This video is intended to demonstrate how our meters can be daisy chained together and connected to either our iSerial TCP/IP to serial converter, or to our EKM Push. They are then connected to an ethernet network to enable meter reads to be viewed over the internet. Up to 256 meters can be daisy chained together over 4000 feet of RS-485 wire and connected to one of the aforementioned devices. EKM metering's vision is to provide electricity metering solutions to fill the niche between traditional "dumb" meters, which are costly to install and need to be individually and locally read, and very expensive metering services or metering systems that require a high level of expertise to install and configure.
