the thing is Jordan 4s suck for biking. I don't bmx bike I mtb but the pedals are essentially the same besides cleats on most platform mtb pedals, AJ4's are just too thick and stiff. The sole is nice and flat so it's great for my pedals to grip but again they soles are too thick and they are too stiff. I can't speak for skateboarding though since I've never skateboarded.

the mix of flat plastics, sueded panels, the canvas and shiny leather looks like it was just put together rather than formed from a cohesive thought. The new restomod shape is good on foot, especially for us big shoe boys. A size 13 - 4 is a whole lot of shoe when you're looking down. Nigel is dope though, will always support that guy. His 1's were my first jordans.
These won't sell for everyone. My reasoning is that only a certain number of people would buy it for what it was made for, while many would buy it just to add to their collection. Also, it takes away any accents from the 4, except the mudguard

So I am highly wondering what they did because if nothing much to the soul I see a lot of broken ankles in the near future 😅. But note you want to BMX in Nikes ? Use Air Force ones ! Total crazy game changer and the Virgil off white Air Force 1 high are insane and totally a vibe for riding park and trails

Yup, the color blocking on this shoe definitely makes or breaks it. Both Nigel pairs are beautiful. And not only bc they are a collaboration but the solid upper with the black/white midsole, premium buttery suede (looks much better than the leather) and that tiny swoosh on the mudguard (especially the Red Driveway Gray one.. 👨🍳😘). This colorway your reviewing almost looks like a platform shoe bc the mudguard blends in with the midsole, the Gray GR looks like it should be a big kid release only, and the 2 tone pairs w/ different color cages just look strange. Only GR that looks decent is that all over cream. Other than that NS pairs are the way to go. Especially since his Gray pair isn’t much over retail!
Looks more wearable and I hope they're more comfortable than an average AJ4. Not a fan of this particular colorway but I hope these flop and they release other colorways. I don't think a lot of people are feeling these.
These are sick. I just copped the nigel sylvester grandma's driveway they only run me 400 on goat. Got a bunch of dope exclusive half cabs so if they remind you of that I'm stoked can't wait to get em. They'll look sick next to my aj4 x sb pine greens.

They’re nice shoes, but next to the 4’s I’m not a fan. I’d have preferred if they went with a different name for them. Calling them 4’s makes me do the comparison and I’m sure everyone else do the comparison. And these don’t hold a candle to the 4’s design

The RMs are so snug compared to the 4. Since they took away from the upper they got smaller width wise. I’ve stretched the crap out of mine and they’re still snug. It’s disappointing. I’m a wide footer fyi. I have this colorway and canyon rust.

Im not sure why they jacked up the color. Its not balanced. And its not close. Its like its done out of convince of ordering to many mid soles for regular 4's. The white and black just dosnt flow. Look at 4's you compared too. how white goes from high in back, to mid in mid. then zero in front...Thats balanced. the RM front white is higher than the back white, and thats what makes shoe look stupid. This shoe will be dope when they decide to make it right, and not having the convince of using extra material already made.

Sounds logical good prediction but outside the biking game I don't think many will cop n continue to cop as different colorways arise over time.
