Liked the video, and love the channel/community quality. My T3 OTK version sails more rakdos-ish with jitte, stargaze and feign death etc. Even more fun and interactions ! For those who struggle with MonoB discard : don't play T2 if you're on the draw, their deck strat is to kill your T2 as wincon. Then Otk when they've tapped out on T5. They always have like 8 removals in hand. On the play they'll have to chump the trickster with the stoopid bat and you get your card back, not that of an issue.
Great video as always. This archetype feels really strong but I put in 4 copies of the dreadmaws ire because the trample just feels too necessary. I dont have the chaplenger or the heartfire hero yet but when I get it I'm going to try them out with moght of the meek
I saw another list get Mythic #5 that cut down to 16 lands and ran a full play set of Dreadmaw's Ire and 4 Demonic Ruckus instead of the 2 Blazing Crescendo. You could easily do the same but replace the Demonic Ruckus with Might of the Meek. mtga.untapped.gg/profile/c2429b2c-7795-41ec-b961-c2558c4123df/HG4YBSCKD5AL7CHZL5CIPRH7KU/deck/4c1eff5a-f0f2-42cd-ba23-c561e4a1d118?timeFrame=current_season&constructedType=ranked
Advice for everyone playing this deck- Mull aggressively to be able to either- kill turn 3, or play through one cut down Running 19 lands will screw you at one land some games, but imo is worth it If your going for mythic, conceding early is never bad if you run out of cards in hand! T1 cacophony/Heartfire, is stronger than t1 swiftspear Dont run shocks or lighting bolts despite everyone else running them, not running them will make you win the mirror a RIDICULOUS amount of the time! (I think i won like 70-75% of the mirrors) You can splash green if you want for snakeskin veils and other pump spells, splashing black really doesnt matter lol Any other questions ill answer in comments :D (or corrections, i have been wrong before heh) -Top 20 mythic (ive been mythic before with other decks as well)
Good advice. However, I have my doubts about shocks not improving the mirror. When writing out the lines, shock can be a deciding factor especially on the draw. Just be careful about small personal sample sizes :)
Another thing i forgot to mention is the replacement of shocks are pump spells, which brings your t3 kill up by a significant percentage. If you are on the draw, if your opponent has a shock instead of a t3 kill, you can more reliably kill t3 through the shock (plot a slickshot t2, pump once, shock in response pump again with a snakeskin or dreadmaws ire, then sling it at your opponent) TLDR- Basically you trade the shock for a higher chance of a t3 kill and can play through a shock with pump spells which makes it imo a better option in the mirror
@@Arstall may play with the land for a bit, did 10 more games but never got flooded like the 1st 3 games. interestingly I have seen more U/W then mono black but deck is still performing well

Hey I have a question about mythic rank: is it worth to try to push asap to high mythic rank? because I noticed that when I go from Diamond to Mythic I get instantly placed into #7xx... So I was thinking if it is better to just wait until the day before the end of the season to climb up to mythic since I'm gonna be placed in that favorable position already, instead of having to play the entire month against mythic decks and risking my 1200 position to get play-in points.
If you push later in the format you'll be placed around 93% in my experience and still have to grind to top 1200. Most grinders I've seen play early, then sit, and then climb again at the end of the season when they decay below 1200
@shadowsun4055 From what I've researched, Mythic has it's own MMR separate from Bronze-Diamond. Then to further complicate the matter, they change the Mythic MMR 2 weeks into the season. Definitely some interesting stuff going on behind the scenes
Brother, thank you very much for the video! It's excellent for those who don't have much time to play. But I DOUBT you only spent that long (4.5 hours) to get mythic. Not that you aren't capable, but Arena's balance prevents this, making you fail lands, muligarize at 5, only buy lands, almost always play on draw... or even making you take 3 or 4 removals in the first turns , making you face decks that have cards that nullify your strategy, etc. WHENEVER you start to have a lot of wins in a row, Arena finds a way to put an obstacle in your way so you can lose. You could even make a video about it. Start repairing! Hug!
