a remaster of bo2, so i think they have put a lot of their time in gulf war since they wanna focus on a new title more than a remaster, so I'm thinking 8-10 maps in total for zombies

But they butchered the game with comic cutscenes & the ugly boring perk system. That literally only made me play it for 1k hours.
And no, I‘m not joking here, I‘m a massive sucker for Treyarch zombies since 2008. And I would‘ve played BO4 up to 3k hours + if they didn‘t butcher the perk system. Not to mention the other things they fucked up with the game. (Cut content, etc)
I even made the first German tutorial guide (that was popular at the time, for Tag der Toten Easter Egg. I was so proud to do that, since I grew up with these characters. Btw, this is a very old alt account, so I‘m not promoting myself here).
But hey, still got my 1k hours outta it. Oder 3k + hours went into Blackout, the BEST BR I‘ve ever played 🖤

Ive played every cod zombies since W@W but nothing even compares to the joy I had playing WW2 zombies. Sledghammer had a talented passionate team that gave us the best zombies experience we'll ever see. I know most will disagree with me, because yall prefer PG kiddy cartoon zombies which is fine, but I would kill for another zombies mode with dark creepy atmospheres and terrifying zombies...
These dudes better be learning from their mistakes… it better be 2 main maps and 2 small survival maps, like a town.
